    The NDC is the worst thing to have ever happened to our beloved country...Ghana would have been better off without Jerry John and the NDC. Give us a break!

    What is the difference between a coup plotter and an armed robber?

    • @paulbaah178
      @paulbaah178 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually the coup plotter overthrows n changes a nation's destiny. An armed robber affects or overthrows a family.

      A coup in when you are able to overthrow the government and an armed robber in when you are cought during the process of trying to overthrow a government.

    Consumer spending is the largest in every economy,and it's very pathetic that more than sixty years after independence no post colonial government in ghana realize the need to organize this very important sector to make it reach it full potential.

    Prof Mills came to power in 2009 and not 2000. Also, he hasn't explained how he met Rawlings

  • @umaryusif1614

    I head Prof says he does not know where the word kalabulay from? I believe it's derived from hausa language which means short change when dealing with people in business

  • @wilsonattitoe3997
    @wilsonattitoe3997 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    He almost got the explanation on transition from Rawlings to Mills spot on but he could have been perfect if he had alluded to the fact that the allegation that Mills would be controlled by Rawlings was wrongly judged by the professor and not Rawlings. In fact from 2000 to 2008 the NPP & kWEKU Baako had pummeled the Professor so hard that he crumbled & his attitude was to resist anything that was favourable to Rawlings. What the Professor lost sight of was that the people who pursued that agenda werent going to vote for him anyway & secondly, Rawlings wasnt an enemy to him or I do not think he perceived Rawlings as bad when he accepted to be his running mate.

    Rawlings projected his psychological unstable persona unto a whole nation
    His bully intimidatory character too was projected on a national level into the militia and violence .That was all rewarded with an indemnity clause

    Nana Jane Opoku Agyeman cannot change the face ex president John Mahama. He is too fresh to come back for power taking salary as vice salary as former president not sufficient. Still wants power after policy credibility.

    The questioner was disingenuous in asking that one of the differences between Professor and Rawlings was that the former did not prosecute NPP members & unfortunately Professor Ahwoi bought into that and answered very poorly. The truth of the matter is President Kuffour set out to punish some core people of the NDC such as Tsatsu, Serlomey, Abodakpi, Peprah(his role in the sale of Goldfields), Ibrahim Adams, Sipa Yankey & he did just that whether he could justify it or not. In Order words they were targets before he assumed power. Now Professor Mills might have backed down in prosecuting the NPP because NPPs were very well crafted in corrupt activities such that it was frustrating prosecuting them. You have to be a crook before you can succeed in prosecuting NPP elements and Professor Mills wasn't that crook. Indeed Professor Mills started with the GHANA @ 50 probe, they couldn't pin anybody down; they started the drill ship saga which the present President is a culprit, but they couldn't pin anybody down so they developed cold feet & their quest to prosecute crumbled like a pack of cards. Now what brought the differences between Rawlings & Mills was that the later ignored anybody not openly antagonistic to Rawlings right after the transitional process. Some of the ignored people lamented to Rawlings, he took those lamentations up and approached the professor who will listen but will remain adamant until Rawlings felt slighted, felt rebuffed and with his ego & reputation amazingly bruised, he understandably started asking questions of the Professor openly. Now I am surprised that Professor Ahwoi disclosing that when they built a docket of those to be prosecuted, they choose Alex Segbefia to read it. When it comes to things like that, since President Kuffour presidency, then they are quick to look at the Volta region but when it comes to things like a foreign minister, an ambassador to the US, a high Commissioner to the UK ETC Volta is a no go area.

    These guys deferred to Rawlings ,he just intimidated all of them ,they didn’t even have a succession plan because Rawlings craved power power and power .The fact he couldn’t qualify for promotion in the Air Force may have been the true motivating factor for his coups .A lack promotion and therefore power had neutered a naturally power hungry person .It was never about the nation

  • @andrewsbempah970
    @andrewsbempah970 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    To be frank,you guys failed abysmally to utilize the mandate,rule by decree,to transform the ghana economy.Ghana government key problem,inability to mobilize enough revenues domestically for government spending.The key reason for that is the eighty percent of the eligible workforce having informal jobs,and therefore not paying their fair share of taxes for infrastructure projects.You should have used the mandate to overcome the aforementioned problem.Ghana will be respected only if we can develop strategies to mobilize enough revenues domestically,and no longer be dependent on foreign grants and aids.One strong move to achieve that goal is to consolidate the highly fragmented retail sector of numerous petty traders and hawkers,and introduce large supermarket and departmental store chains across ghana.The quarterly sales report of these supermarkets will signal to policy makers whether the economy is overheating or cooling,and decision on the economy can be based on facts,Also you failed to modernise agriculture in ghana.

    Is not too late to prosecute the appointees during the Kufuor administration, criminal cases and causing financial loss to the state don't expire, if you still have the doc proceed to court Prof Ahwoi, just last month a 90+ man was sentenced for taking party in the nazi holocaust which happened some 60+ years ago. But if so prepare to spend the rest of your lyf in prison because yourself nd your brothers the Ahwoi's, Rawlings, Tsikata, Boakye Gyan and all the pndc gurus have caused a big dent in the countries progress by wasting and spending on the states assests
