@@Seki1987 Ajvar is good, but it's not a sauce. The pepper sauce they talk about is completely different, and besides red peppers, has nothing in common with the condiment. The sauce is creamy and rich in flavour, very unique taste. You should try it.

For anybody interested, add a few Calabrian chilies and a few ounces of pecorino to the sauce which completes the recipe from his full video without the sausage; it’s not overkill at all the Calabrian chilies give that mouth-numbing feel that just makes it incredible!

I have a lot of pasta in my repertoire and since we have found this my wife says it’s the best one and it gets requested once a week. If you haven’t made it, put it on the short list. Techniques are super approachable and the result is stunning. Not too mention the left overs are bomb. My only suggestion is our preferred pasta shape for this sauce is SFOGLINI Cascatelli. Lots of toothy-ness and has ridges to pick up the sauce.

I made a vodka sauce pasta for my soon to be in laws at the time and they were shocked a man could cook and they said, "you're a firefighter, where did you learn this?", lol we cook most of meals at the firehouse and I learned how to cook pretty well, especially for a large group of people
I do this all the time, instead I roast the onion and garlic with the peppers, add a handful of chopped cherry tomatoes to the roast. Won't lie, his preparation looks better, but good none the less
I love this roasted red pepper sauce - I made a big batch and I mean BIG, a whole bushel of red peppers - massive pot of sauce and then I freeze dried it for long term preservation. Now I can head on camping trips into the great wilderness and still have a 5 🌟 meal!

Why cream - and why vodka? Next time try to use one pan only for the sauce. Cook the sausages, then add the onion and pepper. When all is cooked add the pasta (al dente!!!) And sautee all together.
Even though istart many a pasta with red paprika,red onion and red peper,simular to this, the blender and taking apart of the sausage was not wat i was looking forward to halveway through😂😂😂
Cook the meat first, then add the veggies to that fat. Ya'll are watching the goofiest cooks. Roasts peppers, over scrapes them, adds to a stir fry and turns them to mush, then blends. Dio mio, get me outta here

It's a bit slower than the other ones but I think that's a good thing- a lot of these super fast ones are straight up confusing and make my head hurt.

Im from nothern europe ( think Scandinavia) we don't have Italian sausage in our meat or deli isles, so what exactly is it?
I love roasted red peppers for sauces, been doing it for years. My favourite pepper for it is a spanish variety called piquillo pepper, delicious.
