This is so helpful, i mained steve when I first started this game but my fundamentals were such crap I couldn't use him well. Now I'm back to master him! This helped so much! Please make a video of setups at the wall, mid combo setups, frame traps and tech traps!! Please please cuz no one else covers advanced stuff like that!

Very similarly someone can set up Jin's broken parry after purposefully doing a -7 or -8 on block attack for great momentum, even launch opportunities

Please help. Very new to Steve. Got the parry combo except I can't get the duck 2 after f 2 1 to hit. And I buffer I get peekaboo 2 which wiffs. Any tips?
You just need to get the timing right for d duck 2 to connect, keep practicing and you’l get it right its not hard to connect.
Does Steve have anything to deal with df1 or mids ?
After the setup if the opponent goes for df 1, it can be evaded with right weave, you can even punish it with right weave 2 (4,2), but if opponents go for tracking mids its best for you to cancel to neutral

B 3+4 (flicker) -> 1, d1 -> f 3+4 (peekabo) -> 2
i'm at 5 minutes ish, the parry stuff is good, but these are all high crush setups so far, what if they respond with a 13 frame mid or a homing move?
Aggressive players or those players who don’t know the matchup parry’s and sways work 90% of the time. For those other players who really know the frames and matchup, best to sidestep and guard.
There's no better hit of dopamine then hitting shiro combos and sway 2s in tekken

Bro, your character and frame position is wrong way, make me confuse 😂
I don't know how you get away with this stuff, when i play steve online three types of things happen my opponent turtles making this useless, my opponent hopkicks me out of stances or they get right in my face and unload strings. This stuff only works if they respect you.
Its not a matter of respecting you oppinent
U need to use these tech under certain circumstances or it wont work
Snake charmer only works on highs
Weave fr 4 works on highs or linear moves
Punch parry works on punches with a certain frame dTa ( -3 to -7) ideally on block or hit
@@trinichinee6426 im aware of this and know when to use them but people still turtle up, allot of folks have steve figured out these days and dick jab or back dash or turtle as soon as im on the offense. If i start to use duck or sways its hopkick time. I love steve but winning with him is an uphill battle.

@@z4twicks406 right? Its like who and where are these people finding there opponents. You don't get away with ducking or swaying on people where i live. 90% you'll instantly get destroyed. You try to set up back 1 then they korean backdash and chip away with the odd low. Ducking cancel set ups also get launched as soon as they see the animation. I wanna fight the people in this video i'd walk them.
