- In this video I turn a vase for dried flowers. As it is not possible to hollow this vase through the thin neck, I decided to do it from the other side and glue in a piece of wood in the resulting hole.
The finished vase is about 18cm high and has a diameter of about 8cm at the thickest part.
So that's how it is done. Thank you!
Happy to see another video!
I use a half inch skew or a bedan to cut tenons
Schöne Arbeit👍🏻
I like it
nice work!
Very impressive! I just wondered if you could fill the base with sand or similar, to provide some weight?
Thanks! Sure, you could fill it with sand, to add some weight if needed. That's what I would do as well, to make sure it has a secure stand.
Hi
You mean vases FOR dried flowers...the name is almost deceiving.
Deceiving? What did you think, that the vase is made of dried flowers?
A vase which is used for fresh flowers, is called a "flower vase", so why would I not call it a "dried flowers vase" if it's used for dried flowers.
@@steraturning I said 'almost deceiving'...please re-read my comment. I read the description AFTERWARDS. Please don't get on my case, you're the one who read it wrong...thank you.
Beautiful! Please keep posting, appreciate your teachings.
