Can you put ratings of the players under their picture, like you used to do in the past? Edit: First of all thank you for so much likes, secondly i didn't complained about it, I have just suggested it so we can better know how big diffrence is between two players.
In my opinion, Magnus Carlsen is the only person that deserves the world champion title because of how much he keeps fighting for every game and even wants to increase the number of games in the world championship series to make sure the better player wins unlike Fabiano Caruana who settles for draws after 20 moves and can’t really dominate outside the book games like Fischer (chess 960) chess
It's not really a matter of "opinion", he IS the only person that deserves the World Champion title because he's the one who took the title from Anand and has successfully defended it since then without retiring.
Carlsen is deliberately trying to create new games/new lines in the openings of all his games since the WCC. I think this is part of him trying to combat people studying openings so intensely.
The really cool moment during the post mortem was when MC revealed an almost drawing solution he had spotted during own game of the Caru-Naidi game at their move 17. His brain is currently doing simultaneous calculations during super-tournaments (!). I guess that is what you do when you have a perf-rating of 2925 so far in 2019. It is silly.
I really love the way that you actually use the mouse to move the pieces around in your videos. Others want to be fancy, and use keyboard shortcuts, but the fact that you use the mouse helps your storytelling, since we can follow the cursor to see where you're going with the story. I would really love for you to actually make the cursor bigger, to make it an even more effective asset to your videos. It's the laser pointer on the blackboard. The better we see it, the better we understand what you're saying :)
Your using the mouse also makes you more interesting and watchable as a storyteller, since it gives the impression that you know this stuff by heart and you're on top of things. You're already the single commentator on youtube that sounds a little bit like a sports commentator; a presentation that is familiar and enjoyable to the audience, so the more you add to the experience of your storytelling, the more we enjoy your videos. :)
How do we get these uploads so fast from agadmator. I know the analyzes dont go super deep but we get all the critical moments explained. Gotta give credit when credit deserved. Good job.
Wooow you are so quick! The round is not even over! PS they should have you do the commentary, as you make it super interesting! Thanks for the great efforts!
8:37 -- Rxc4, Nd2, Qxd5, Nxc4, Qxc4 trades a rook for a knight and two pawns. The engine still rates White ahead, but White was already ahead, and the loss of both center pawns might make it easier for Black to secure a draw. 8:47 -- After Qc7, the engine rates +1.99 at depth 30, so trading R>NPP might be the more prudent gambit getting that passed pawn off the board. 11:07 -- Carlsen missed the superior d7 (defending the rook), and Black's position is hopelessly cramped.
@8:00 I think you misread the situation with the black queen. He moved the Queen to E5 to protect the Rook on D5. The Knight is pinned because if he captures the Rook on D5, the Queen captures the Rook on D1 with Check.

It must be because I don't understand chess as these guys, but my overall feeling of this game is that Aronian played himself. Carlsen made many seemingly useless queen moves in the middle game like he was waiting for Aronian to make a mistake. a5 creating the decisive weakness. f5 e4 opening the board for Carlsen's rooks and freeing the way for his central passed pawns.
I would really love if u have engine bar so we can see inaccurate moves/mistakes , sometimes in games i struggle to find good moves or ideas so these games help me but many moves i don’t understand such as after qf2 be3 , why then did he go back to b2 with queen ? And why did he waste moves with qd2 then qb2 , i know u aren’t Magnus but i would really love if u share ur thoughts on these moves with us , these 2 things will help a lot and thanks for ur dedication for the channel
I'm curious about the queen moving from QD2... an then the very next move with no obvious tempo gain or threat queen B2...??? I'm no grandmaster of course an he's no computer, so it could be something as simple as a change of plans or if he's fatigued or since he did say the tournament has been taking a somewhat tiresome toll, but then again it could be that black's move allowed for some far ahead unseen move order that was analyzed an calculated by Magnus that "now" the queen needed to be on B2 instead! LOL... So...Anyways Let me know if you find out please. 👍 "Great minds think alike" 😎
impossible to follow the games in on the chess24 grenke youtube page.. stupid that they only have one board and that we never know what is the true position..
lex Tr3 On chess24's website you can see the livestream and how all the boards look in real time, with an engine saying who is better. You can also see the standings there. :-)
Magnus resigning? haHA. but seriously I think it was 1 time last year. I don't recall whom it was against tho. Magnus very rarely resigns even when people thinks it's lost or a draw. That's part of the reason why he wins so much and is the champion. It's insane that he can play at such a great level after often playing 6-8 hour games
Aronian seems to have regressed significantly since the start of the Candidates last year. Just when it looked like he was the hottest player alive, he fell off
Still one of my favourite players along with MC and Svidler. He is just creative and doesn't always care about results, he goes with his intuition. Love him
@@FatPandaCries that doesnt seem to be entirely it, though, as numerous top players (Svidler, for example) have gotten married and continued to play extremely high level chess, and not to say Aronian isnt playing high level chess, but he clearly isnt playing at the level he has in the past
I'm shocked knowing that Bd2 move by Carlsen is a new move because that's exactly the move that popped first in my head on how to save the bishop and pawn. I'm an amateur tho and probably only rated at 1500 😄
Third win with Black in such a strong field. Carlsen seemingly is on fire. But I can't understand why Aronian spent so much time. Carlsen has more than once shown that he is a master of using a time advantage.
I don’t find it weird taking recent history into account. Aronian has seriously dropped off in the later years. It’s not that long ago that Carlsen openly regarded him as his biggest rival for the world champion throne. He's a brilliant player not really living up to his potential, for whatever reason.
Yes, Aronian is a great player and had the potential to become World Champion. Unfortunatelly always in the candidates he didn´t play his best chess. Aronian also plays a very entertaining and tricky chess. What I meant was why he spent so much time and brought himself in such time trouble. Carlsen is a master in using the time trouble of his opponent. He playes fast and good moves and does not force matters. He has done this in the previous game against Meier.
Can you put ratings of the players under their picture, like you used to do in the past?

Magnus is playing so well now that Magnus from three to four years ago just declared that the current Magnus is his favorite player.

Caruana is a very solid player. It really sucks to have one player dominate like this. I wish there was much more closer competition.

I knew Aronian would lose before the game even start because of his profile picture.
Hahahaha
Aronian always has that face when playing chess
That's the worst Levon picture you could find. He looks tired and depressed.
i think that's very fitting isn't it

That's how he looked after this game with Magnus.
