Thanks for taking us all along during this fishing season, interesting to see what goes on day to day while you're out fishing. Enjoy your time off. 💪💪💪💪
Just being able to vlog as a commercial fisher makes this one of the most unique content on youtube. Gonna have to set you on alerts just so I dont accidentally miss if you vlog next seasons. The way you currently have done the vlogs for this season I like, the kind of biweekly schedule works well. Hope Christian is good for a next season because he'll definitely be a great peer, but it is definitely understandable if he's not down for a round 2, good on him for making it a season. And congrats on the season
I do commercial fishing and there’s a whole lot he doesn’t show. I haven’t been in a dragger but I’ve been in a king crab boat. I’d like to get on a dragger seems more chill
How do you get a job like this with virtually zero experience? I'm 20 and this type of solitude & tunnel-vision on work / comradery + the conditions (thick and thin) are exactly the sort of thing I never knew I was looking for. Located in Florida, Sarasota county.
How can I get to work on one of these boats? I come from South Africa and have an EU passport. But who can I talk to about getting me there and giving me work or a chance to work on one of these boats?? Could you possibly assist in any way??
Super cool

What set up do you have to record your videos? The sound is really good even with the engines going in the background
These videos make this job seem cool but I’m sure there’s a lot more to the story then these videos that we don’t see

Yes just hope he sees this and fixes it. I would also love to see a unload. Like bro go get cameras and let's us watch. 🎉🎉🎉❤
@@bobbymiller9932 they use a very powerful vacuum to suck all the fish out.
It makes it seem alot easier than the crab boats. But it's still a dangerous job.
If you havn't considered picking up a drone for the next fishing season, please consider it! could get some amazing shots of the boat :)
Great 👍

How old do you have to be to pilot a vessel like this and do you need extensive training?
Does the fierce allegiance still go for red crab?
Need a video of unloading

I’m very curious about how you target these fish and catch only them. What happens if something else gets in the net? Do you sort it out later?
Same
How do you get into a job like this
I wish I knew how to swim
How can I get to work on one of these boats?
I come from South Africa and have an EU passport.

Yeah!
I'm trying to understand what type of fishing you do. Do you drag the bottom?
