alex description of mario lost levels was funny but i will say doki doki panic is better for that its more interesting and not nearly as annoyingly hard
Yes, I love the North American Super Mario 2 so that is my pick 🥰. Super Mario 2 and walk the dinosaur are forever linked in my head.
I was surprised how much fun I had playing the lost levels though. Get those flying bloopers out of here and those spring too.
This was a fun one, my vote goes for Mario 2 USA, it's more creative visually and has some characters that appear in later Mario games.
I would put Mario land 1 over the lost levels, sorry Alex that game is short and sweet and not bullshit which is better ;)
Happy New Year, SMB2 Haters!Super Mario Bros 2 USA all the way! Brian and I played it back as kids before walking the one-celled organisms.
Lost Levels is fun for the challenge but I can't play it all the time because of rage.
SMB isn't just a reskin of Dokie Dokie. Run feature was added in SMB2 which makes the game flow better and feel more like mario. Also changing size mushrooms were added to be more like Mario.
As far as I know SMB2/Doki was originally created by our boy Miyamoto, to be vertical scrolling "mario" type game.

Oh yeah the hammer bros. in lost levels walk towards you now like they are terminators. I hated them. The castles in lost levels are brutal. Lost levels does feel very trolley.
Finally another episode that isn't SEGA related, this called for a celebration. You're learning guys, slowly but surely, you're learning that SEGA is bad for your health.
Anyways my vote goes to Doki Doki Panic.
You should be used to comparing shitty games by now after all the previous throwdowns, what makes these two games any different?
Do a throwdown on Need For Speed Carbon vs Midnight Club LA, that would be interesting.
