Aurora Borealis is a fantastic natural fenomen, Aurora Aksnes (her real name) is a fantastic artist that does most of her songs herself (90% ish), deeply involved in ALL aspects of the music, videos and so on..... She and her sister eaven makes her clothes....
Aurora is a fantastic human, over sensitive, uniq, like a child with an 300 year old soul, caring and highly intelligent.
She don't sing her songs.... She LIVES them....
Check out Murder song from the Nobel Peace Prize!

For me she has only great songs after great (and she write the songs, and co-produce them too) :). Even her covers are so cool. i also recommend to check Lucky from the same concert. She wrote it when was 9 and finished a little later. But the subject for such a age is mind-blowing. And song is beautiful.

You defenitly should and would enjoy more of her art. For me she is one of a kind. You won't easyly find someone who is as special in so so many different aspects combined in not just the musical, artistical view but way beyond that. Especially nowadays. I hope you dive deeper into her and her greatness. Maybe sooner than later 😋 new subscriber here no doubt 😊

    Nice reaction 🤗
I’m definitely subscribing if you continue reacting to AURORA😍
Her artist name is AURORA with big letters, and her real name is Aurora Aksnes 😊
    About the song:
"Through the Eyes of a Child is one of the most important songs for me. It's about, the older you get, the more you see, and it's kind of like you miss the times when you thought everyone was nice, and that everything was nice, because it's hard to know all the darkness. Also we have lots of light, and I know that as well. But it's kind of like wanting to go back to the innocence, and see the world through the eyes of a child.” AURORA
Aurora is a Norwegian singer/songwriter/dancer and music producer.
She plays several instruments like piano, guitar, mandolin and harp (what I know of).
She’s born on the 15 of June 1996, she’s from a small place in Os outside of Bergen, and is currently living in her apartment in Bergen 😍
When she was 6 years old she found an electric piano in the attic after her older sister.
Because the power button was broken she had to play with only one hand, and she did that for years.
She began writing music without lyrics at the age of 6, and with English lyrics at the age of 9. A couple of her songs that she wrote at the age of 9 is some of her most popular songs.
They are “Lucky” and “I went too far”
Her family didn’t know about her talent until she was about 13 - 14 years old.
She’s self taught when it comes to singing and playing piano.🤩😍
The whole concert from Nidarosdomen is so beautiful
    Could you please react to:
“Lucky” live from Nidarosdomen (cathedral in Norway) 2017
She wrote this song when she was 9 years old, it’s her anti-suicide song
“Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1)” live at the Nobel Peace Prize concert 2015
    It’s about mercy killing
    “The Seed” official video
A powerful song and music video with an important message, a cry for Mother Earth
    ✌️🌍❤️

Your final thoughts were spot on. Aurora wrote a song about the previous massacre in Norway in 2011 called "The Little Boy In The Grass", as one of her childhood friends was one of the victims. That song is part of this concert. This whole Nidarosdomen concert is an artistic masterpiece (Aurora's performance, her voice and lyrics, her band, the orchestra and organist, the choir, the venue, the camera work and sound engineering). Another magical event is Aurora's HAIK concert of 2019, which was filmed in the forest near her family home where she played in her childhood.

Yeah she was actually engaged to him at 15 and would have been married at 18. That's one of 3 close people she has lost from different events.
She's been through a lot for her age and it only adds to her old soul as she has found ways to move forward with life in ways most people don't experience until they are much older.

    • @John-gv2ug
      @John-gv2ug 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@HalkerVeil Where did you come up with such a statement that I have never seen even remotely suggested in anything I have read or seen about Aurora? In all that has been written about Aurora, in all her interviews and documentaries (she has been the focus of rapidly growing attention in the last seven years) there is only mention of him being a friend, nothing about being engaged. Furthermore, being engaged at 15 half way through secondary school is ridiculous, as that is too young to make such an important life decision. Can you provide a definite quote from Aurora that this was the case? Very, very doubtful, as if this was true it would have been repeated over and over by Aurora fans over the years. You probably got sucked in by some internet speculation.

    • @HalkerVeil
      @HalkerVeil 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@John-gv2ug She said it herself in one of her many interviews. It was for a magazine in Norway. It's pretty common knowledge by now. She has also spoken about it in her live streams. I'm not here to do your homework for you. You'll find it if you dig.

@@HalkerVeil Which magazine and when? If it is so and is "common knowledge", why has, as you said, Aurora only mentioned it once and why has no one else made mention of it in the thousands of posts related to her? I did an internet search and there was nothing about an engagement but at least five entries that say Aurora has never been engaged. So, again, where specifically and exactly, not vaguely "one of her many interviews", did you get this supposed fact?

Hi Jesse, thank you for your Reaction. I think AURORA cast a spell over you too, she fascinated you.
Goosebumps and shivers all over my body - every single time I hear this song. For me this is a masterpiece. So much feeling that AURORA brings to this song. This song must mean a lot to her. And the statement is simple and a commonly known truth. And yet as adults, at least most of us, we lose sight through the eyes of a child. I wish AURORA that she never grows up in that sense. Then we will continue to get such beautiful songs from her. We need someone to keep reminding us of this simple truth.
AURORA deliberately leaves room for interpretation of her lyrics so that many people can relate them to themselves.
    - Murder song (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert - th-cam.com/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/w-d-xo.html - the saddest love song I've ever heard
    - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current) - th-cam.com/video/9U-N6LqzdIM/w-d-xo.html - it's about the rape of a woman - some say - these great harmonies
This song is different and so important to humanity:
    - The Seed (Official Video - VEVO) - th-cam.com/video/_Mc_OM5oNA8/w-d-xo.html - it's about the climat change
    Quotes from AURORA:
„Also if you don’t know what to do when you meet me. Knowing that I find hugging quite strange (even sometimes it feels nice too) but at least one thing I love, is to touch hands. It’s so pure. So never hesitate to take my hands, unless I take yours. And then if you cannot find the words to say. I will know them. Because now we are connected. Through eyes and hands.“
    Have a nice day and

Great reaction. You should react to more. She has plenty of amazing songs. Btw the green lights you were talking about, I assume you meant Aurora Boealis (The Northern lights). Between late September and late March, Northern Norway is dark from early afternoon until late morning, and the northern lights frequently soar across the sky. It’s like a celestial ballet of light dancing across the night sky, with a colour palette of green, blue, and sometimes even pink and violet. This part of Norway, with its multiple islands, deep fjords and steep mountains, is among the most beautiful and interesting places to see the northern lights in the world.
PS! The northern lights is actually created from a collision between electrically charged particles from the sun that enter the atmosphere of the earth.
