It is the best GR3 car. Won all the Gr3 events and now tackling the missions that resort to gr3 cars. Good acceleration and well balanced steering. Doesn't oversteer easily.
I just used this car with soft racing tires and a mid-RPM turbo to win the World GT Series (book 39) and I won the first three races, so I barely had to try on the last two. I ended up winning the championship by 10 points even after only needing one point to guarantee a championship victory I still ended up finishing 5th on the last race, because Nürburgring in the dark when you're not familiar is a challenge... Two spinouts, and I still came in 5th, not bad at all. Amazing car.
I can't keep the backend on the ground for that car. The Nismo GTR '13 however, I run about 2 seconds faster on laptimes. I think with the right setup, the Gr. 3 GTR is better and more consistent
BOP is so frustrating. When the first week was tuning for Gr. 3 I used the Ford GTLM '18 car and was able to make it a decent driving car. Now that it's back to BOP the thing is super twitchy and snap oversteers at the worst times. It sucks because I was looking forward to using it but the stock BOP settings for it make it handle like garbage. I don't want to have to keep buying the new meta car just to be competitive in a BOP race.
I swear to god the game makes you oversteer completely out of the blue or speeds up AI to keep the positions and money you earn down.... I play all assists off and am a sim veteran with AI set at hardest....it's fcking bizarre.
I'm quite fond of the Huracán Gr.3. I'm certain it's the heavily modded STO developed not too long ago. DDE did a vid about it. May be thinking of another car, but it looks similar.
They need to add a tuning race back into the lineup, badly. I know the PP system is probably being worked on since nothing in this game was ready at launch, but I quit playing Sport more than two years due to the bore of BoP, and Sport Mode feels identical to Sport, just with a different (yet somehow still bad) penalty system. Doesn't help that just like in Sport there is one dominate car for every race, and given we have a near identical car list, it REALLY feels like Sport. So much potential in this game and it's all being squandered
exactly what I was saying. It also takes away the whole purpose of some cars builds. The Supra being forced into it's set weight and distribution takes away it's sole advantage of it's lightweight 4 cinder engine place so far back.
i drive with this car in PP 730 race 10 laps Daytona and i CAN'T win ... max 10 place... something wrong with that race against AI . Need some help please. Im stuck in GT7 like more players.
The key I have found with 10 lap races is to immediately turn "lean" on the car to the highest setting during the rolling start. Depending on the vehicle I usually can pit at the right time. I get anxious those last few laps because the lead car will be super far ahead but usually they will be forced to pit the last lap leaving me in 1st place. I can usually predict this is going to happen by seeing how many positions I can move up the first few laps. It's a trial and error kind of thing because of course you have to have a set of tires that will last and a car that can compete for the level of races selected.
@@Jurassic_Thrones That race is very frustrating. My friend bought several cars to see which one could help him out. He ended up with the Lancer Evo Gr.3. But if it’s just for the sake of winning and you don’t really care how, cut the first left-right combo at the chicane, so at the backstraight keep left and just go straight while still flooring it, than lift off throttle and kind of cut the second part too, don’t stay on the grass too long. You’ll gain about 3s. Obviously you won’t get CRB, but if you just want to get the 1st place, all gloves are off ;-). You can keep fuel map 6, so pit at the end of lap 7, start on RH and don’t get new tires during the pitstop, only go for fuel, remember you only need to do 3 more laps, so fill it up for 5 laps, so you can use fuel map 1 for the rest of the race. You’ll exit the pit just 1 or 2 seconds ahead of the number 2, if you do it right.
I bought the car and tried a tune out I found on TH-cam, I didn’t feel I could utilize it the same way the person who made it did. I think I’ll go back and set it back to stock and fiddle with suspension to see what I can come up with . Did you do any special tuning to your car ?
No special tune, everything left as basic. The RCZ takes a little time to get used to, especially if you don't usually use MR cars, but it's poised and predictable as well as strong under BoP!
@@RacingGamesGG thank you, I’ll go back and see what results I can pull with it back to stock and after fiddling with the tuning, can’t wait for them to add new menu books 📖
Strangely the Beetle GR3 can be tuned to 790bhp and with soft racing tyres comes out at a whopping 799 performance points - it is also lighter and well balanced and with a racing transmission can do 200mph. The McClaren is also good as is the Mercedes AMG..
Videos just like this and the people who just want to copy everybody else is what initially caused multiplayer games to start going downhill in terms of actually having fun. Ninety percent of players already religiously use this car in Gr.3 races. They need to bring tuning back into the daily races because there is currently no variety.
I been trying to figure out what gr3 I want and my dumb ass got the Nissan nismo and I was bad ass with it on gt sport but its way different on here so I'm gonna try th Porsche
The balance of performance in this game is a joke. You can buy a GT3 car, not change a thing, and receive a downgrade in performance specs. Just another reason to choose REAL SIMS for GT3 races over GT7.
Everything about this game is embarrassing. Driving's improved aside from the comical over-steer on rwd cars, looks/sounds good, but there's no damned content. Same old tracks, same old cars making it feel like a game from 2017. About 1/5th the offline content as a normal GT game (even a lot less than Sport, lol) , and a mobile f2p economy... If it wasn't for the Pan-Am grinding scripts I'd have totally given up on the game, and if they don't bring fixes to Sport mode, rebalanced economy, and at least 50% more offline content in the next update I'm done. Sony's been giving refunds this week for digital owners and I think they're going to have an enormous number of requests if they don't address this within a week
@@Carebears95 2002 called and they want their joke back. Japan has largely bowed-out of building anything interesting outside of Toyota, and the EU is going to kill Merc/BMW/Audi/Ferrari/etc by making them all go zero emissions in a decade. It is ..but depending on the track - it’s not the best on tracks with longer straights but it’s brilliant on shorter tracks
What’s the best Gr.3 car in GT7? I’m on the final circuit race and I was using the 2019 ZR1 Vette… it’s quick and all but too hard to control
In terms of BOP - The rcz is still the best gr3 car overall, it has its weaker track but its still the most op.
@@thefeels4332 WRX for me ..I'm coming 98th on Asia/oceanic region in the series ...doing ok 👍 with the REX...

Sidenote, the Gr. 2 GTR can get tuned to under 800pp. It's like using a cheat code for Gr. 3 races
Of course I see this after I spend over 2 hrs on the livery for my r8 lms evo.
R8 is nearly in every game BS 😄
The r8 is my car of choise. I love it but maybe i will give the Peugeot a go
I'll stick to my Godzilla, the GT-R Nismo GT3. Awesome perfomance overall, very stable on the tightest turns and great speed.
