    Haven’t watched your newer stuff but hearing you talk about the 120’s dropping and the 9’s flying right off if you right click the missile you can manually edit how the missile gets launched including the speed at which it drops how long it drops before the booster ignites and which direction the missile gets launched either forward for things like sams or down for planes and helicopters
    I also want to say it’s pretty cool that even on an almost year old video you’re still actively troubleshooting problems for people

    I have been trying to do this for a while, but the VesselSwitcher doesn't show up anything except the craft I'm flying. I switch back and forth using the stock switch system, and the VesselSwitcher never shows more than one craft.

      I get that bug occasionally, I'm not sure what causes it. Sometimes a quicksave and reload solves it for me.

    My fire key dosen't work, because im pressing the key that i inputted and then nothing happens. Also i tried arming but still nothing happens.

      By default it should work with the left mouse button. Did you set up an action group with the weapon manager?

      Sorry to start with the obvious, but have you checked they're the right ammo boxes (20mm for vulcans, 30mm for GAU-8s, etc.)?

      The standard version of BDA only goes up to 1.9.x (still works fine for 1.10.1), the Runway Project version of BDA (1.10.1) can be found here: spacedock.info/mod/2487/BDArmory%20for%20Runway%20Project

    I can't see both aircraft when I press the vessel switcher button, I just see one of them what do I do?

      For whatever reason, the vessel switcher sin't recognising one of them as a "BD Armory" craft. Check you have a command module, power, a weapon manager and the AI pilot part on the craft that's misbehaving.

    Are you have the link for vessel switcher for ksp 1.3.1, my vessel switcher had a bug, i cant find the opponent vessel, and im not forgot about all requirement

      Vessel switcher is integrated into BD Armory, and it can be quite buggy at times. Quicksaving and reloading sometimes fixes it.

    04:50 For me when I turn the AI Pilot on and switch to other craft the AI one starts to move but as soon as it get like 100meters away it stops and when I get close to it, it continues but the stops again once it gets 100 meters away from me. Do you know how to fix this?

      I've had this bug before but it was ages ago. What versions of BD Armory & KSP are you running and do you have Physics Range Extender and Module Manager installed?

      @@SonofSmith when I downloaded it from curseforge it mostly worked fine, except it appears some of the parts are missing, specifically the ammo boxes for 20mm, 30mm and cannon shells. I so can't seem to figure out how to lock a missile on a target. Oh and the rotary bomb rack doesn't actually rotate after a bomb is dropped.

      I don't think the BDA autopilot has that ability; it only "lands" by putting out the landing gear when it gets low enough, like when it's run out of fuel

      I've had the same issue. Seems to be connected to range. I simply wait until my and the enemy's craft are 5km closer before clicking boresight.

    so the mod works for me in sandbox mode but i cant find the parts in the tech tree or contracts for science and career mode. Is there an option for it to be in science mode or only sandbox?

      The buildings have had a massive buff at some point, and they're now very difficult to destroy. I've looked about for a way to revert the changes, but so far no luck.

      There should be a button on the right hand toolbar in flight mode that says BD Armory. Click that.

      By default you just select the missile in the weapon manager, arm the trigger and press the left mouse button.

      I don't think so, sadly. I know BD Armory is getting a big rework at the moment, so hopefully the next version brings something along those lines.

      I was mistaken; it appears that in the latest versions of KSP and BDA the AI will open the cargo bay to fire missiles. Just make sure that any missile's "in cargo bay" option is set to "true", and you might want to increase the drop time for them as well.

    So I know this is kind of late but when I try doing anything with the Vulcan it does not do anything it has no ammo even though I have infinite ammo on what do I do not just that but none of my radars do anything it says I need an EC what is that?

      EC = electric charge, your batteries are out of juice. Also, sometimes infinite ammo only works if there's some of the correct ammo to begin with

    with what button you fire the missiles?

      By default you should be able to fire it just by holding the left mouse button. I think you can change that in the BDA menu (press the cog icon in the top right of the BDA window). You can also set up action groups with the Weapon Manager functions.

    i have a problem. when i active the IA, the IA only shut down the engine and do nothing.
    Edit: this only happens with the j-404 engine

    Hey so uhh, Idk if i installed it wrong but im using the version for 1.9.1 and ive tried it in both 1.9.1 and 1.12.3 and its still not working.
    Sometimes items are missing, all the time i cant use the weapons and they dont have any settings.
    Help?

      If you're using 1.12.3, you'll want the Runway Project version of BD Armory (the main fork isn't being developed anymore): spacedock.info/mod/2487/BDArmory%20for%20Runway%20Project
      Make sure you also have the latest versions of Physics Range Extender and the Module Manger DLL. Let me know if you're still having problems!

    Hey there, I've set up an aircraft virtually identical to yours, using the weapons manager, AI, Gun and Ammo, and when I launch it says that I have no ammo? I'm using the correct ammo for the gun, (GAU-8 and 30 mm boxes), and I get no response. If I switch the ammo counters on (shown down in the staging area) it shows that I have ammo. How can I remedy this?

      @@SonofSmith Thanks for the response, turns out having the MP version installed means you *must* be in MP for guns and the like to work. I had installed in prep of doing some duels with a friend and was getting set up before hand and was still using MP in single player. Worked perfectly fine in MP though. :)

    There is no ground computer thingy now... how do I make ground target that will fire back at me? Also I can’t spawn another plane... and the missiles and bombs won’t fire with my lmb.. please help me

      For a stationary emplacement, you need some sort of command module (a drone core or manned cockpit), a weapon manager, power, weaponry and the correct ammunition (if applicable). If you want a mobile unit that the AI controls, you'll need the ground AI module as well, but it's not necessary just to get something on the ground firing back at you. I go into this in more depth in the next tutorial.
      If you're using 1.10, then I've been told Vessel Mover can't spawn planes in at the moment. I assume we're waiting for an update to correct that.
      Before firing bombs and missiles with the LMB, you need to make sure the trigger is armed in the Weapon Manager window (11:51 in the video).
      I hope that solves things, but if you're still having any problems get back in touch and I'll see what I can do. 🙂

      Son of Smith dude Thankyou so much also for the bombs and missiles they still wouldn’t fire and I peeked around In the setting for bda and I turned down the time to hold lmb and that seemed to work!

    Hi I have a question,, I got dbarmory everything is working correctly except guns that should shoot ammunition it just passes through object. Has it something to do with the patch of the game?

      Huh, not sure. Try using KSP v1.11.2 and BDA v1.4.6; everything works fine for me with that. 🙂

      Just to rule out the obvious possibilities: does your craft have a manned cockpit or drone core, and sufficient electrical power? Also, which version of KSP are you using?

      If you right click the guns in the SPH, there should be an option to set engagement distance (you may need to turn on advanced tweakables), as well as a "guns range" slider in the BD Armory guard mode menu.

      Module Manager should be a .dll file that goes straight into your GameData folder. It shouldn't be within another folder in the GameData folder.

      Use the Vessel Mover mod. It has an option for spawning. Alternatively, the Runway Project BDArmory has a mode for that, but it's a bit hard to use.

      Might be a problem with the gun range or visual range on the turret; you can find these on the Guard Menu. Just to check - is this on a craft with a pilot/drone core, electrical power and weapon manager?

      If the weapons have been selected correctly (you need to arm the trigger for missiles) then the left mouse button normally does it. If not, then you may need to look in the settings.

    Hi I have ksp 1.9 and the Vessel mover does not appear on screen(Yes I installed the correct one and yes I put it where it belongs so the mod is in but I can not acces it!) Can you help me? Also BDArmory does not work 100% I have all the guns and bombs and stuff but the category is nowhere to be seen! I find them in tech level 6 but it is complicated to find stuff there! Any advice?
    The BDArmory shows up on the side and works but not the vessel mover! Thanks in Advance!

      For some reason they've stopped bundling dependencies with a lot of mods. In this case it sounds like you need a couple of mods called Toolbar Control and Filter Extensions. Let me know if you have any difficulties tracking them down!
