Well, this threading system for bot the top and bottom threads is way better than the clumsy and error prone of the B 8xx series that I hate so much. Bravo Bernina!!!!!

Hi there, thanks for your positive feedback. We're happy that you like the threading system. The BERNINA 990 uses the same hook system as the machines in the BERNINA 4, 5 and 7 series: the tried-and-tested BERNINA hook with jumbo bobbin.

Can you please have a video showing how to thread and sew using a large cone e.g. an Aurifil large cone. That would be very helpful, thanks.

Thanks for your feedback we will consider this in future videos. In the meantime for larger cones you thread just as we show in this video with the addition of the included spool stabilizer, which came with your machine, under the cone.
