I honestly think some of the jeans that are too long are worth tailoring the bottoms. The Zara dark flares look fantastic on you.

I’m 5ft2 and have found the best denim from Acne Studios (they do different leg lengths) and Mother Denim (the ankle crop!).
To prevent blacks from fading: turn inside out, wash in cool water with Perwoll Black Magic (now called something like 3D dark), hang or lay flat to dry. The friction from tumble drying fades dyes, too.
Honestly I actually preferred most of them rolled down on you! They looked really flattering!

I'm always tempted to buy Zara jeans but they always disappoint me. I'm 5'1, with wider hips and a small waist, and they just don't work with my shape/height.

Oh same! Zara seem to assume people don’t go out then in. If it fits my bum/legs it will be 4 inches too big at my waist.

I went to Zara and they had the nicest looking wide leg, flare, straight, boot cuts with slits but they were all made for like giants. I’m 5’6. Unless your like 6 feet Or above I can’t imagine those styles fit anyone lol. Wish they could do S, R, L sizes so we can all be happy 😊 lol

Those zara denim shorts are my favourite!! They are the perfect pair of undistressed denim shorts that aren't too short or tight. Such a flattering cut & they don't really stretch too, so they're amazing to wear as they don't sag after a couple of wears/washes 😍
Use black fabric dye to deepen the black of those jeans, if you want. I use it also for black items that have faded.
Black mid rise jeans with Gucci loafers are perfect on you and with the loafers. A great stable .... and rinse of the jean.
you can cut any of them with the raw edge hems. I am 5'3" and have problems with lengths as well. I think they all look good on you.
For the black jeans, I have re-dyed some pairs using one of those washing machine clothing dyes, worked perfectly!

Zara need to start doing leg lengths, as a tall girl I dont even bother trying to get jeans here. so annoying as the style and price are good.
lol what almost all the pants i've gotten have been super long. they even have "extra long" lenghts but no petite range. you can def find stuff

I've just ordered the black wide leg jeans and im 5ft 9 - hoping they're made for taller gals like me! It is nice to have jeans that are long because I always find I have to settle for ankle grazers which isnt always the look i want. Maybe they just thought they'd cater to longer bois. I'm always so jealous of my shorter friends with jeans

@@jessyeliza Hi Jessy! Sorry this is a late reply but I'm happy to help :) I'm 5ft 9, waist 27", hips around 32 (i have quite a straight build from the front). I'm usually a 8/10 on my bottom half and an 8 on my top half. The jean I got in the end were the size 10/EU38/USA06 and they fit with a little space in the mornings and perfectly later on into the day! Hope this helps!
Hi ! You could take to the tailor the jeans that are too long, even your old ones that are too big. Mass production jeans are going to be too long to be able to fit a variety of people with different heights.

I love the classic (dark) indigo color. They fade naturally, with wear.

I just cut the wide leg jeans from Zara with scissors, they are super long on me as well😅 I personally like that raw hem style, but I know that's not for everybody! Great vid as always
Just got them in yesterday and same same. even the knee rips are low lol. I still love them, though and for the price- yeah I'll just cut them. I also extended the slits...was super easy to just rip em

Yes, the mid-rise black ones look great, but try them with a contrasting top, see if you still like them.

I just bought 3 pairs of zara jeans. The slim flares were about 7 inches too long for me so I’m not even bothering cutting them, because I’d lose so much fabric they wouldn’t even be flares anymore. I’ve got 2 mom fit jeans on the way. Fingers crossed they work because I currently hate all the mom jeans I have lol

Suzie, just a tip. I just bought a wide-leg high-rise CROPPED and Im 175cm tall so in general all cropped styles look ridiculous on me. But you are short so maybe this style of wide legs will fit you;)
I just ordered three pairs of 100% cotton jeans from H&M. The reviews said they ran small, so I sized up. They were still so tight, I had to size up again. I think they’re overcompensating for the new baggier styles by making the waists really tight. I hope they get their sizing straightened out.

I brought a pair of the Zara wide leg jeans this week and I’m having to cut them down! I’m 5’7 and I need to remove about 2 inches! I do recommend their denim Bermuda shorts though, ridiculously comfortable!

I can recommend the Zara hi rise straight leg jeans in ecru Ecru | 4365/034 (they come in other colours) really nice structured denim and short girl friendly x
All the Zara jeans that are too long if you notice they all have a raw helm so u can cut them to size I think they jus come long so there fore the length is universal

Zara runs small! I’m usually a size 10 everywhere and I always get a size 12 on Zara.

I can‘t believe some of these jeans were too long for you! I tried on some of the Zara jeans and they ended at the middle of my calves😂 I‘m a 36 leg length and I also hate jeans shopping! But I have to make a big try on order online or I will only have one light and one black par of jeans after lockdown 😅

@@SuzieBonaldi dry cleaners do it really cheaply and some shops also offer the service, sometimes it's worth considering if you find something that fits great apart from the length x
You really can't take flared jeans up if you are petite. You pretty much lose all of the flare. Speaking from experience here!

No 3 were my fave! Also, are they called comfort ankle so they don't hurt your ankles when tucked into boots? I hate rigid jeans for that reason.

Because I have such a big bum, those black wide legs fit well at the crutch, because the excess fabric is absorbed by the bum. I'm 5'4 and got a sewing machine long ago for hemming pants. This was such a good video, I have at least 2 that I'm putting on my list. You're looking great!

I’m too tall for the ‘tall’ section in stores that offer it, usually based on 5ft9 & over. ASOS 38” legs are the only option for me, but shipping to AUS is crazy expensive & returning items is difficult🤦🏼♀️

As a 5'2 girl, almost all Zara jeans/trousers are too long for me! The only ones that didn't look ridiculous on me were the slouchy ones.
