Yeah I’ve been feeling that exact same way. I’m also enjoying seeing more of her self. Before she would tell us a story of sorts when something happened, like a break down, but we wouldn’t have seen it. In this video though, she showed it. It is not something I enjoy in the sense of entertainment, that would be highly wrong of me- in all honesty I don’t know how to put it into words, but her vulnerability is heart warning. As she continues to grow many things will change, as in all our lives. As a 17 year old teen, I see her as an inspiration to get better, no- she is not a motivational channel, but I treat it as such. Seeing Emma not be perfect allows me to cope with my imperfections and know it is okay to not know everything or be, well, imperfect. Emma, if you ever stumble across this comment, for a starter: I love you. No, we don’t know each other, but I in a sense care about you, weird. it’s even worse when you think about how, during that time, people were laughing at shane dawson’s jokes about his bad hygiene. but for emma it was different.
@@PatsliTV in around 2018/19, making fun of emma’s hygiene was a huge trend. a lot of drama channels, and people in general, would make fun of emma for appearing unhygienic. at the same time, people were supporting another youtuber who’s hygiene was arguably worse (shane dawson). it was very hypocritical of people to do that.

I ADORE that you talk about tonsil stones, piercing bumps (keloids) etc. You have no idea how refreshing it is to hear someone like you/an influencer acknowledge that they have the same issues as me, it makes me feel so much more normal and less alone. Thank you

As a single 30-year-old woman who lives alone, I cannot express ENOUGH how important it is that you are showing (to a LARGE young female audience) the value of independence and doing things by yourself! Love you so much Emma 💕
Emma used to talk a lot in her past videos. Now you just see her doing things in silence, but weirdly you kinda know what she’s thinking and feeling. I’m getting to like this new format 🤍
ever since emma started editing again, the videos are so much more comforting. idk why people say “it’s sad” or “depressing.” for me, it’s familiar. maybe a hint of melancholy, but it’s soothing and nice to know i’m not the only one going through some shit. if you listen to her podcast, you know she has friends and she sees them. she just chooses to keep that part of her life private now, and that’s okay. idk i feel very connected to emma this way. so raw, and oddly healing.
Calm down, doctor's have their own specialist, the first doctor might be just a regular doctor, but the second doctor definitely and ETN (ear, throat, nose) specialist doctor so they know it.
seeing emma cry was heartbroken to me. i found her and this channel over quarentine but i already feel so comfortable here, also, her saying "i have a fobia of smelling bad" and i started remembering those jokes about how she smelled bad and didn't shower :( ilysm emma hope you're okay now!
I feel like those that are saying emma's new editing style is lonely or sad and that they miss the old one have not gone thru the transition to adulthood yet. I think her new videos and editing style is very calming and authentic and as a 20 year old like emma, life feels very much like the vibes her new content give off. it's nice and feels more personal and genuine
Damn, I havent watched Emma's videos in about 2/3 years now and I was really surprised when I clicked on this to see this new editing style. It feels much more mature and sophisticated and I feel it reflects the path shes on now compared to her old goofy content
This isn’t relatable because I never saw life like this, this is mental RESET. Her videos now not only calm me down but show me life from a totally different perspective and it’s SO refreshing. No goof-offs, no silly sound effects, this is just her. It’s so brave of Emma to do this. ❤️✨
I get crying about the tonsil stone, though. There’s just a special layer of frustration in being uncomfortable with something, but not knowing what to do about it. I had a persistent cough at some point, and it wasn’t anything special, but the longer I didn’t know what it was and what to do about it, the more upsetting it was. It’s just made worse when there’s no answer to what it is or what to do about it. Then, it feels like you’ll be stuck like that forever
i’ve had a persistent cough since april but i don’t have anything wrong with me and it bothers me so much i have to cough to put some pressure on my throat my every minute or half a minute 😕
Honestly, as someone who struggles with drinking enough water, watching you decide to use that water bottle made me feel REALLY motivated. Regardless of whether or not you keep using it, just seeing that bottle and hearing you talk about your struggles with hydration made me feel like "oh, me too, and I can do that too!" and I really needed that today. Thanks!!
I continually come back to rewatch this video. There's something about it that's so comforting. I absolutely adore all of Emma's videos but this one is indescribably soothing

it’s even worse when you think about how, during that time, people were laughing at shane dawson’s jokes about his bad hygiene. but for emma it was different.
snes literally more popular than them.. they'd deserve it
What? Who did that
@@PatsliTV in around 2018/19, making fun of emma’s hygiene was a huge trend. a lot of drama channels, and people in general, would make fun of emma for appearing unhygienic.
at the same time, people were supporting another youtuber who’s hygiene was arguably worse (shane dawson). it was very hypocritical of people to do that.
the way this is filmed honestly feels like a 90s film you’d watch in school and i love it
This vlog made me so sad. Also, don’t feel bad for crying over that stone thing. I cried in front of everyone at jiffy lube today.
Haha I cried at jiffy lube too
It’s a traumatizing and dehumanizing experience every time I get an oil change
It’s a universal experience dont worry
@@tangerine_dreamsss YES IT IS HAHAHA
yeah medical and car stuff can be scary. once i had a bump on my wrist and was convinced it was a tumor and my hand would have to be cut off and i cried so much and the doctor said it was just a wrist injury and it went away in a few days
The background music is so addicting.....
it literally drives me crazy and it gets stuck in my head soooo quickly
Very melancholic in some parts. Goes great with the old Hollywood theme.
In case you wanted to listen to it, the song is: Imaginary the Sun Really Shines by Jincheng Zhang

@@niamhp1432 aww thank you
The vibe of this video is the vibe of my life and I'm so glad someone understands like the gentle melancholy of being an adult and trying to take care of yourself.
gentle melancholy is exactly it! wow
how do i save this comment forever i love this
I ADORE that you talk about tonsil stones, piercing bumps (keloids) etc. You have no idea how refreshing it is to hear someone like you/an influencer acknowledge that they have the same issues as me, it makes me feel so much more normal and less alone. Thank you
everything emma says is so intriguing to me. like she can be talking about nonsense but i would wholeheartedly listen to her
righttttt
I feel like Emma is just such a good influence for young girls. If I have a daughter I would hope this is the content she watches.
th-cam.com/video/a1j9owBuwdQ/w-d-xo.html .
My teen daughters watch. I’m glad.
Emma will find this so sweet of she reads this ❤️
th-cam.com/video/xoPAW0dROtQ/w-d-xo.html
Love this. ❤️
i miss her forehand kiss ngl but i love that she shows us when she’s down and crying, she’s a human and deserves to be happy.
Why?
I’m just gonna say it, everybody feels this - it’s therapeutic
I dont know why, but this way of editing makes me both comfortable and scared
Ikr she seems sad
Girl same
Like-
What am I suppose to feel honey?
It’s very vulnerable thats why
same idk why am feeling this when im watching her videos
SAMEEEE it makes me so sad and empty but so comfy at the same time
I love the little clips of random things. Like the people walking across the street. It raises the mundane to extraordinary, really makes me look at things differently.
i really love how this girl isnt scared to show or tell certain stuff. Thats why she will always have a special place in my heart.
emma is literally my comfort youtuber and i literally just noticed that she doesn’t give us forehead kisses anymore she needs to start again love u sm emma
As a single 30-year-old woman who lives alone, I cannot express ENOUGH how important it is that you are showing (to a LARGE young female audience) the value of independence and doing things by yourself! Love you so much Emma 💕
as a 33 yr old, I wish I had her 10+ years ago :')
yes!! that gives me so much hope (also as a single 30year old woman living alone)!!! this is such an important work :)
Right!! Couldn’t have said it better myself 💞
@@freeemz SAME omg. Yet I listen to her podcasts for advice NOW! 😂
I’m your same age and I agree!!
Emma used to talk a lot in her past videos. Now you just see her doing things in silence, but weirdly you kinda know what she’s thinking and feeling. I’m getting to like this new format 🤍
The whole video feels like a 2005 chill movie with no actual plot but makes you feel fuzzy and warm inside
YES OMG
ever since emma started editing again, the videos are so much more comforting. idk why people say “it’s sad” or “depressing.” for me, it’s familiar. maybe a hint of melancholy, but it’s soothing and nice to know i’m not the only one going through some shit. if you listen to her podcast, you know she has friends and she sees them. she just chooses to keep that part of her life private now, and that’s okay. idk i feel very connected to emma this way. so raw, and oddly healing.
anyone notice how the back window of emmas car says "just married" etched into the dust? iconic. hilarious. love it
th-cam.com/video/DcAUz3zfk1U/w-d-xo.html
..
..
i tried to read it for SO LONG thank god you got able to read it
I wouldn’t be surprised if she got married without telling anyone lol
her and tucker🥲
seeing Emma cry makes me CRY, when she cried "mhmhm": I FELT THAT.
rightt
i cried too
you're telling me she had a tonsil stone and the first doctor couldn't see it and immediately dismissed it?? Bro some doctors be absolutely wildin
I like your pfp
Calm down, doctor's have their own specialist, the first doctor might be just a regular doctor, but the second doctor definitely and ETN (ear, throat, nose) specialist doctor so they know it.
Why is nobody talking about how “just married” is written on her back windshield
time stamppp

i was looking for a comment about this
seeing emma cry was heartbroken to me. i found her and this channel over quarentine but i already feel so comfortable here, also, her saying "i have a fobia of smelling bad" and i started remembering those jokes about how she smelled bad and didn't shower :( ilysm emma hope you're okay now!
Emma is honestly only reason I’m ok, she makes me feel so comfortable and safe and makes me feel ok that I don’t get up and do soemthing 24/7.
@Dream Music no
Sameeee
same she reminds me that everything will be okay and we are all trying our best
@annabel Wow that is super honest and open!! Thank you for sharing. Stay strong
You should also check her podcast if you haven’t yet
I feel like those that are saying emma's new editing style is lonely or sad and that they miss the old one have not gone thru the transition to adulthood yet. I think her new videos and editing style is very calming and authentic and as a 20 year old like emma, life feels very much like the vibes her new content give off. it's nice and feels more personal and genuine
It reads to me that she's actually taken courses now where before she was a teenager who happened to get a large following.
that first sentence >>> yes, and u put it so beautifully
exactly!! I’m 20 too and this seems extremely peaceful to me
its so calming
bruh i am an adult and it all feels lonely to me
Damn, I havent watched Emma's videos in about 2/3 years now and I was really surprised when I clicked on this to see this new editing style.
they also go by really quick, nice and relaxing, im enjoying this new vlog style of hers
Especially when you have anxiety....it can be something very small but ur brain tells u that you're in your final cancer stage and dying
@@Me-to5zw yes this.
yes omg
i’ve had a persistent cough since april but i don’t have anything wrong with me and it bothers me so much i have to cough to put some pressure on my throat my every minute or half a minute 😕
she is literally one of the most beautiful person I have ever seen inside and out. I'm so thankful for her.
Thanks!!
I felt those tears rolling down her eyes. However um... where did the forehead kiss go? It's like our friendship hug went away. 😭
Thisss I miss it🥺
rightttt??
frr i miss it:(
@@mayalou7068 Where did she say it made her sad?
Yall weird
Can’t wait until she writes and directs her own film.
That would be awesome. If she did, she’d either go for black comedy or feel-good drama.
i haven’t watched emma in like two years and i’m so impressed by how much she’s matured
she so beautiful
sameee
same
I continually come back to rewatch this video. There's something about it that's so comforting. I absolutely adore all of Emma's videos but this one is indescribably soothing
artist tip: instead of throwing away your "mess ups", save them for when youre re-inspired and add to/change them!
I know this wasnt directed towards me but i will try this. I throw away all my art that I hated/messed up on. and by no means I am good at in it justs calms me
omg i love this idea 🥰
maybe it’s just me but her hair has been looking really soft and healthy lately. it looks really good
healthy??? lol wut
i think is because she cut the ends
@@jenniviiv could you not comprehend? healthy means complete physical, mental & social well being & not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
Yea i think she's not dyeing it a lot like when she was blonde so that could be a big part of it.
this new editing style gives me early 2000’s films vibes when smartphones didn’t exist and she just drives, paints, swims in the pool etc. i adore
Exactly
yessss
ahh i really love this type of vlogs- realistic, calm, and surprisingly inspiring. ive been hesitant to watch emma’s but here we are 🙌🏻

these videos make me feel sad but in a nostalgic way, almost comforting.
I just found out I have tonsil stones today, and im looking back to this video and im so grateful she shared her experience with us bc I feel way less gross and way less alone about it. But um. I've made the decision to get my tonsils taken out cuz now I literally can't stop thinking about it. But thank you Emma. I love you.
How much will it take to get your tonsils taken out
I just moved to paris and I’m feeling really homesick, something about the way you edit your videos now makes me feel so comforted and at peace. I love to re-watch them when I’m feeling extra down. love u emma
Maybe do some vlogs during the day and talk to the camera so you can feel that you're not alone, you can decide either to post them or keep them for you . It will be great to watch them as time passes so you can see your evolution 🙏
I’m Parisian and when I moved to the States as an exchange student, I also felt homesick. It’s okay though, just remind yourself that cultural differences can make your experience better or broaden your perspectives on life. I hope you’re enjoying the city!!
