I was a fentanyl addict for 2 years. Been on opiates for like 10. I'm not sober 100% I still have my vices. But I'm not longer in the throws of addiction. I definitely am happy to be clear headed and not fix hopping. To anyone struggling, it IS possible. You may be running/hiding from your own past or problems, but I promise it causes more pain in the ones that care about you. I watched everyone I love slowly give up on me. And that hurt more than any withdrawal or detox ever could. You're loved and even if you don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, keep looking for it. Nothing is lost forever. Best of luck to those of you still battling :)

Hey Brandon! Just wondering: Did they ask you to join in on Jackass 4? Would you have liked to be part of it? Or are the Jackass days behind you? Greetings from the Netherlands!

I bought your first book when it first came out. And then later I listened to the majority of Sirius radio episodes and yeah I remember joe franz getting frustrated as your co author trying to make your thoughts make more sense in a book or explanations because apparently there were some parts where you would apparently write "and you know the rest". Glad to hear the second book came a lot easier. I think I heard about the second book but never got a chance to read it. You ever do audiobooks of them? I have a harder time reading books with kids around.

I’m glad for this dude, and I love how he’s helping Bam with his sobriety. But in my experience, working in treatment can only last so long until you relapse or become addicted to money and start sacrificing your values. I worked in treatment on and off altogether for 5 years and I could never stay clean. I also was hospitalized for exhaustion, because they worked me so hard at first. I got out, now I’ve been clean for 6 years. Just saying. Also, if you’re still on methadone or Suboxone and it’s working for you then don’t feel bad about it or like you’re not actually sober. Methadone especially has a bad rap but it still saves lives every day. Kept me off the street and off heroin for years until I was able to wean off. Screw everyone and their ignorant negativity; taking a Rx every morning that doesn’t get you high is a lot better than shooting dope. Most things in life aren’t ideal, but you work with what you’ve got and try to improve upon that when you’re ready. Otherwise keep up the sobriety and you best be helping people for real.
