Just found your channel, Tim! Really enjoyed the video. That place is stunning! You definitely got a solid workout exploring those caves. The cave you stayed in looked amazing!
Dude I think you just missed Itchy Boots, she was in Cappadocia a couple of days ago, she posted a video yesterday in which she was an hour away from Uçhisar. If you ever see a loaded up bright blue enduro bike, that's her. It could be nice to see featurings on both channels, but I think she might have passed you already.
I'm trying to imagine how people could live in such a location, back in the day. That rock seems ultra-porous with little water-holding capacity. I guess water would have had to be brought up from the valley every day in clay pitchers on the backs of donkeys. Likewise their cooking fuel. Very few trees around it seems, so I guess they would have burned dried animal dung. All food carried up the hills too. All cliffcave-dwellers whatever their age would have had to be pretty agile and fit!
I think it's good that we have shows like this to remind us that The Flintstones where a real Family Once Upon a Time

@a24-45 it honestly is incredible to imagine, & for early Christians imagine the persecution that drove them to hide away in such a place.
