If a vehicle has been left neglected for so long the rules often have to go out of the window in order to get things done. Pampering genuinely deeply ingrained old surfaces will get you nowhere in my experience!

I used G101 on my mate's camper and came up very good frist wash in 9 years.
I would have drenched it in TRF to save a little elbow grease. Amazing transformation.
Yeh off camera I might have, filming makes things far more likely to dry though 😩

It’s funny how most people think you can just chuck a bucket of water over a car, rub it a bit with a old sponge you found on the garage floor and call it a day. They don’t get just how long a good clean actually takes.

Great job! That stuff on the topside is alive and really grabs to the surface. I know it’s unorthodox for a detail pro, pool shock 12% SH will take a lot of elbow grease out of the equation.

I think the forbidden brushes for the top did it more good, even a good polish on the top and a coating would be good for the future. And I’m glad to see the rust spots eventually did come out with the polish, it must have been a night and day difference just from the clay step, well done!

Few weeks ago I have done a super-neglected Transit Luton Van that works seven days a week for a Friend, that was a bit different, but it helped me to feel that how you felt during this clean… Sunshine, drying chemicals, heavy scrubbing, not enough time to tackle everything, awkward and can’t-reach places to get to, moss-algae-rust… Proper and realistic mammouth task it was Joe, well done!!! 😉🤜🏻💥🤛🏻😎

It’s just a case of using a light to moderately abrasive polish. You don’t even need a machine, can be done by hand and a bit of elbow grease. Just keep polishing until it’s gone and uniform shine is restored!

Another great video. Can I ask when cleaning tyre walls have you a go to product ?,as when I clean mine I just use a general shampoo and it always lets the team down, even after I hit it a few times using the Viking brush or stiff bristled brush.

Always say you do what you need to do to get stuff clean leave the detailing snobs to their one bristle brush to get into the nooks and crannies to clean a spiders feet prints

Maybe you can answer my question. What is the best product to remove carnauba wax from plastic trim? I obviously didn't want to apply it on the trim but accidentally managed to put some on here and there and since then the trim is full of white marks. Tried with shampoo. Thanks. Panel Wipe 🤔
Panel wipe type product, all purpose cleaner, thick exterior dressing can often eat through it, someone mentioned a pencil eraser in my last vid but if all else fails, solution finish should recolour.

A tip for freshing up plastics (bumpers, mirrors, etc) you could use owatrol polytrol or similar.
Can't beat a Guru video and what a transformation.
Quick trick for rust runs... Cif Cream Cleaner on a damp microfiber should remove the worst of the staining and keep it fresh. Test it out on the next rusty transit you have and I'm sure you will be impressed 😍👌

That fiberglass top is very very difficult to maintain and imo needs a coat of clear coat to be more easy to wash because it's a very porous material. It's very nice that this old VW got a little attention 👍, it's a nice utility van, simple and robust and as usual, it's a pleasure to watch your work 👍
Needs protecting with something for sure! Once clean though, a couple of thorough brush shampoo jobs should stop it getting too ingrained again.

Always agitate the brushes in a circular motion...much more effective than back and forth. 38 years detailing, auto body and paint experience. Your finished product looked nice and I enjoyed watching someone else work for a change, thanks
