The way you guys handled that is amazing. The fire alarm went off, and instead of the teacher yelling at the kids to get in line, everyone got up and exited calmly and quickly. Well done.
Happened to me in Elementary school. Once in 1st grade; as soon as the teacher started taking attendance, alarm went off. During an assembly in 3rd grade, it delayed, then went off. We had bells at the time
i always ask my 1st and 4th period teacher if we have a fire drill because it always happends between those times, And on 4th period she said, Oh ya we are, and i cover my ears the whole period until the alarm went off
My high school used to love to do fire drills first thing in the morning. Basically, get in, take attendance, morning announcements, fire drill. Boom, boom, boom, boom.
I'm like the dude filming this! I just plug my ears until the alarm starts going off, than I'm fine, I like these alarms that just continuously beep, and don't beep every second.
Technicalboy3000 Yeah! Every school in our district got a Notifier upgrade and and have P2R Advances (except the High School that kept most NSs, MTs and RSSs and added HSR and STR Exceders), however most of the classrooms actually have SR strobes!
Since I was little, I was scared of fire drills, so I cover my ears before the drill. Also, when I went to my therapist about that, she told me not to cover my ears because I’ll never know when will the fire alarm will go off (unless if my teacher tells me the time) so my therapist said that it’s better to cover my ears during the drill instead of before. I started to overcome my fear in 6th grade and I wasn’t scared anymore.
Same with me too When I was a little kid in the early 2000s back in the day I didn't really like the loud noise of fire alarms either I didn't really like the bright flashing lights either
When I was in elementary school, I was told to _never_ cover my ears. What terrible advice that was... I don't think I'll ever get over my fire alarm anxiety, but thankfully I have accommodations at my work place.
@@HeadsetGuy I got old school mechanical horns 9838 9840 9219 7002t and they are not loud because I am used to it because of the train and being near them

I only do that when I don't know if the lights will blink before the alarm goes off but if I know the lights will blink before the alarm goes off then I'm not scared
My axiety was so bad for fire drills I spent the first 2 years of high school outside before the alarm went off, I spent the other 2 years in the Student Success room blasting music til the alarm went off. Thankfully the door would be closed so the noise of the alarm would be gradual.

The other high school is Hamilton Southeastern and over there, their alarms are set for a code 3 tone and don’t have that recorded pledge😂 I also attended this school for 2 years
I don't know why, but when I was in first grade we were doing a test and I predicted we would have a fire drill in a couple minutes and I was right! The school I go to never tells us what day we will have a fire drill😤
@estheriah same, I moved school and it's better! Because they have speakers in every room and if they announce something, then 2 bleeps and someone is talking for like 5 seconds.
Our school fails at surprise if us with fire drills, hearing the keys make all of that noise going into the pull station makes it very predictable and at the 1st day of 6th grade for me, they accidentally tripped the fire alarms 30 minuets before the planned drill XD
In elementary school they got 4903 9102s and 9838s on march time 90 bpm and they announce it and my teacher told me when it going happen the day before or a few mins and i had to go out before the drills but i miss the system alot
At my school when we have a fire drill, they usually just announce on the intercom saying "This is a fire drill. Please evacuate to your fire drill locations." And lately they just announce it they don't set off the fire alarms which is fine by me but it's odd. And I've asked a few teachers at my school why they do that and they said, well first let me say that my school has different buildings like a 100, 200, 500, and 600 buildings. And the alarms are nit interconnected. So if you pull the alarm in the 100 building they will only sound in the 100 building. No where else. Backtracking to me asking a few teachers. Anyway they told me that the only way to get all the alarms to go off at the same time in every building is to set them up to go off at a certain time and it's through a computer. When it gets to that time they should all sound. However since my school was built in 1964 the system that should make all the alarms sound doesn't work well at times and sometimes the alarms sound in some buildings but not in others so I think they've decided to just make an announcement over the intercom rather than trying to get all of the alarms to sound.
In my school the principal says “Any student or faculty member that requires the use of an elevator, Please report to the main entrance now” like 9 or 10 minutes before the fire drill or evacuation but for me evacuation drills are twice a year
@Nick Giacometti honestly yes its annoying but i feel like its still necessary to have them once a month knowing that fires spread easily and fire drills are a legal requirement for not just schools but all businesses, for example the september 11 2001 attacks they had drills before the tragic day and when the first plane hit, almost everybody in the other building evacuated and people in the same building that got hit also evacuated but mainly those in the lower floors
Back in my elementary school years we have Simplex QuickAlerts and they would always used to scare the shit out of me and sound exactly on this video set continuous all horn strobes except smaller rooms which have strobes. What sucks is they don’t tell us when the drill will active and we would have these drills like 4 times the year.
Our alarm was bells in a code 5 signal. We never knew when we were going to have a fire drill; they just happened. We had to leave in single file lines, no talking, walk quickly but don't run.

@@dubidubes My school days were way before the era of mass school shootings, and other such catastrophes. These days, I can see why there's a need to pre-announce any kind of emergency drill. For fire drills at my middle school, they don’t even set the alarm off. They just make an announcement over the intercom “Attention students and staff. Attention students and staff. We are conducting a fire drill. Evacuate. Evacuate.” Or something like that and it pisses me off because I’ve never heard the alarms at the school and I only have 1 year left of school there after I finish this school year. Anyone know why they don’t set off the alarms? Also, there are 2 kids with Down Syndrome and 1 almost fully mute kid that can only say “mommy”, “meow”, and “cat”. Not sure if that’s what’s preventing them from activating the system, and I don’t see why they couldn’t activate it even if that is the cause.
i plug my ears and they never tell us so every last day of the month i plug my ears. they promised we wouldn’t have anymore since ours sounds like the purge.
It looks like there might be a typo here not all high school fire alarms are too loud there are schools in USA of all elementary middle and high schools that have quieter fire alarm systems
this is like my school in a lot of ways the classrooms have the exit sign above the doors they do the pledge over the intercom the mascot of the school is tigers the classrooms look similar they have the flag in the same spot the fire alarm is next to the door, except the ones at my school are edwards integrities, and they are on the wall instead of right next to the doors, and they are on code 3 the clocks are in the same place they have a big board and a projector screen the hallways kind of looks the same, but the ones at my school are wider and the ceiling is higher, and there are 2 lights right next to each other

@@kevinsvlogs8898 Oh my goodness that horn strobe should be turned down to low volume or if it's already on it's lowest volume or if not on lowest volume even lowest volume is too much or volume is unchangeable then repl;ace it with another alarm if want horn strobe then maybe system sensor L-series or newer Spectrealert advance on low volume if on high still remains brutal low volume not brutal at all maybe even just as quiet as speaker strobe fire alarms or even quieter
My high school i went to is so big that each wings of the building where bathrooms and classrooms are have different tones from code 3 to continuous match time etc and also the main halls same thing
In our school we dont have any drills even if it has been year
School: is burning
Teacher: 👁☕️👁
When i had my 6th fire drill i was scared because it was i did not expect it to be on a monday
My friends school has a Cineplex fire alarm system, which is the exact one in the video, but that one is a speaker strobe and not a horn strobe but the do not use the elevators is cut out because there are no elevators at that school.
Today at 1:15 during my ela class, I was watching YT and then a fire drill starts, I knew it was gonna happen but not at that time. Sice there was just a strobe in the classroom, I did not cover my ears, but when it went off, as soon as a student opens the door, I cover my ears.
The Simplex Truealert been replaced by the Spectalert fire alarms.

I get to use headphones. My alarm is a Edwards integrity on continuous. It’s so loud and annoying
my residential treatment center in chicago has these alarms. on steady tone with automatic locking of the main doors and unlocking the fire doors. tied into a Notifier NFS-320 system
Your teacher sounds like my 4th grade teacher 😂😂😂lol
My classroom has the fire alarm with the horn same with the other classes
I always do that when the fire alarm starts, I always think I'm the only one lol
I can relate...
Caroline UWU! Same
I can relate
Caroline UWU! Me to lol
Same here.
0:56 Is where the fire alarm went off
Some fire alarms will strobe for 20 seconds to give a all clear signal after the alarm shuts off.
Talkbox: Mike Accard my school had a bell tone when we did our fire drill
In my school they don't tell us when there is a fire drill the just push the alarm like hell yeah. We had the fire alarm go of in a non drill today because
someone burnt something in a microwave
Most schools don't tell because if it happened in real life nobody except god would know
Omq Frisky that’s a childish answer
Most of the buildings in my university don't have any fire alarm inside the classrooms but horn or speaker strobes in the hallways & remote strobes in the bathrooms except for the 6 story buildings which have speaker strobes in the bathrooms
Hopefully in those 6 story building's speaker strobes in bathroom are not too loud or speaker is disabeled
The guy over the annoucments sounds like the simplex default voice evac guy
Still those alarms are wicked loud
I’m in the west Seneca NY district and they’re adding new fire alarms to my high school and note they didn’t finish putting all alarms in yet there was a couple in like for example the band room the chorus room the main office and the bathrooms and those are loud as fuck
I do the same thing you do, cover my ears
I have the biggest fear of these I freak out every month and stress so much thinking when, why, and how its going to happen that I liget have a panic attack thinking of it
The lack of leadership of that teacher she should be fired
At my school when the fire alarm sounds the fire doors close the HVAC system is turned off and the exit signs flash at the exits and the HVAC is heating air conditioning and ventilation system
Your school has my favorite alarm, even though it is LOUD as in LLLOOOUUUDDD
Never heard a Truealert in Continuous. My school's alarms are Truealerts in Code 3.
SuperMarioJustin4 mine to
SuperMarioJustin4 the truealerts in my school are in continuous. Also 8 classrooms have truealert horn strobes
Mine to
Geez, Simplex TrueAlerts on Continuous? That must be so brutal! But not as brutal as Simplex 4040s!
That's what my old school was like. It was hell
Imagine having spectralert advance on continuous
@@catsgame9282 I think it'd be just as bad as TrueAlerts on Continuous!
I love the 4040s. I purchased one for myself online. Now I have it connected to my alarm clock to wake me up at 6:30am.
You are lucky that you just have a strobe in your room in my class there is a horn strobe (wheelock as) in my class and even a pullstation! It's so annoying⚠️⚠️⚠️
Bridgot Loesch i hate them because of their high pitched sound omg
My school has a light (in 1 wing though there real loud and I almost peed my pants it scared me
I have a spectralert Advance horn strobe in my classes
Donovan Alvarado I have simplex truealert horn strobe and a simplex t-bar the classroom I go
In my school they have Wheelock ZNS horn strobes in the classrooms and the restrooms (Yes, The restrooms have horn strobes, I'm not kidding).
Yes these fire alarm is very loud and annoying
Simplex TrueAlerts on continuous.
(Fire alarm goes off) Teacher: (sips coffee) never have a enough time to teach. because of stuff like this Students: why is our teacher so crabby right now?
They need 4903 9102s with 9838s or mechanical horns they are way louder and they get your attention more
on who turned on the fire drill
bomb monsters of doom SLIME GAMER OF DEATH, probably a school administrator like a Principal or Janitors, or firefighters and fire chiefs if their district mandates the fire department to come to any school in the district to manage fire drills.
i missed when my school told us there was a fire drill beforehand because now we dont get a warning and the wheelock mt goes off on continuous
0:37 How'd you know that there was going to be a fire drill?
firealarmveteran15 some students with disabilities get told early by the principal
I know that because A KID IN MY CLASS DOES
Believe it or not but no one even has to tell me that their will be a fire drill! I just know🤔
Same with my school they use radios to talk to each other so when I hear the principal say we’re ready to the janitor I plug my ears
Sometimes, they tell you
That sucks that the alarms are set on continuous.
The Purge announcement creeps me out! I'm scared now!!!😨😨😨😨
My fire drill is code green when there is a lock down the fire alarm still goes off but its code red.
This is why I hate fire drills
I hate them I'm hearing impaired and it makes it worse for me
GLMXMusicStudio/GLMXCascadeGaming 2016 oh wait I am 10 why am I watching this if I am 10? Nvm
GoAnimate Channel Network yea that sucks about school
The Freddy Channel me too
Yea They Can Be Annoying, But On The Bright Side You Get To Get Out Of Class And Get Some Fresh Air!
i wish my school did fire drills every month, we only do them every semester
0:55 lol the kid in the back
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME"
That's the simplex 4100ES/U Voice from the voice evacuation message
Those are in are main gym and Auditorium
This takes along time oh nvm
My class has no alarm. The alarms are in the hallway and they are old Exeder alarms
That fire alarm is continuous means keeps sounding without a stop
Thankfully there was a strobe in the classroom
That thing is so damn loud! I was covering my ears.
The thing I've learned is that when you're outside with headphones, the fire alarm will make a little beep.
Uh I wear headphones when there is a fire drill
The intercom literally uses James TTS voice not the principal/staff
Another example of how now one takes them seriously, until a real emergency happens, and they don't know what to do.
No matter what playback speed it is the fire alarm sounds the same
High School alarms are much louder than Middle School alarms as I can tell
It looks like there might be a typo here not all high school fire alarms are too loud there are schools in USA of all elementary middle and high schools that have quieter fire alarm systems
this is like my school in a lot of ways
the classrooms have the exit sign above the doors
they do the pledge over the intercom
the mascot of the school is tigers
the classrooms look similar
they have the flag in the same spot
the fire alarm is next to the door, except the ones at my school are edwards integrities, and they are on the wall instead of right next to the doors, and they are on code 3
the clocks are in the same place
they have a big board and a projector screen
the hallways kind of looks the same, but the ones at my school are wider and the ceiling is higher, and there are 2 lights right next to each other
Does it hurt when you get your fingers out of your ear and get wax on your fingers
I’ve never gotten any ear wax on my fingers
Sometimes my friends scare me by making me think that they are going to pull the fire alarm
Bridgot Loesch in first grade, these 3 girls pretended to mess with the fire alarm when we were lined up to go back to our classroom. They did it to get a reaction out of me and they kept looking at me while doing it.
Lol one time in elementary school a girl named Sophia literally put her hand on the pull station looking like she was going to pull the fire alarm and it scared me but she didn't do it.
OMG that is a loud fire alarm... Everybody are downstairs or not. Testing the fire drill. How did the fire alarm got stopped and the light is still dark.... I heard a click. I am nervous. They are back. LOL
Benhur Bulatao both floors fire alarms go off. 2nd floors fire alarm goes off first than the 1st goes off
