Orisa ain’t so bad now as most just spam cool-downs. I only pick orisa personally if I have a playstyle somewhat in mind. Sig also is a decent counter imo to mauga
@@MKO-zq1dxya at least with orisa you could play against it mauga has little to no falloff decent peel with his poke and rush a life steal so he’s just a pain orisa can just increase her life not just not die
The only time I had a perfect counter against Mauga is to just get rid of him from the fight. In a match on Oasis, I lost the first round because they used Mauga, the second happened to be set in the university area, so I just kept hooking the Mauga into the middle section and let my team handle the Mauga's team. To say that the Mauga was angry is an understatement, not after he tried ulting and I kept him against the wall with Wholehog.
Some could say it’s quiet tantalizing gameplay and if your feeling a bit frivolous you could go as far as saying the gameplay is very appealing to the senses in the context of sight and hearing which makes an exquisite sight for the ages wouldn’t you agree ?

Center of mass around the chest area of the characters seems to work very well with Mauga imo. I guess headshots could be worth it if you were about point blank.
I'm sorry that Mauga is viewed so badly by the entire community. I don't use him to win, but because I've always adored and loved miniguns, and now that a hero with miniguns has finally come out I simply fell in love with this character. It's certainly very strong, but I think the only thing to deny is the Damage, the rest is fine.

They need to either add the other tank and balance him, or remake his dynamic with his abilties. Id love for a tank to have 2 machine guns that can dive at the very least, cmon blizz, give him some options with his kit like winton has options.
Aiming at center mass guarantees headshots with firing both mini guns + criting the body. Just go for body shots if ppl are trying to shoot the head as Mauga just stop playing the game lol
How do y'all think Mauga should be changed to fix the whole "only Mauga counters Mauga" problem? Gun changes? Ability changes? I honestly think of they do the Blizzard thing and change something by like 5%, nothing will change.
They stated that they will nerf him into a "safe side of not strong" state, meaning he'll be trash, basically. He's gonna be at the same state as pre-rework Hog, probably. I foresee that they'll end up reworking him eventually. For fixing him, I think his guns should have entirely different uses, ie. One gun is purely for offense with a very low spread, and the other for defense with much lower damage than the other gun (maybe half) but a heftier defensive bonus. This is so instead of both guns doing both things at the same time. The ability to fire both guns would give slightly better offense but slightly worse defense. I also think he needs a way to protect himself other than even MORE self-heal through Cardiac Overdrive, cause that's what puts him in a state where, if he's good it is bc he's busted, but if he's not busted he's just trash. Maybe change COd so so he stores some of the Overhealth generated through his defense gun, which he can then activate to gain the burst of stored Overhealth similar to Ball.
Blizzard boosted a lot of players by giving them mauga, but they don't have enough skill level so they got absolutely destroyed if you mirror them. And of course they will fall into their elo when mauga will finally get nerfed.
I really really hope the devs take this mauga meta as a real reason to nerf ana, ana is literally the deciding factor of this character and a few others shes still single handedly the best character in the game and i really really hope that they look at her a little bit more yes anti heal is great and all but it waa better in ow 1 in ow 2 where the game is supposed to be "fast paced" it completely shuts that down and makes you wait for ages
if you were a mauga main i would never watch your channel. hes the most boring tank to watch. now your roadhog gameplay never gets old. and is actually a tank that takes skill to play
A tank with the dps of a bastion if not more... zero skill hero with piss pour design and no originality and that's all they've been coming out with. Between the new garbage heroes and the battle pass is the reason why overwatch is a dying game.

Mauga is just the new orisa before Mauga was added in the game, the “I need to win” swap, counters almost everything and pretty much has no counters.
