    I can’t be doing with one off cleans as I’m just too busy. Anybody starting out should always take them on as there’s always a possibility of gaining extra work from it. U should try the moerman liquidator channels, zero detailing if done properly, great tool. Nice job tho mate 👍🏻

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah definitely! What handles do you use with your liquidator mate?

    • @neilpalmer9691

      @@PartridgeExteriorCleaning I just use the unger ergotec handles, I use the 10 & 14 inch channels in them.... there’s a learning curve with them, some people can’t use them but I don’t understand why.... watch TH-cam videos by trad man or polz & bladz on the best way to use them as u need good slip on the glass for them to work effectively, but once you’ve got it down, detailing the windows is down to a minimum 👍🏻

      @@neilpalmer9691 Just ordered myself a 14" one so excited to try it out, been looking at it for a while and definitely seems like a specialist squeegee. Less detailing the better :)

      @@PartridgeExteriorCleaning watch the videos I recommended to u if u haven’t already & u can’t go wrong. The rubbers on them need working in a bit. When I put a new rubber in mine I just clean my house windows with it to break it in as lines can be left at first. Dish soap directly applied on the applicator for good slip on the glass after being dunked in a bucket of water without any soap in. Go slow at first, as the videos say, it’s a precision tool, speed will come the more u use it. I couldnt be without one now. My ninja is surplus to requirements lol

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perfect will do Neil, do you use the blue rubbers with it? That’s what I bought but I believe it comes with a black one already on it. Bought 5 of the blue as they look fancy :D

    Can I make a valid point. Do not place your tools on the ground. You'll pick up grit in the applicator and dirt on the squeegee rubber. A cobweb brush will save you time cleaning your tools off and keep them clean for glass cleaning

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Very true, I scrub my applicator before every job anyway so no harm done if its on the floor for a moment. If there was a table in the garden it would of been on there instead (;
      Cobweb brush i've found counter productive most of the time as I just use a normal dish brush for that and doesn't negate the fact that frames and sills still need to be soaped up on a first clean especially.
      Each to their own though, my methods change every 6 months to be honest, always finding new ways of getting it done. Thanks for your comment mate.

    How do you avoid streaks at the edge of the squeegie?

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Microfibre cloth or a scrim to wipe it away or a mixture of perfect technique and the right tool like a moerman liquidator will help minimise any detailing.
      Just a bit of trial and error but I personally don’t mind a bit of detailing 👍

    When you are padding up a window.Why do you go running edges?First with a cloth you use squeezy.The window first then you go around With a cloth.

    • @PartridgeExteriorCleaning
      @PartridgeExteriorCleaning  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very true but for new guys who aren't into using chems yet it may be a more thorough clean traditionally the first time if they are using both methods anyway, but i agree, razrwash or tfr out the backpack, blast the frames and then wfp is a dream for first cleans.

      @@PartridgeExteriorCleaning I like to spray a bit of elbow grease degreaser on the brush with low water pressure. Leave for 2 mins then wash higher pressure with pure water. I find this way really efficient even with birds mess on regular cleans.
