Some FJ's have a body color piece of trim on the interior door panels. Will this modification allow for those body color trim pieces to remain in place? Good work by the way !!!

I’m new to this world, I’ve done a few simple mods on my own, but I don’t think I could do the door myself let alone i don’t have the tools for this. If you ever made a plug in and play door, I would 100% buy it. I have a Doberman who would love to pop her out the window while we go on road trips.

No, sorry we do not have these in production yet. We have hit a small but mighty roadblock. The interior plastic parts have not made it to production. We can't seem to find a company to make these at the quality and cost we are aiming for.

Nope, sorry. We will announce when the windows go on sale. We have been struggling with this final piece of the puzzle. It was a last minute decision to change it from full fiberglass interior door panels to smaller caps of plastic from the areas needing cuts. The fiberglass was ditched for shipping, cost, and safety reasons (having a fiberglass door panel splinter on impact would be gnarly).
We are not sure how to feel about being called the Elon Musk of anything...But we are going to take it as a compliment till you say otherwise! haha...We are working on a final numbers and ordering option(s) now! "Stay tuned!"

I hope that you can provide a DIY kit, because getting door from the US to Australia will be super expensive

The current plan is to have the the replacement door panel retain the provision for the color keyed trim piece, hope this helps!

The FJ series is still alive, we've just been seeing some delays due to the amount of projects but expect a FJ Video coming soon with more updates!
