Nice invention. I wonder how the missing G forces feel when you get layed back in the chair. Because you don't really have any orientation. Maybe it even comes close to g forces. Idk.
again being the 1st view, 1 comment, from backer #1. Support! one question to this controller based motion compensation solution. if install a buttkicker on Yaw3 seat, will the vibration of transducer case the visual shaking? Can you help try and then revert? Thx a lot
First of all, thank you for your support. We have a smoothing algorithm for the motion comp. But I couldn't test it yet. Next week we will test it. My expectation is that it will work with buttkicker
@@YawVR good to know! cannot wait to see your next video about how controller based MC works with buttkickers! As per some folks from other comments, one must be careful to NOT overdo smoothing algorithm otherwise we will lose all the road texture and details that help us to determine the state of car precisely in sim racing. We saw some YawVR using observing visual shaking even using HTC vive tracker. Thank you very much to make it even better. I can foresee Yaw3 is heading to the right direction to enter the mass market! 👍
Looks great but I really am disappointed that there is no upgrade path for existing Yaw2 owners. Even Pimax , say what you will about them has more customer loyalty thant that.
@@YawVR What about those who backed YAW 2 Pro + rotation platform and then waited for the YAW platform only for it to become obsolete leaving me with a 2DOF machine?
Maybe the turning-around motion is wrong. If this motion would beginning when the car starts to drift it would maybe be better. Or the setup got to much input-lag. That’s why everyone struggling in the curves i think
The Sway with the Roll-Motion is too little, the Curve with Yaw-Motion need streaming for VR(Quest 3?) and Motion compensation the Quality for Resolution is with Display-port better(Pimax Crystal) Give only 10% Yaw and more Roll-acc for Sway, and doesnt need Motion Compensation. The Motion is then many real.
Where is the computer? You can only have 360 degree rotation if the PC is also on the rotating platform, otherwise the wires would very quickly get tangled.
The whole setup is wireless. The headset streaming is Infuse VR, wireles USB is a built in Virtualhere software. So you don't have to worried about cable management at all
I play IL-2 Sturmovik, but I use the launcher from the developers, i.e. I do not have the Steam version. Also, I use OpenXR because the performance is better than Steam VR. Will I still be able to use my Yaw3 in IL-2, also with motion compensation? Playing IL-2 is literally the reason why I backed the Kickstarter, hence my question.
I am lesser to your # and I am too. No lie, I didn't have grey hair @ that time.. Now I have @ the sides, streaming through & a few up on top. It makes me realize life is short & we're not getting any younger. Oh, also, I didn't having reading glasses upon purchasing. I am now on my 4th pair. Lift your game Yaw.

This is what the market is waiting for. I've been watching these videos for years, waiting for a simple solution.
dude wasn't even reacting to the earthquake going on the entire time lol
Loving the series, can’t wait for mine to arrive
Thank you for these videos. Patient KS backer looking forward to this very much. 👍
Looking good. I hope to see this easy sync to Microsoft flight simulator 2024 and war thunder

Hi Trevor, there is a discussion about this question already at the company, so we definitely will have this kind of program.

This. It should roll for lateral g's, not yaw.
@@Matthew1028 Yeah for sure, he's got lateral g's doing yaw when it should tilt the seat
So cool!
Beyond amazing!!
Any chance on a commercial use for LBE environments?
PLEASE! demonstrate Elite Dangerous!
Looks good. Can you add SBS 3d support to infuse that's how I play games like Forza in Stereo 3d with depth.
Trevor, I'm not familiar with that format, how can I play Forza in stereoscopic mode?
Is there an option for the seat to lean right and left to simulate centrifugal force??

I placed my order on kickstarter. Please respond. I need to change my shipping address.

Yes, there is an OpenXR motion compensation solution for Yaw3. Here is an example: th-cam.com/video/xQ1aCa_xNvE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yuiEHuTrt5jRROSj
@@YawVR Thank you, very happy to hear that it will work. I will eagerly wait for when I can put it onto practice.
Are you ok?
When this is available to buy?
Yaw3 is available already (shop.yawvr.com), the software package will be released in about 1-2 weeks and that is free

Please show the seat working with a PS5 Gran Turismo. Backer #914......
He should. He could use the plugin for Game Engine the I wrote.
We are planning to implement a native PS5 support, that means you will not need a PC to use PS5 with Yaw3
@@YawVR that would be amazing...
