Getting over the initial chaos in arena was the biggest hurtle for me. Every game felt like that opening scene from Saving Private Ryan on D-Day where he has shellshock and his ears are ringing. He’s looking around and all he sees is explosions and everyone is on fire and missing body parts.

I tried this on my Rdruid and I finally made it to 1800 rating.. I started at 2400 rating though, something didn't go right.

Here is what I ultimately did to finally, 10 years later, get 2.4k:
- stop class jumping pick a class and stick to it.
- stop watching TH-cam and instead record and watch your own games! you will learn to identify your faults.
- make sure your UI doesn't have useless info and bloat. For example I used omnibar but never really looked at it during my games until I started warching my own games while keeping an eye on things I missed this will ultimatly increase your awareness tenfold.

2.4k in 3s or solo shuffle? Big difference, because if u struggle 10 years imo only thing that can help you is new, braindead arena type which we get in dragonflight

Ive hit 2200 so far and this is my first ever season playing ranked pvp. I just blast the dps meters and cc when i can. Even if the cc is on a dps its about getting as much uptime as your team can while making your enemies have as little uptime as possible.
I like how the videos are always like "be aggressive, CC properly, watch your positioning, trade CDs efficiently".
Next video will be like "just be better" and people in the comments will still clap as if it actually helped.
He is no aggresive enough. He has not call everyone bitch yet.
Every solo shuffle I do is tell the other DPS to attack the weakest target based on spec, switch to the other DPS when a cooldown is used, then swap back. Being aggressive in solo shuffle is the best strategy to win especially if you are melee.
What happened to your other voice-over person? Much preferred his narration to this current.

This has to be a joke. Man it was a battle getting out of the 1400 bracket in SS. Took over 300 games. And like 60 to get from 14 to 19.

I’d like to see more of them analysing actual games rather than take snippets. The things I encounter is far from these issues they talk about in so many videos. Seriously as a caster trying with the amount of gap closers and stops melee have. Especially when you’re under geared. Feels horrible trying to catch up. I don’t get to play compared to most and that’s the biggest problem. Lack of practice so it’s extremely demotivating. So it’s a “L2P” issue maybe but seems there’s no hope for average casual Andy’s. No doubt there’ll be someone out there that says “I play 2/3 hours a week and I’m 2.4k”…..if so share your secrets.
While there's no substitute for practice, the value of that practice can be vastly improved by reviewing your gameplay. Record your games, and watch them back while you're in the shuffle queue. 2-3 hours of play with vod review is honestly more valuable than double or even triple the gametime without it.

how is this braindead when you have to keep track of multiple things and know the nuances of everyy class/comp. Also this is not just for wow this basically works for any game and even in real life.

Rng matters too a warrior hitting you with a 50k rather than 100k strike is many times the difference in cd management. Guess what guys the game is dynamic and these guides are ok for fresh max level but anything after that is situational awareness and class mastery.
