    its so interesting to see people praise FF2 lately because i remember for years that game was always bagged on. i have tried 2 versions of it being the original NES and PSP. not a fan of the NES one it felt too dated to go back to but when i played it on PSP i thought it was much better. still would not say its a massive favorite but its not bad

      For real! Used to hear bad things about it but maybe it was for older versions. The pixel remaster plays smooth as butter. I have Origins for PS1 - I’d like to try that version eventually.

    Yeah you don't strike me as being a Kitase guy (Kitase made 6, 7, 8 and 10) Kitase's stories are pretentious to say the least and are kinda a product of their time tbh. I think if you grew up with them they're a lot easier to digest but yeah some has aged better than others. Final Fantasy II gets a lot of unwarranted hate, I'd understand if it was the old school turn based combat that was the biggest turn off (which is my problem with it) but the rest of it isn't bad at all.

    Look I just came back from a once in a lifetime trip to Wembley Stadium in London to see my very first mainstream wrestling PPV show live and did I hustle during that time? Absolutely not I was sat on my ass watching other people do all the work while I scoff popcorn down my throat and eating lots of food I probably shouldn't have eaten. Do I regret any of that? Absolutely not I had a fantastic time, a moment I will never forget in my life. Making time for yourself to have fun and pleasure is so important in life I can not stress it enough. Living is about seeking joy and making memories first and foremost. While leaving a legacy is important to some degree it isn't everything. Like I'm going to be honest here, as of right now, I do not have a goal I want to achieve. I have a few things I want to do on TH-cam just to satisfy myself and then I just want to use TH-cam as a platform to share my gaming hobby rather than trying to make quality content 24/7. I do TH-cam to have fun and if that means uploading unedited videos of me just playing a videogame while talking then so be it. Thing is, sometimes you can actually make that work better than actually putting in hard work. I think we all at some point get that drive and desire to hustle but if you aren't seeing enough results from your work to justify it, then it's time to stop hustling and time to start having fun. Look we are living through an era where war can break out at any moment, where one day we may not be able to do the things we love, we gotta have fun while we can before someone presses that red button. Live for today not for tomorrow because there may not be a tomorrow. I'd like to be remembered for sure but I also want to enjoy my life, if I didn't have any pleasure, I'd regret not taking the opportunity to see it out. The beauty of playing videogames is that with each one you play, you make memories and I like to believe that those memories go with you to the afterlife, nobody can take them from you. I've always said that TH-cam is like wrestling, filler is important, don't focus solely on highly edited videos, make filler content, make content that is easy to do with the occasional sprinkle of quality every now and again to bring that premium content to reward your followers for sticking around. I find that filler content tends to work well enough for growth anyway, quality content is something personal that you do for yourself and as a way to give back to your core followers, something you do every now and again. As for the running, bear in mind that you're getting older, your body is not as fresh as it once was so you're not going to have the same energy you had when you were younger, everyone goes through that, not just you, I felt it myself, that exhaustion doesn't ever go away, you're going to struggle more and more as you get older physically, it's just bound to happen. I think the most important thing is to find the most fun way to spend your time in a way that is productive. I don't want to go to the gym every day, this month I didn't go to the gym whatsoever because the weather was so good and hot that I wanted to be outdoors, I wanted to go walking and take in the sun and the breeze, I wanted to feel free and you just don't get that at the gym. If you as me, the only time you ever need to go to the Gym every single day is if you have a financial incentive waiting for you like a sporting career or a achievement incentive like being a top Bodybuilder but that isn't what I want out of life. Will I stay scrawny? Possibly, I mean I do lift weights sure but I know it's not going to make a difference to my body because my diet is terrible but I enjoy the feeling of lifting regardless, what I don't enjoy is cardio because it's so boring, I'd rather do that outdoors but sometimes you just gotta go to the Gym to do that but you don't need to do that all the time. Mix things up. Same goes with videos, just look at the videos I do on my channel, I strive to be as spontaneous as possible to give people plenty of variety. Is this good for the algoritm? No but is it good for my viewers? Yes because they get more opportunities to see things that interest them as opposed to me only focusing on a specific game that they don't care about. Sure I could spend ages talking about Painkiller or Valkyrie Profile 2 but I don't want to be a channel that focuses solely on that because quite frankly, not enough people care about that stuff so I need to change it up for the people who want something fresh and new and sometimes that means making filler content but it works, it actually works.

    great message. a lot of people always think you have to be super productive every day and they get stressed about it but sometimes that is not always possible so you have to give yourself a rest and that is perfectly ok. even i get like that sometimes. as for a goal. i just want to stay activate enough to feel good about it. like im not trying to get ripped or become a star athlete but just enough to feel good about myself. when it comes to reading, i dont want to rush through any but i do want to try more different stuff that im not used to or read more books that are longer then the usual amount

    Staying active has always been a goal of mine and it’s something that I have a lot of fun with. Whether it’s a hot Yoga class, running on a track, doing some HITT or even hiking which I’m about to go do. It’s always been a priority because…. My diet is not that great, so it’s been my goal lately to just eat healthy during the weekdays and cheat a bit during the weekends…. It’s something that I need to work on but if I can do better with that, my health for my age would be amazing. I could go on and on but I’ll stop for now 😂, Enjoyed the video 👍

    I still own the game and this book but the only thing BOTH this guide and the PS1 Dragon Warrior 7 guide lacks is the JOB LV caps of each area (where) if your ABOVE that lv then the battles towards job mastery won't count. But DQ6 actually has a LV 99 JOB lv cap area which is accessible before you even KILL Murdaw the 2nd time for unlocking the jobs itself and even that Somnia Well that has like LV 40+ enemies in it actually requires the Paladin jobs lv 2 skill Rock Toss Gladiator Mastered or Kaboom Sage mastered to actually be able to KILL most of those well enemies in 1 turn. The hardest well enemy to kill inside that well is ironically the Scare well enemies since its immune to Thin Air Rock Toss barely does any damage and it has at least 500 HP so you would like like 4x Kaboom users in order to kill it in 1 turn or use Gigaslash by that requires to actually MASTER the Hero job in DQ6.

    Most of the bosses will have one huge exploit. Often using the sub-weapon. Like throwing ten consecutvie boomerangs at the sheephead monster will usually kill it. I remember the double-dragon headed monster can be defeated by just camping on a platform and having the two fireballs revolving around you, the head of the monster will come up to the top of the platform and take damage. It takes about 15 minutes but you can defeat it without any actual effort. Also lots of grinding.

    Not the best example for me given the fact that every single teacher I had was a cunt. Young people I kinda sympathize with because they have it even worse than we did, they have to stay on at school till 18 and then they have the trouble of finding employment which is its own battle, College just delays the inevitable, nobody is ready for the "Must have 3+ years of experience" stipulation. On top of this they're going to be used as cannon fodder in the wars lead by old men who are one day going to blow up planet earth because they are absolutely insane and young people are gonna die for nothing because of some stupid dipshits having too much fun pressing red buttons and laughing at everyone's folly as they kill everyone. I should also add that young people are actually very smart, they know a lot more than people give them credit for and they are already experiencing the things we did... and more. I don't really interact with many people my own age, they often have families with kids and are too busy to interact with, usually I tend to talk with older people more since they tend to be a lot more approachable. I don't know what it is but older people don't seem to have that aura of "why are you bothering me, leave me alone" that most adults and younger people have nowadays. Of course it's a little different online, given the fact that I have Aspergers syndrome, interacting with people my own age is basically impossible, so I tend to prefer interacting with older people because those people don't tend to make fun of you or mock you for lacking social skills. Old people don't tend to insult you or bring you down as much by comparison, probably because they're so old that they too are dealing with the awkwardness that comes from being old and having to deal with younger people replacing them, for any young person to approach them is like a boon, it makes their day to know that they are acknowledged because they are usually ignored and treated as liabilities that are waiting in line for the cemetary since they aren't relevant anymore, so they are more likely to reciprocate any form of interaction, whereas younger people and adults are more likely to push you away because they're busy, don't care what you have to say, don't want to talk to you, don't want to acknowledge you, they just want to be left alone and want you to keep out of their way. Most Adults I meet are either: 1. Accompanied with children with all their focus being on the child and want to avoid any extetnal interactions because you're disturbing their time with their kids. 2. Drunk and disorderly, ready to start throwing insults and make physical gestures of disrespect/violence (no shortage of that going on right now with all these riots, this is seemingly everybody now). 3. 100% focused, doesn't even look at you, lost in their own little world, if you try talking to them, they pretend they didn't hear you and they keep away from you, usually they're doing something like travelling to work or exercising (rarely ever see adults not accompanied with kids and not at work doing anything else these days). Maybe that's just my experiences, I dunno. Ultimately though, I do give credit to old people for actually being able to be conversed with without making some insult/snide comment at my social awkwardness/just trying to avoid me deliberately. If anything, I hate people my own age the most, I think my generation is absolutely insufferable broadly speaking. Sure there are a few exceptions, there always is but man, it's hard not to feel alienated, though I suppose that's a personal problem of mine that has grown more the older I get.

  • @GamesWithTea
    @GamesWithTea หลายเดือนก่อน

    An interesting topic, I believe that having kids definitely helps in that regard, (understanding younger kids) but really at the end of the day, it’s about reflection and being a good listener, if you can do both, you have already won half the battle. We are all different and for the most part we are slow to adapt “change” so trying to change someone’s mind or trying to follow another’s advice takes a lot of Will power and open mindedness. I personally don’t think that “Old People” are harder to deal with, they are just more resistant to change due to Mental or Physical strains that younger people may not realize. Younger people are much more adaptable but they need good guidance or else it’s harder for them to recover. Cool Topic …. And GO OLDIES 😂

    • @CynicalGamingBlogTerry309
      @CynicalGamingBlogTerry309 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Surely you can advocate that more older people need to get into videogames though, so many of them refuse to even try yet those that do end up loving it just as much as younger people do.

    It is true that TH-cam is an outlet for creation and expression for sure, it is why I am here after all but the issue lies with the general attitude of people and expectations. I think when I did my video response trashing on World Of Warcraft it really showcased just how simple-minded most people really are. Like I literally got a comment from some guy calling me autistic over my opinions and then when I brought up the purpose of the video, the guy was like "Tell me why I should give a shit about a collaboration between a channel that has 400 subscribers and a channel that has 200 subscribers". Obviously I ended up shadowbanning the guy but it really goes to show just how little people appreciate small content creators and just how low they will go to attack these creators. The harsh reality and it really is true is that outside of your friend groups, nobody gives a shit about you, not because you don't deliver value, rather because these people don't give a shit about anyone. You see, these big content creators are making throwaway content for this reason, because the majority of people on the internet do not want to engage in meaningful discourse, they just want information relating to trends and stuff. The only other way to get their attention is to deliberately provoke them with titles and thumbnails, which is why my WOW video blew up. I did it to make a point, to show everyone the reality of what being a TH-cam Content Creator is all about. Like if anything, the bulk of the negative side of TH-cam for me is that while 2000 people were willing to listen to me trash on a game they like and they went in knowing what they were getting into, only 99 people showed up for me to mostly praise a game I absolutely adore, a video I actually put work and effort into, was mostly ignored. That is when faith is lost, the whole point of being on this platform for me is to get people to listen so when people don't engage as often with certain content, it's painful to deal with and rather demoralizing. But the reality is that this is due to how the algorythm is and many other things, TH-cam just isn't the same anymore, content that would have gotten attention and views is suffocated by all of these corporate videos and this hurts smaller creators more than ever. Heck even as a viewer, I find it hard to find videos in the TH-cam search that were so easy to find years ago because it's hidden beneath all this trash content. What matters most to me more than anything is comments, which is why I try to comment on as many videos as I can because comments bring engagement, comments show that you were there and that you cared. If I didn't comment, who would even know that I even showed up? I might as well have not even bothered watching. Having no comments whatsoever is the worst case scenario for any video in my eyes. I won't lie, it's getting harder and harder to stay motivated on this platform and it's really making me question myself more and more, making me wonder if I'm even going in the right direction by doing what I do on it. Sometimes I feel like I'm drifting away even though I'm trying to keep going and working on more content. I honestly don't know the answer regarding where I want to go on this platform anymore, nothing seems to work for me now the way they used to. I feel like my channel has lost its sense of purpose, heck maybe it didn't have that to begin with, revelations in recent years ahve led me to believe this.

    • @Majora_T

      The response to your recent video was unfortunate. I could see how that would turn off a lot of people from continuing on the platform. Those knobs really showed their true colors. We've experienced a lot of that with our clips on the mappers. I have mixed feelings about it. I rarely attract that type of attention with my standalone content so it was kind of jarring at first. I'm tolerating it more and it might be good since it's opening my eyes to the vitriol out there. Idk though. We'll see where it goes. Times are a little different because it feels like TH-cam is actually pushing our content. The flip side of the coin is it exposes a lot of anger. People should calm down a bit. We're just people on the internet with thoughts and feelings, just like them.

    I agree it's been tough to make friends out in the real world lately where on here iv made some great connections I other wise never have. Also that is how I look at things when it comes to views that these people cared enough to hear what I have to say

      @@Longhalloween511 what is janky about the game? My only criticism is double tapping to run can be a pain at times but nathans control is tight and accurate, he doesnt have floaty jumps that make me feel like im controlling a spaceman. This is also the only challenging metroidvania that is also fair if you put in the time. Its also sold more than the others and was receieved quite well upon release

    Worst game ever is definitely subjective. This definitely highlights how a lot of games back then if they weren’t simple arcade style games were extremely hard to figure out without the manual, it was definitely a part of the experience. ET is often cited as the worst game of all time and one of the reasons is because it was cryptic like this and relied on needing the manual to play it properly, but it was clearly a game marketed to kids. But something like Myst is hailed as a great game when it is a very cryptic game. I suppose that at least everything you need to complete that game is in the game itself, I suppose that’s one way of looking at it, also the fact that it is targeted to an older demographic that already has familiarity with complex concepts in games.

      Cryptic works better in some games and genres. I don't hate point and click but this is a rough representation of the genre.
