It's fascinating to think that the sunwing and The waterwing are not the only machines with this model of pterosaur, that there are more with different shapes, attributes and specific tasks that are in different parts of The world. Imagine an azdarchid, with it's long neck and head like a sword and built for combat, it would be incredible

I just had my first fight against 3 waterwings at the same time. I had no idea those things have more than twice the HP of Ravager. I took the fight like I would take on 3 sunwings, expecting it to be easy. Oh I was running around almost helplessly at the start, not knowing what exactly to do. 3 machines is usually not that bad, but when they are hyper aggressive, fast and first encounter I had a lot of trouble figuring out what weapon to use against them and how to avoid their attacks. In the end I ended up facetanking them with Toughened VR while throwing explosive spikes as long as I had blastplates to craft more, but somehow in the end I won. Extremely frustrating 20 minutes, if ultra hard didn't lock the difficulty setting I would load back a save, turn the game on story mode and use those waterwings as stressballs.
@@johann4097 You need to talk to Sylens after the final boss and completing main story to get to the Burning Shores DLC area, that's where you can find waterwings, as well as Bileguts, tons of Legendary gear and a whole lot of more places to explore and do.
Im quite surprised that Guerrilla made a water mount early I thought they would make one in Horizon 3 (so far we have, water mount, fly mount, combat mount)!
Weapons spotlights, please! How to coil for which effects! And then armor. I have a few go-to weapons I use but want to know what I'm missing. Also, I'm missing a bunch of them and want tips to acquiring them all.
@@unknown_2552 yikes! I've seen people's build outs, and their explanations, but I feel like I need all that in one place. Here are some things I don't pay close attention to that probably matter: The expense of crafting ammo for a class of bows (Sharpshot bows are expensive! Warrior bows are cheap!) The various perks on specific bows and their advantage - I mostly pay attention to ammo type and range, but not much else. Various ammos I don't really understand, like armor piercing arrows seem useless. And proper coil combos - I think a fire bow should be coiled with fire coils but there's more to coils than that.
Too bad I can't play it... I have only PS4 and it doesn't seem to be added there for anytime soon 😢 But I'm glad just to see that there are more machines, more story to see, and more things in general! 😌😊

I love my waterwing, I’ve taken him to visit every place of the original map, but damn, they’re crazy beasts! Fighting them is a nightmare

I think Sunwings appearance is better xD (in my opinion) but the Waterwing has a unique beak and purpose (wing filters)!
