European Air Charter McDonnell Douglas MD-82 Erfurt to Burgas + bonus Antonov AN-12!

This video is the trip report from a special flight. After we have flown the MD--83, MD-88 and MD-90 (and yes, MD-95 better known as Boeing 717), the MD-82 was still missing. That is why we opted for the last chance to fly one in Europe. It is even the last chance to fly any type of MadDog in Europe, which is a sad thought. Yet, we are thankfull for this experience! The flight is from Erfurt Weimar Airport in Germany to Burgas in Bulgaria. As the flight is not entirely full, we had some space to wander around and explore the retro beauty of this stunning DC-9 successor.

SAS and Spanair had loads. Loved the crazy steep take offs and engine noise as we took off to from CPH to European destinations. I recall a crazy/scary last minute turnaround at LHR that captain apologised for and a turbulent filight to MAD where the wings really were swinging about.
