Burj Park is a park in Downtown Dubai, Emaar's huge mixed-use development. It is set on an island, surrounded on three sides by the Burj Khalifa Lake. It is overlooked by the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building.
It isn't a large park. It covers an area of around three hectares; roughly the size of three football pitches.
Most of the park is a well-tended lawn. The promenade on the eastern side is a great place to watch the Dubai Fountain. The promenade is less crowded than the area around the Dubai Mall, so you can get a good view of the fountain without having to jostle for position. It's also one of the best places to take photos and videos of the fountain, as there is plenty of open space to set up your
camera.
Buri Park is notable for several impressive public works of art. Win Victory Love is a sculpture of a hand giving Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's famous three-finger gesture. The hand sign shows W for Win, V for Victory, and L for Love. Many Dubai residents have adopted the sign as their trademark expression, symbolising a good work ethic, success, and patriotism.
