Man. I can't even begin to describe how much I love my xj. I got a 2000xj sport and I blew the motor 2k miles after I put the lift kit and everything else on it lol. Piston skirt broke, I ordered the s&j stroker engine to replace it. It's expensive but no regrets at all. I will be doing the Final assembly of the engine in my kitchen coz I live in an apartment and work as a mobile tech for a nationwide body shop company. I will be filming it and putting it on TH-cam as well as the recovery jobs I'll be doing after I get v2 done. Iono how many versions come after this but I'm excited already lol. Anybody else love their xj?

Great video... seeing Realhawk on TH-cam made me want to get my own American Hero ( XJ). My XJ project is all complete and I have used many of JCR Off road parts. I truly believe Jeep Cherokee (XJ) is one of last symbols of what "Made in USA" meant.

I’ve had CJs and Wranglers for 23 years now. Just bought my 1st XJ 3 weeks ago (should’ve bought one 20 yrs ago cuz it’s still totally stock but AWESOME) and looking forward to modding it out with some of y’all’s parts. Loving the bumpers you guys build and that will be my first buy from you guys.

Love the RealHawk. I am building my own XJ and have added your vanguard rear bumper, a front bumper, OME 3.5 inch lift, quick disconnects, 31 inch tires, fender flares, and will soon have the vanguard rear tire carrier with all the add-ons plus your gas tank skid and rock rails.
I am curious of what type of gas mileage to expect as I think mine is a bit low. It seems I am averaging about 180 miles per tank in my 2001 XJ with 156k miles on it. Is this normal?

I Love seeing you guys rolling around Schoolcraft on 131 south and back north in the old stomping grounds! I am proud JCR is from my old backyard. Let me know when you guys are itching for a new project and I'll give you my XJ and give it a JCR UPDATE! (That is NOT mine in my profile pic!) I have a nice 99 XJ with 4.5" R.E. lift running 33's the problem is the budget came into play when it came to me buying my bumpers and honestly I didn't learn about JCR until after I had made the purchase when a buddy of mine turned me on to you guys. Now that I know that one of the best brands in offroad are some MI boys from my backyard, I gotta have your products! You have earned your success through Reputation and word of mouth of many offroad nuts, Keep up The Great Work! Let Me know if you can hook a MI boy up! Best Wishes to all you Guys and Continued Success!

I've got a 2008 jk and a 97 xj with 260,000 miles on it and I still choose to drive the xj every day. Original motor in the xj no rebuilds, the auto trans was starting to slip and make noise at 240,000 so I swapped it out for a 5 speed. like to see the new Cherokee make it to 260,000.

Attention to detail is perfect. The fact that you rag on the jk owners makes me feel like im not the only one. Your cherokee is slick, any true jeep enthusiast would have waved. Wrangler owners against all others pretty much. I drive a grand and I actually got a wave for the first time in.. a year and a half? I couldnt believe it.. And mines all done up almost as much as your cherokee minus some drivetrain.
I also am very fond with the flares, going to be getting me a set eventually

I love your XJ. I am a huge fan of these sure, and the JK. I am also a realist too that not everyone will want to do what you did. IF I was making an XJ, I would make one like yours. My reality is though my KL Cherokee, yeah heresy, I get it, but I love it. Your comment about the Renegade, we have to remember it is the 21st century, and Jeep is reaching new markets. Would I love a solid axle XJ or a new version of that. Hell yeah! But I can buy a JK already, so yeah, I am lazy but also a realist. And yes a Jeep fan to the core. Loved your video.

My XJ is jealous. It is in need of so serious TLC. It lost the daily driver to the motorcycle for 3 years and can't make the 120 mile round trip commute this last year. I need to look more at your rear bumper, been wanting something to throw the spare tire on instead of laying in the back taking up space.
Did you do anything else to the motor besides the new exhaust? Has a great sound.

I helped my nephew purchase an XJ. We installed a 4 inch lift, larger tires and custom winch bumpers with lights. One day he comes over to show me what he got. He was all excited because he did an even trade. His XJ was traded for a Toyota Civic with less miles that was lowered, had a fart pipe, was primer ed for paint and had a loud radio. The piece of junk did have less miles than the XJ, but it had bow legged small rims and rode about two inches off the ground. I told him he was stupid and not to ask for any help when the pile of junk breaks down on him. Two weeks later, his junk pile fell into a moderate pothole and lost the front suspension, CV Joint drive axle and oil pan. I did not say a word. I think the piece of junk was toed to the junkyard. I hope he enjoyed his Fast and Furious Civic with a Vtech the short time it was blowing smoke out the fart can tail pipe.

Not exactly. Cherokee stopped production (in the US not in China) in 2001, the JKU started 2007. I think they definitely follow a similar goal though.

As a Toy owner the thing I have to say I like most about Jeep is owning my Toy , well that and the entertainment provided by Jeep owners anytime they engage 4wd for more than a slippery drive to the mall in Winter .
