Those six buttons are enabled in the model settings and can be set to on or off when the radio is turned on.

I only fly FPV so only use 3 switches and love the V1 , my V1 only has 1 wheel the other side is an arm switch , I do take it apart and service it every so often ,,, the Gimbal tension is so perfect compared to my other radios . incredible smooth hall sensors ,, was going to upgrade but why ,,,,, been running it everyday for over a year now still works like new ,, My favorite radio ,,, I have a bunch of 1220 3v batteries thats what you replace and fix the rtc thing simple all radios do that crap

    I also have this v2.
I haven’t checked the clock reset
Both my 3 way buttons click correctly
Button #1 of the 6 buttons also doesn’t click
    Weird!
I also noticed the usb-c charge port is very picky on which wall-wart & cable. When it’s working correctly the controller will light up: green power button x:6 lights for, I assume level of charge, and a light right by the usb-c inlet.

Hi, did you manage to solve things with Banggood? How did it go?

  • @jarno.rajala
    @jarno.rajala ปีที่แล้ว +1

It seems Jumper hasn't fixed the most obvious issues with the v1.
The 6 button switches work poorly because the rubber thingy has too short arms, which don't connect with the underlying micro switches properly. All the switches are identical and should definitely click when pressed. This can be fixed by adding a bit of glue onto the arms to make them longer. Though I haven't figured any good use for those buttons anyway.
The 3-pos switches are mechanically poor, even when they work right. The down position is too close to the plastic surface, making the switch go to the middle position accidentally. They should've changed the angle of the switch a bit to make it more articulated.
The USB port & the 3.5mm jack have too little clearance around them. Many connectors don't fit.
At least is seems they've improved the charging, which on the v1 is nearly useless.

I find the 6 buttons useful in F3K practice to tell the flight controller which ballast I have added.

Unfortunately not a screw problem. The plastic part of the 3 position button was not correctly created and was too high. As a result the plastic broke and needs either replacement or precise glue work :). The switch itself worked OK.

Once again from Jumper, great product concept with poor execution.
My v1 had replacement for gimbal, slider to latch button, and PDB. And now the gimbal needs replacement again. I like its form factor, but it's junk.
Meanwhile Zorro is tempting but I hate to buy battery other than 18650 for remote controller, and the screen is also too big.

I also have the 1st button issue with a brand new device. The funniest part is that the sd-card slot is just an empty void. Dropped my card inside the radio.and after opening the whole thing there is just nothing in there where the sd-card would go.. EDIT: ok i got a response that there shouldn't even be an sd-card slot, internal 512mb memory is used instead.

      1. RTC issue - battery was completely drained (0V) - to be replaced.
      2. 3 position button - The plastic part of the 3 position button was not correctly created and was too high. As a result the plastic broke and needs either replacement or precise glue work :). The switch itself worked OK.
      3. 6 position button - looks it works as designed - it's a feature not a bug :) - the switch works fine, to get click you need to press on right part of the button. I compare with 2 others T-Pros and they worked the same (although my privet T-Pro work completely fine)

      Hej,

@@gielzakb Thanks for letting me know and all reading this. The info is very helpful. Jumper is so dumb they had a chance to really fix this radio with V2 they didn't. @@vuchuong74 In my opinion this is still the best radio with this form factor. I need small and very capable device.
I already got my 2nd piece which doesn't have the problems I had with the initial one.
The charging voltage got fixed (although still there is no quick charge). Yesterday as I was disconnecting the radio from charging it was showing all 6 led ON (fully charged as on V1 normally last 2 LED were not ON) and voltage on radio was 8.5V, charging current dropped to 0.3A.
