- This draft missed out on many of the strong neutral minions that typically form these arena decks like Chillwind Yeti and Dark Iron Dwarf, in part due to being offered 9 rare or better picks and in part being offered a pick where Goldshire Footman was somehow correct.

The mage like the one he faced around 32:00 are the mages I hate playing against the most. At no point did that mage have any semblance of board control during that game. But with such low damage per mana of her spells, it's an uphill battle just fighting the board clear / removal that mages have to offer. She played 6 minions (I'm not counting the last dalaran mage as one at all) and beat trump. All because of a misplay vs flamestrike? Arguable. But that is just so infuriating to watch and play against. Card games are about board control, and Mages bend that one golden rule about them so horribly.

If you use Betrayal on Patient Assassin (could you, while it was stealthed?) would it one hit kill both betrayed minions? That has potential for hilarity.
I don't think so...the description of betrayal says to do a minion's damage to adjacent minions, rather than have the minion damage adjacent minions...could be wrong though
You can't target stealthed creatures with Betrayal, however if the assassin was unstealthed then yes it would one hit kill both betrayed minions. A more likely target is the emperor cobra because the assassin usually dies before it unstealths.

No, betrayal does the attack damage, not the special effect on a creature with it's attack damage.
Raguru Bru According to the wiki, "The attacks caused by this spell will carry all of the targeted minion's on-hit effects as well (Freeze, Poison, etc.)".
Back when this was asked I tried it with a friend before commenting and it didn't work, but things may have changed between then and now.
I drafted a warrior deck. Got Harrison Jones and Sylvanas Windrunner.
Yesterday I had a draft with Nat Pagle, Yserra and Cenarius+it was an overal great draft. And I went from being 5-1 while destroying every opponent by a landslide apart from the 1 loss. And Ended up going 6-3... This game is so strange sometimes.
Open question: what would make hunter less mediocre? It seems to me that hunter is pretty bad because its cards rely on synergies that you often won't get in arena. One idea I had was to change the hunter's hero ability to "Give a friendly minion +1/+1 until end of turn." Would that do anything?
I'd still like to know what program that is he uses to show what cards he's drawn.
The way trumps cards were at 19:00, would for example a betrayal on the assassin kill both the minions next to it because of it's ability?

Is it just me or does the Goldshire Footman's head look like it's been badly/lazily shopped onto the body? I'm pretty sure there's a slight box around it that has a lighter blue as a background compared to the rest.
despite trump playing around it flamestrike still is often a 3 for 1 in its user's favor

at 30:41 why did the Shaman surrender? He had 27 health and Trump had a board advantage sure, but I don't know why he would have surrendered.
actually if i am right i have been in his position..My guess is that he is neither frustrated or mad,he just has 0 AOE spells in his deck which means he ll probably lose cuz of tempo..It has happened to me many times i end up with 0 AOE and i miss the good class cards(for example imagine drafting mage without frostbolt and flamestrike-blizzard,only fireballs which are bad vs full board)..

how is blade flurry a joke? destroy your weapon and deal its damage to ALL enemies. Instead he just wanna poke one? Doesnt rogues have like +5/+2 weapon ? is that really bad?

Does Trump ever go 0-3 or 1-3, wondering if he only uploads the average or above vids? Would give me hope if he sometimes gets awful decks and can't win any!
I think the worst i've seen him do is 4-3 as a hunter, it's likely either Trump is too good to go below average or it's just not entertaining to see him lose so badly.

Plus it's really situational, when you're behind and your opponent has a flood of minions on the board that's just extending the pain. When you're ahead, yes, it can provide small plays like preventing your opponent to taunt lethal away, but that's about it.
***** The only real use I have seen for sap is sapping a highly buffed minion back into the enemy hand, but in that case assasinate or other removal usually still is more efficient.
Why do I feel bad when I win hearthstone games? I can't help but feel I only won because I happened to draw the right cards or they were unable to draw the right cards. (e.g. very high starting hand so they couldn't do shit).
because you have a soul and a strong level of empathy.....Card games may not be for you my friend. People draw terribly sometimes and you kick them in the face XD
Fisticufss You may be right, but I play many other types of games. For example When I play street fighter I beat the crap out of my opponent without a seconds thought lol, but with hearthstone I just think "Wow, if he drew this card or that card I would have lost" or vice versa with me drawing this or that card, if you get my point :).

It is cheaper, which is essential in "holding off" situations, it damages enemy hero, which makes it useful for bursting against other reactive decks, and it synergizes with DP/PB as well as spell damage minions. Ofc, 4 FoK is better than 2 BF 2 FoK, but... well... you can't 4 FoK in constructed, and 2 FoK 2 Pyromancer just isn't enough nowadays.
I agree that Trump undervalues Blade Flurry but is that murlock thing really true? Because Trump mostly only does Arena and almost nobody makes a murlock deck in Arena.
it's not terrible but it's really situational. most of the time it's just a 4-mana fan of knives that doesn't draw a card. with a deadly poison wicked knife at 1 durability you can generally kill 1 minion anyway. you're spending an extra card and 2 mana, so you need to kill at least 3 minions to get better than 1 for 1 value.
the odds of having a wicked knife at 1 durability with deadly poison and with 3 targets on your opponent's side of the field with 3 or less hp are already quite low (generally only going to happen against heavy aggro decks), and then you have to consider the cases where a blade flurry does give good value but would be outclassed by fan of blades. if your opponent has something like worgen infiltrator + razorfen hunter + 1-1 boar then you could just fan of blades and kill the hunter with your dagger all while drawing a card. and if your opponent just has 1 health minions then fan of blades is far better as it preserves your weapon and draws a card.
in constructed it's better because you can set your deck up to take advantage of the card i.e. put weapons and deadly poison in your deck and also the decks that it's strongest against like murloc are far more common. for arena it's meh
