That little trap Agadmator shows at the beginning, from the Cambridge Springs Defense to the Queen's Gambit, where White thinks he's winning a pawn but is actually losing a piece? I got that position (playing Black) in one of the first tournaments I ever played. I knew the trap and my opponent didn't. He played right into it and I won the piece in the opening. But I lost the game. That was decades ago, but It still kind of hurts.
The beauty about these old pictures is the chess players' dressing code of that era and the fact that Capablanca's opponent is checking his mobile phone, probably trying to find the engine suggestion for his first move
I'm glad I went back and watched the Marshall attack (again). It was so venomous! Anywho, here Capa enters the beast mode right? Imagine that these days!
I am glad that you decided to cover the New York tournament. Both of Capablanca's games vs Chajes in that tournament have some genuinely entertaining moments.
I like the decision to extend the Capablanca Saga - super interesting stuff, and before this we didn't really get a whole lot of Capablanca games and we will most likely not see a whole lot after. Enjoying this for as long as it lasts!
Zugzwang - situation in chess where one player is put in disadvantage because its his time to make a move, he would prefer to pass for sure, but its not possible in chess
It's ok, you're the boss on leading the saga, we have been patient. Though it pains me that we're not going to reveal whatever information from Tarrasch's book, if you already got it that is.
I would like to know how openings got thier name like english opening, queens gambit declined, is there any history, story behind every opening? If possible please make a vedio on explaining different openings.
Random idea: What if you ended each video with a summary of three key points to remember, one for the opening, one for the middle game, one for the endgame?
#agadmator. 6:11 after White Bishop captures, Black MUST exchange Queens first, or lose a piece. If Black Bishop captures, then White BxN wins the Knight (if QxQ, BxQ keeping the Bishop).
Thanks for another video. I am curious... u are from Croatia, but do they teach u English in your early education? I'm not trying to sound like an ass haha, I'm just wondering. You speak so well. Id enjoy it if u said "hello everyone" and maybe a part of introduction in Croatian (maybe a small intro in Croatian with translation because I would like to learn a little something in Croatian). Thank u for all your hard work in all your videos!
Im not sure, but i thing that this is not a zugzwang since there is that move of kh7 which is not a nice move but also is not a move that black cannot play
its funny because i watched the capablanca vs marshall game before this game and that video send me to the marshall vs levitsky game xD so i watched two games before this. no regrets.
Relax Antonio, we all love Capablanca saga and you can take as long as you wish to . Feeling a bit Laskering it? LUL -Laskering : Making it slow but strong-
I kinda think that it was easy for Capablanca to say that you will have to lose hundreds of games before becoming a good chess player because Capablanca didn't lose so many games even before becoming a good chess player
Watched the #MarshallAttack game so many times. Already asked a good question there. Asking again. Why Marshall didn't use earlier the Marshall attack in between 1910-1918,instead of saving it for 8 years & then unleashing in 1918? He met Capablanca many times in between these time periods.. So why????? #agadmator
John Stuart Morrison’s photo is actually in color, he’s just pale from facing Capablanca.
I salute you sir. This gave me a good laugh!
I think the background also got scared

nice one ... lets take our time with the Capablanca Saga. Too much awesome chess to rush.
Capablanca refuting the Marshall Attack over the board and seemingly without trouble is one of the greatest achievements in chess.
We're very happy that you're taking your time with the Capablanca saga!
The beauty about these old pictures is the chess players' dressing code of that era and the fact that Capablanca's opponent is checking his mobile phone, probably trying to find the engine suggestion for his first move
At 6:58, white is up a pawn but it is a doubled pawn not a pawn you want to show your friends, only OG fans can remember this sentence
Do you remember which video is that?
What is OG
Zentan - it means like legendary or authentic or real fans (fans following for a long time not the new subscribers)
@@ahmedwaheed3153 ty
I recognize it but forgot which video it's from! Which video?
Im happy that we dont rush the Capa Saga this way the excitement for the Lasker-Capa games is kept... :D
Awesome direction for the Capablanca Saga! You are an excellent TH-camr :)
Yes, definitely continue with the Capablanca saga. I'm really enjoying it. You're play by analysis is great.
Good job Agatmator, you are an excellent chooser of directions
Just came here from the famous Marshall attack video. Still an amazing game no matter how many times I watch it
3:49 Wonderful green color. The spirit of Dodo the engine boy must have been with you that your interface was so incredible.
Those backroundgs behind Capablanca in the thumbnail are getting more and more weirdly...
Satisfying

Thank you for extending the Capablanca Saga. Easily my favourite player and series of videos.
Glad you decided to slow-play the Capablanca series. Great stories and excellent games!
This saga is epic, thanks very much, Antonio!
Zugzwang - situation in chess where one player is put in disadvantage because its his time to make a move, he would prefer to pass for sure, but its not possible in chess
Vast knowledge. Or is it vast vocabulary?
it is german and means:
-zwang = force
Zug- = to move.
No, no it is not possible in chest. And yes, we've all been there.
Finally, I'm able to watch your videos daily.
I'm still a subscriber agadmator.
The more the better. I have all the time in the world to expand my hope to be vast knowledge;)
Thanks for the great content!
And agad..... Thanks. You're channel is literally loved
Holy cow...Agadmator is over 400,000 subscribers! Congrats on the growth of your channel. I dropped in around 25,000 about a year or so ago. Amazing
"... You will have to lose hundreds of games before becoming a good player (*) "
(*) Did not apply to me. -Capablanca
the reason I love agadmator - 09:04
Did Capablanca win, or did Capablanca win at 60fps?!
Great picture from the tournament ... that's fantastic!
I love these games where Capablanca has the whole game laid out perfectly from the first move!
so glad i woke up to this upload, was waiting ahaha
Love the capablanca series. I'm excited for Lasker, but would like to see as many great Capablanca games as possible till then.
Agadmator hitting us with the new hairstyle. I see you there Antonio
Perfect positional play like could be expected from Capablanca.
Who else checked the Marshal Attack Game for now at least three times, because its so amazing? :D
I honestly dont care which direction you take as long as you keep uploading chess content like this :)
Don't rush the Capa saga. I'm enjoying it.
This game was well narrated and hilarious!
Yay, more Capablanca!!
my favorite saga is the Capablanca saga. ty Agadmator. well i like Morphy and Nezhy too :D and lots of others lol
It's 3am where I'm at but it's okay. It's never to early for chess
Or too late
I've missed the time that you would say: "You can laugh at your opponent face and play _____" LOL
3:33 a nice transposition of the elephant trap 🙂
Yeah Capa saga extended cut!!
Which opening was played more, queen’s gambit or the Ruy Lopez
Ahmed Waheed Ruy Lopez probably
There's some popular database of 1.8M games where 128K openings were Queen's Gambit and 90K were Ruy Lopez.
It's ok, you're the boss on leading the saga, we have been patient. Though it pains me that we're not going to reveal whatever information from Tarrasch's book, if you already got it that is.
3:18, OH! A blunder indeed, that is known as the Elephant Trap, you did not win a pawn, but end up losing a whole knight.
Thank you for an amzing video and for increasing my vast knowledge
Great direction we want more Casablanca but fill us in on the tournament players thankyou and the tournaments history and prize money
Your old videos are blurrier. I never noticed. Been a subscriber almost 2 years I think now.
I missed the story behind the couch....need that 'vast knowledge'!
I would like to know how openings got thier name like english opening, queens gambit declined, is there any history, story behind every opening? If possible please make a vedio on explaining different openings.

#suggestion Alexander Alekhine vs Aron Nimzowitsch 1930 in Sanremo. Would greatly enjoy your analysis of Alekhine's Gun.
@Luiz Gonçalves That should be pretty enjoyable.
I’ve fallen for that opening trap a few times in blitz at 1800-1900 elo lichess
great work
#agadmator. 6:11 after White Bishop captures, Black MUST exchange Queens first, or lose a piece. If Black Bishop captures, then White BxN wins the Knight (if QxQ, BxQ keeping the Bishop).
Theres no rush Antonio, we could wait way more to see Capa vs Lasker. Go slow...we like it
agadmator will be in books.

Me vs Agadmator
Agadmator: White pieces
Me: Black pieces
Agadmator: e4
Me: "I'll give y'all couple of seconds to help me out"
Very good! But i have a doubt, I couldn’t understand the term you use, is it “tube swung”?
another great game by capablanca.
Awesomeness
Antonio! Nguyen is pronounced “nwhen”. Just a minor correction.
Thank you
What's wrong with black playing rook d8 check? Then either doing perpetual or moving to d2 checking since bishop is guarding it?
Looks like someone got a noose ready for after their game with Capa O.o
Tell us how many draws Casablanca gets in this tournament we know he is on a winning streak it makes the tournament more interesting to begin with
Capablanca's opponents play these little inaccuracies that turn into complete catastrophes. An incredibly intimidating player.
well i gotta make sure my vast knowledge expands!
Im not sure, but i thing that this is not a zugzwang since there is that move of kh7 which is not a nice move but also is not a move that black cannot play
Link to FJM attack debut > link to American Beauty game > and down the spiral hole to 3 years back!
Nice video 👍
Well seems like I was early to the Capa vs. Marshall Video as well... 😅
Is that a new couch?
Smashed the like button, now it's pregnant
Sorry, I must tell you the baby it's not yours.. :)
There would be a completely different game if black at 7:17 move the other pawn a7 to a6 instead of b7 to b6
Ok thank you sir 😀
its funny because i watched the capablanca vs marshall game before this game and that video send me to the marshall vs levitsky game xD so i watched two games before this. no regrets.

I don't know if he lost that many games period, were you to sum up all the games he ever played.
3:08 I think this is called the elephant trap

nice moves learned
Nice!
will the capablanca saga be over after he wins the wcc or will we also see his wcc against alekhine?
That will be a part of Alekhine saga
agadmator's Chess Channel im looking forward to it!
@@agadmator But what the rubenstien saga?
I MISS CAPABLANCA SAGA WHY MUST IT END
#suggestion Alekhine saga please after this saga please 🙏🙏🙏
And the sadness ist that every Saga ends sometimes...
Has he explained the missing couch story yet? If so, which vid?
6-7 videos earlier.
Medo breaking in the new couch
Wow he CRUSHED Morrison
#Suggestion Please take your time with the Capa saga... you make one of a kind content on TH-cam!
the infamous green square 3.52
I've heard that J. Morrison is also a great musican
I don't imagine that the chess player wore leather trousers or got his dick out during a match...
Hello sir, I'm also a chess passionate like you and I want to make chess vedios in Bengali language. Can u please tell me which software u use??
10:15 why not rb8?
Capa is abslout monster , there’s no way for morrison to breath
#suggestion Nihal Sarin Vs Parham Maqsoodloo 2019.
We're very happy that you're taking your time with the Capablanca saga!
