Our first healthy find from Costco is chia seeds. This is a huge bag. So unless you do chia seeds, you add chia seeds to your smoothies to your salad every day, then do not buy this it would not be a good find for you. But if you're going to add it to your diet every day, then yes, this is a perfect find.
I would also store this in some airtight mason jars and store it in the refrigerator just to keep it as fresh as possible. I actually just cleaned out my pantry recently and had it throw away chia seed because I let it go rancid.
Number two, I actually picked up some cranberries as we’re coming into the holidays. And for the price point, this was a good buy. And just it says non-GMO. But really there shouldn't be anything GMO in the cranberries. But that is still kind of in an added safety, though mostly it's just an added selling point. But still, it's good to know. But anyway, this is a great big size, great good value for what you pay.
Another one of my healthy finds at Costco is avocado oil. This was one of the avocado oils that I suggested that you buy. • Good Vs. Bad Avocado O... So definitely get this at Costco, you can also get it online. This is the chosen foods avocado oil, it passed all the tests. It has actually avocado oil in it, and it has 100% pure avocado oil. Who would think you'd have to ask those questions, but we do and so this is definitely one of the top five products to buy at Costco.
Next is the dates. So here are some organic sun dried dates. Now this was a very good price point and totally worth buying. Because as we go into the holiday season, we're going to be cooking more sweets. Well I have some delicious recipes such as my baked fruit delight
thebiblicalnutritionist.com/b..., or my chocolate Jubilee cake and we use dates as the sweetener and so this is perfect So you not only can serve your family sweets for the holiday, but you can know that they're going to have fiber and nutrients and and plus dates is one of the seven foods or the promised land.
Now I also have some almonds. For the price point this was a good value. Now here's why almonds in the raw, not roasted is a good purchase item because they store if you keep them in the freezer, or in an airtight jar or container. Plus, if you ever have an issue where you need to be a prepper, and you need to make some milk, you could always make some almond milk. I have a video on how to make almond milk. • How do You Make Better...
So there you have it - my top healthy finds at Costco. I have a few more such as Ancient Grains granola, cumin and garlic powder, organic canned tomatoes and organic sugar. These will surely come in handy this holiday season.

I'm in Canada and some of my favorite Costco finds are, sprouted organic rolled oats, extra virgin olive oil in green bottle, organic nuts, fermented sauerkraut, organic cauliflower rice, frozen organic wild blueberries, almond flour crackers, almond flour, monk fruit sugar, organic coconut milk, Kirkland oat milk.

I’m confused a bit and hope to get some clarification. The cranberries have added sugar and isn’t that bad? It’s over 20 grams of added sugar

Hi Annette! I love Costco and buy Kirkland brand Sunsweet Dried Plums( or prunes) $10. Good deal. They keep me regular! I also buy Probiotic Apricots at Costco bc I love dried fruits. I bought a big bag of pecans like the almond you showed. Also love the glass jars of Italian green olives Paesana Organic pitted green olives. They have a wonderful flavor different than pimento olives and are a great deal around $6 for a big jar. . I love Daisy brand low-fat cottage cheese for only $5.99 great deal! I eat that topped with crushed pineapple or homemade cranberry sauce. Last time I went to found a big bag of Gluten free sprouted rolled oats . Another great healthy treat are That's it natural fruit bars. They only contain mango or blueberry or strawberry or apples only no sugar added or any other ingredients. I live nearby my Costco on the East Coast of Florida.

My friend loves Chia Seeds, but Almonds make her gag. I will share this information! Thanks, The Biblical Nutritionist! ❤

I just picked up some organic gluten free oatmeal just a couple of days ago at Costco. I also got the organic bag of ground flax seed which I have started sprinkling on my blueberry pancakes. Since I have been watching your videos I am trying to incorporate more healthy things in my diet. My husband and I eat quite healthy but could definitely do better. He grows a large garden and we freeze lots of the vegetables and eat them in the winter. 😊

Foods with Oxalates are a big deal not for everyone especially with kidney stones. Highly inflammatory.

  • @k.p.1139

I have sat though SO MANY Ag classes and you need to understand one quick thing. Organic does not MEAN healthy. If you ever really want to know. Find a food scientist that tests the actual foods. We have one here in Florida that takes you to the store. Guess what,? Many of the organic veggies are are worthless as the packaging they are stamped with. They were grown in poor soil, and poor soil gives you poor products. It's a dirt thing 😆😆

I buy the Go Raw Sprouted Organic Pumpkin Seeds. I put this on my avocado toast daily. Pumpkin seeds are high in zinc. I will also add some to homemade salsa. I stock up when they go on sale.

  • @Bonnieuxful

Thank you Annette❣️I but organic raspberries, salad greens, sometimes eggs, toilet paper, paper towels, halibut, chicken broth, bone broth, paper plates, garbage bags, canned tomatoes, beans, honey, maple syrup, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, organic sugar for humming birds, flowers, organic pasta, pens, nuts, cheeses, and lint rollers❣️😃❤️🍎🍓🫐🥬🧅🥚🥗🥜🫘

I've never had those chia seeds go rancid! I keep them in a glass jar in a dark cupboard. Currently working my way through a bag that I bought in 2020. And, I have never experienced spices going bad. IMO if they still taste and smell good, they are fine. Do we really think that the spices on the shelf at the store are less than 3 mos. old? Waste of money to throw them out! I really like the Organic tart Montmorency Cherries too. They help with inflammation, and I use them in steel cut oats with chia seeds, cinnamon, and molasses. FYI, if you haven't talked about it yet, I noticed a few months ago that Costco has removed the word "CANE" from the packages of organic sugar. Another reason not to buy because this is a giant flag that they are now using beet sugar instead of cane!

  • @charlenecausey105

Thank you!! I’m enjoying your content. One question I have about the Craisins. Isn’t it a lot of sugar? I doubt they would be “Bobby Approved” 😊

  • @amandamiller6356

Thanks for sharing! We just switched to Costco, because they offer a larger organic selection.

  • @sheilasimmons4451

    Chia seed store in freezer.

  • @AprilShowers1955

Thank you so very much for doing this at Costco’s! I have a membership card there and do love shopping there because of all that they really do offer! I hope you will return to Costco’s again and continue to highlight items that we can purchase! From what you have shown, I’ve already purchased and have stored about seven of these products: chia seeds, Chosen Avocado Oil, almonds, (walnuts, cashews, pistachios, etc), cumin seeds, Quaker Oats, Quinoa, Light Brown Rice, Basmati Rice, canned Diced Tomatoes, canned Tomato Paste & Tomato Sauce. That tells me I’m on the right track and I really appreciate knowing that! Would like to know what you think about the canned beans. They don’t have dry beans! Would love if you could make that request at Costco’s; they really do listen! 😊❤
