Hit attacker so hard his ancestor's teeth rattle. 3. Don't hang around unless you have to. He may have friends.
This is great advice. A police officer when I was a kid put it to me like this: if someone is charging you with a bat, they have already initiated the fight, doesn't matter who strikes first at that point, just make sure you defend your life. This was a good message for making sure people keep their distance, keep yourself safe. God bless

I had tried to diplomatically get him out of my face for a good 20 minutes, but he got angrier and angrier. Roid rage. I felt I had no choice. Frankly speaking, when you preemptively defend yourself, you’re in felony territory. Your vids are fantastic. I was always taught to preempt. But we’re now in the Kafka-esque PC world where blaming the victim is standard practice. So be careful out there, Kids!

I recently had this happen. I have taken karate before and I knew exactly what I was going to do how ever had I done two elbows on him then he would have called the police. Getting in someones face is a tricky deal with the law if you make the first hit.
My consequences of failing to heed this advice was a 3 day stay in the hospital- broken cheek bone- upper jaw cracked- chipped sinus bone-and a little brain swelling. No recollection of the punch. When I woke I thought I was involved in a car crash. All the damage was done not by the punch but by a granite curb. sent me to another zip code. Thank GOD the front of my face made the impact instead of the back of my Casaba melon or I may not be here typing this right now. Could have been Dead on Impact or a Vegetable w/ all kinds of tubes connected to my body. When I was the giver of punishment he received 37 stitches to attach his upper lip. Had to be put under at Mass General. I am not proud of what I did. Perhaps I overreacted. Perhaps a Pimp Slap would have sufficed. That was a work place incident over 20+ Yrs ago That was also after I had my hospital jaunt swore I would never allow someone into my sphere of influence without acting.I also witness this type of punch out many times while working at a county lock up. He who hits firstest is usually the winner.Live and Learn.When in Doubt Knock Em Out.And like the Pitmaster says Hit like a Freight Train.

I watch this gents videos fairly often. The concern I have here is this. 1. The fights I have witnessed often end up with a broken finger or thumb - should We punch? 2. Someone will approach as a threat partly because they have some reason to believe they can beat you (bigger, stronger, faster) so If you find it necessary to fight you need to think eyes, throat, groin.

To make your videos more interesting you should show the technique like 5 times in a row really fast like edited together. Then do a talk and then demonstrate the technique slow. Then sow it like 5 or so times fast again and close out the video.

If you showed an example then did the talk then close out showing it again people would be willing to watch the entire video. That is what I mean.
