This is impressively animated especially for first person
@Da Bissboss I know it is, which makes it even more impressive considering all the tweaking you have to do, not to mention the countless physical re-takes.
I really want to see the whole game rendered in this magnifiscent quality and creativity. I would be such of one of the best action movies in this decade.

Feels like part of the game, quite immersive to an extent that I'd think it's part of a game cutscene. What am I saying, it is one!

This is amazingly well animated, I’m glad it didn’t do what most animations usually do and have the guard or whatever he is, get cut in half by the elevator.
Aight so um here's few suggestions
Elevator floor is missing normal map, I can see the error texture.
Sparks light effect is clipping through the walls.
Needs some clothing drag sounds.

Brilliantly animated.
As a Half Life die hard it warms my heart to see a portrayal of Gordon properly demonstrating he’s a hero.
Even though I love these games to death, I never understood how the knowledge spread around the human resistance that Gordon was scientist Jesus. Because unless the Vorts knew because they know all and told humans, Gordon and the G-Man should really be the only individuals who know exactly what he did in, and he spent more time just watching people get killed around him, even if he did take on the US military, fought off a trans-dimensional cataclysm and went to a border-world to reserve the effects of it all.
I salute you for animating a compassionate Gordon!
I’d always keep reloading quick saves to try and save all the friendly NPC’s. Never understood why people are so quick to kill then.
The black mesa scientists were tracking his progress via the security system. Black Mesa expands on this by adding more prominent and obvious security cameras to many locations. This is how the knowledge of what he did gets spread after the incident.
What bothered me in Half-Life is how the npcs can't follow us anywhere. I hope this day can come. Well, I still have my own way to make them follow me from start to finish.

Dragging the guy back out from the door gap at the sound of the cables snapping is exactly what I hoped would happen. I had to watch a couple times to catch it, but that's just how low lighting is. Unpolished as it is, it's already looking really good. I'm looking forward to seeing it after it's been finalized.

BUT ANYWAY, I LOVE THE DETAIL AND TIME YOU TOOK YOU PUT INTO THIS, IT FILLS SO DRAMATIC [IN A GOOD WAY] AND REAL, I LOVE HOW WE CAN HEAR GORDON'S BREATHS/GROANS AT TIMES, IT MAKES HIM LOOK MORE HUMAN, DID YOU FRIEND WHO VOICED HIM DO THE BLEEDING MAN TOO?
ALSO, SLIGHT SIDE NOTE, I LOVE HOW YOU HAD GORDON PUSH HIM TO THE SURFACE AND THEN CAREFULLY DRAG HIM OUT OF THE DANGER ZONE, IDK WHY I DO, BUT I GUESS IT MAKES IT FILL MORE BELIEVABLE. PLUS I ALSO LOVE HOW YOU KEPT IT IN FIRSTPERSON, I CAN SEE WHY YOU DID, IT MAKES IT MORE INTENSE.

Gordon was applying pressure to the man/s leg, but it wasn't working (you can see the expanding pool of blood under his leg). Gordon is starting to have a panic attack, so far he has been in shock and somewhat desensitized, but by the time the elevator scene comes around he is very weighed down mentally because of all the death. He has a chance to save this man, which is why he runs off to find a medkit at the end of this video. I try to make sure Gordon never speaks. The only sound he will most likely make are somewhat involuntary ones, like rapid breathing or grunts.
The man initially had the bleeding mostly stopped. Its very hard to see but... the guy has a power cord wrapped around his leg to stop the bleeding. After the elevator falls, he lost his makeshift tourniquet.

ALSO, DID YOU GET MULTIPLE VA'S FOR GORDON AND THE OTHER GUY OR IS IT THE SAME ONE, I HATE TO ASK, BUT WILL GORDON...LOSE IT AT ONE POINT, OR WILL HE HOLD IT TOGETHER AND EVENTUALLY BECOM DESINCITIZED AS YOU SAID.
@@GORYGIRL It'll be back and forth I think. The reason i'm going to have him lose it for a bit is because I need him to be distraught enough that he won't notice the ceiling barnacles in the next scene. After that though, the HEV will give him some drugs that will help, and for most of the rest of the series he should be able to hold himself together.
Yes, Komegatze once again voices a little bit of Gordon for me. The talented voice actor Kawa did the worker. (he also does a good G-man impression)
