An app, yes, absolutely.
Did 3 small mountains in N. Ireland today and got off track a few times, so easy to get back on.

Fit Crunch bars are my favorite, but I wouldn't bring any bars with a 'chocolate' coating because they're going to melt and be very messy (unless, of course, it's cool out). Instead, I would suggest packing something like RxBars, Luna bars or even OG Quest (as long as they're not coated; some are).

That's such a good point. I struggle so much with the taste and texture of RX & Luna's. So, I struggle through the melted chocolate like a crazy person. LOL! Good point though, definitely not a good fit for everyone!

I know this video was for a day pack, but I am wondering why you did not have any kind of knife, saw, ax or multi tool and why you do not have a cooking type stove?
