This is absolutely the best video on creating a plying bracelet. I had been extremely frustrated by many others who came CLOSE, but NOT clear! Yours is beautiful and easy. Thank you! Note: I was not able to skip the bra ad, and it went on forever, and even when done I could not access the second half of your video. I will try another day. I just wanted you to know in case it was something at your end. Could be my end. I will definitely check out your other videos.
Great video, you made it so easy to follow and explained things in detail - definitely the best video for a plying bracelet I've seen so far - thank you 😊
I wish I could give this little video 100 likes. I've tried to make a plying bracelet on numerous occasions with my my yarn inevitably knotting and and tangling and ending up looking like something my cat has dragged in.... But (drum roll needed for sure) I have just successfully made and then spun the leftovers of a beautiful green Kent Romney from a bracelet using your clear instructions. I love that you show what to do so nice and slowly, then speed up and then slow down again...Thank you so much xx
Katie, your method of ply bracelet is simply brilliant. I’ve learned other methods and can never remember the winding sequence since I only use on rare occasions. This way I’m sure will stick in my brain! Thank you. Thank you
Thank you for this wonderful clear video! I am having trouble learning to start with a leader on my Ashford Electric Jumbo wheel. Please can you show how to start from leader to first fluffy bit yo attach? Seems like everyone says how simple it is but no for me! I am left handed too and not sure what hand to start with. Seems your front hand is your left hand? Do you think this is just a natural thing to go with what feel best? Thanks for any help. I want to make chunky art yarn to make bags.
This video on attaching a leader to your bobbin might be helpful, because that's the first step to making a good join. It creates a loop, which you can then poke some fibre through to make a better join between your leader and your singles. th-cam.com/video/F62kO3qbfLw/w-d-xo.html It doesn't matter which hand you use, just go with what feels most natural.

I'm so glad you found it helpful! It's great technique, but one that is very easy to overcomplicate.
I love your pace and the angles/close ups. Great demo

Oooohhhh this seems really useful for drop spindle spinning too.
Amazing, thank you so much! That was very clear and to the point 😊 I'll be trying that.
Thanks for sharing 🙏💙
Thank you for a really clear tutorial :)

I like this video very much! The simplicity is encouraging. May I ask what kind of spinning wheel that is? Thank you!
