Well that was strange, I mean the AAVs are using what is essentially a rotary tank gun and the Assault Ships with rapid-firing autocannons (srsly? I thought it was a lower-output but fast firing railgun or plasma railgun), I also thought that the AS would also have thinner/weaker armor too due to hover tech being larger than tank threads so the AAVs should technically have beaten the AS or AT LEAST taken out 1 AS but to not have even killed at least 1? That's kinda BS unless the AS were upgraded and the AAVs were not. Also did you tell the AS to focus fire on a target rather than let them attack enemies individually like how the AAVs did? Because that helped out the AS a lot in taking down an AAV much faster.
The AV is focused on gunning down sandskimmers or LAVs and not much else. It's shots slow down targets they hit. The Assault ship is more multirole so it's actually not as good at dealing with sandskimmers and LAVs.

You should review some ships in complex evo I believe they have diferent armaments
