I always watch your videos to see which classic screamo riffs you're gonna play
That why I like these too. Awesome restoration and riffs
lmao same
You should hear me screaming at my iPhone screen… “NO NOT A VEENER!!!”
why?
@@mediumstudio it is a sex toy

You are right. It started off cool and now it’s just plain. I felt sad watching this.
You did a great job on this guitar. Who ever was the owner just destroyed it, but you restored back to a beautiful guitar. Excellent work my friend. I would love to have the skill to do this.
I didn't like this job. High-quality painting is needed, not oil impregnation.
Talk about a totally different instrument by the time you got through with it! As usual, you drew the beauty out of a guitar this side of destroyed and that's always a wonderful thing. Great work!
Where do you get your replacement parts

Riiiiiiight….
Love the restorations, love the playing of the guitars once complete! Great work
If it Bewildered By Think by The New Fundamentlians?
This is by far my favorite one you have doné. Such an amazing Job. I wish I had your skill level.
Yea some of the guys that do restorations NEVER plug in and play, this is nice to see and hear the end result
i like how youve started leaving some of the nicks and dings in the wood, it gives the guitars a well-loved look while still looking well cared for. You bring these back to life, good job my friend :)
I just don't understand why, these former owners of these guitar trash them like this. The one good thing is it alway give us a good restoration video. 😊
Because the meaning of life to those who owned it previously was to live it, breath on it, use it, abuse it, love it, get angry with it, cry on it, be happy with it, and eventually it will out live us.not like we live now, where most of us have forgotten how to live, instead we now admire our purchases, marvel at it, stare at it, keep them in glass cabinets only for dust to collect on it, have the original boxes with original serial numbers, thats not life, that's collecting! Great vid!
@@beattrixer7947 I understand what you're saying. And I agree that guitars are not meant to be locked up in glass cabinets to gather dust. They are instruments meant to be played, loved and enjoyed. But how can you love something so much and then let it fall into such a state of disrepair? I own guitars, which get dirty from being used, but I take the time to repair minor issues and clean them every time I rest. Either way, the way guitars are restored on this channel is fantastic.
Fender calls it road worn lmao
that guitar was so unloved , and treated like it was garbage .
It seems to me that Asian rockers are very hard on their instruments. Why ?
Fender series MN numbers!94~95's guitar!i have one made in mexico
Some people should not have a single guitar
MN667310 - made in 1996-1997. Fender Telecaster HS.
Poderia ter deixado ela coloridona, fica a dica. No mais bom trabalho. Um abraço!
Hi Friend ! Despite its ugly conditions, this nice MIM Fender Telecaster was very well preserved ! Adding a wood veneering on the top is a brilliant idea that turns this Telly into a vamp ! For sure, one of your best restoration ever ! Thank you for sharing your great skills and for this nice video !
So, maybe a '96-'97 Tele. But this restoration seems a bit weird to me. Kinda fake. It looks like it was done for the video. I live in japan and I never see these guitars for sale here.
Kids-----. They don't pay for them and they don't care what they do with them. Mommy and Daddy will buy another.
You’re as good at restoring these as you are at ruining them lol
Good for you!
I'm Catholic. It's a sin to throw good food out.
Those polyester finishes are a SIN! And modern Fender is using them. Shame on Fender.
That Tele is good meat and has another zillion years of use.
1. Adding a veneer to a guitar without a binding is a stupid idea. not only it looks ugly, but the ends will split in time, especially hand and leg position, somehow you always manage to screw up this guitars somehow. 2. not all the guitars need to be shiny to be beautiful. The only thing that guitar was needing was a cleanup and a proper setup/fretwork/wiring.
People do this because they think they’re going to be famous one day and the guitar will be an original. Very contrived.
The previous owner of this guitar either loved it with everything or hated it with everything. There can be no in between.
Just think if the guitar was painted by Warhol or Basquiat, you'd be out millions of dollars!
I really hate how these stupid people treat instruments! How do they leave a good guitar like this ruined like that! Lack of care, love for music and self-love!!
Play something reminiscent of music on the thing. Stop beating it up.
Awesome. Except I find natural and wood finishes the most boring in the world. AAAAA+ fkin yuk. These guitars are electric.
They should hit you like a pimped ferrari, not a Fkin fishing boat that graddaddy Jack "likes the varnish" on.
Anyone know what is being put on the guitar at 13:42, and what the American equivalent of it would be. Going to be building a guitar soon.
Wow, people do some really bad things to good guitars
I would've limited the restoration effort to a strip,, fill, sand & paint. It was paint grade wood to start with as a Player Series.
It looked better before. Just needed a clean, fret leveling. Now it looks boring as hell.
I'd still like to know where you get these decently made guitars that look like they all belong to the same dork, who treats them like sh*t then sells them to you to make money with videos. It's too weird.
Always enjoy your emo, mathrock, punk playing at the end 👌, the restoration is always top and notch 👍
Why didn't you replace the chunk of missing wood between the neck and neck pickup??
Damn dude i bet you had a lot of fun straighting out that rats nest of pots and pick up wiring and all of the electronics on this one man.
You don't have a CLUE about guitars 🙄🤦
Great job but why is this laminated top? The back side looks more vintage. Also this laminated too is way more loosy than the body itself
why didn't you fix the neck cavity hole?.....
What about these two cracks spreading out of neck pocket?
I wonder how long the veneer will stay down ?
is this like an older variant of MIM fenders? Because I thought MIM fenders have MX instead of MN as their prefix in the serial number
How dare you sir, You just stole this guitars life and stories from it.
I badly scratched and painted a guitar, then I cleaned it.
How come you’re so attached to that worn out wire-brush 😅
How do people find guitars like these? I wanna do some restorations of my own but idk how
You can usually find old junked out guitars at flea markets, BUT, im a bit skeptical of most of these guitar restos because the fretboards, frets, and necks always look like they are in very good shape compared to the rest of the guitar. Im not necessarily saying they are "aging" the guitars themselves, but heavily played guitars usually have heavily worn frets and dirty fretboards, and maple fret boards usually show that the most. The fretboard is where most of your labor is going to come in when making a guitar playable again, and you also have to hope the truss rod is working. So, its a bit of a crapshoot when buying a used and abused guitar, though even perfectly good looking guitars can have issues with the truss rod.
Where do you find these guitars. I never come across stuff like this.
It is always nice when someone uses and Iron on a paper towel method to help bond wood vaneer to a guitar, It's an age old tradition in guitar build/repairing.
You've left it as if it had just come out of the factory... Well, if I can't get the old Squier strato that I'm "customizing" sound, I'd send it to you to see what you can do to it.I'll give you a hint. You'd have a lot of paint to remove and wood to repair Hahahahahaha.
New wood looks like CRAP. Old wood was better
I have the same Majority Rule shirt :D I got it when during their reunion show with Pg.99
Looks great but i would of given it 2 to 3 coats of clear and wet sanded it before cutting back with polish make it glassy as well as classy.
When you started, it looked like something that belonged to a demented baboon on crack with rabies.
Now it looks like something that an actual musician would own, and play something that you would want to listen to.
you have definitely un-punked it.
very nicely done.
Previous owner is a punk. As punkers usually are.
When you look at these guitar's at the beginning you think oh that poor guitar, then you see the transformation and you think great she's saved.
Excellent video! Informative, to the point, and brief! Thank you for keeping TH-cam useful.

Did you do anything with that large crack visible at 7:20?
Very Nice, i also love that Roland Chorus Amp with the JBL 12"s those are really clean, good Guitar Runs also

A normal person can play her again 👍
Love your videos. You should invest in Ultrasonic cleaner for the metal parts, they are really affordable, she will get into all the tight spots
blows my mind what people will do to an instrument. Watching you put such care and skill in restoring it is so good to see. Thank you.
I have to watch your ENTIRE videos because I enjoy the music and love the restoration.
that Posh Spice sticker in the back 😍😍
Made in México great job buddy Say hello from Venezuela 🇻🇪🎸🎙️👍🏻🤘
Hi friend u do amazing job love this guitar
Wow 😱🇧🇷👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎸🙋🏻♂️
Where do you find all these old guitars? I really want get one and try to restore it.
Great work! If you don’t mind: what was your sand paper grit progression on the tops and back? And what grit did you use on the laminate piece? Thanks for your time!
33:47 No need to address the crack in the neck, on the bass side screws?
All right a mexican fender telecaster, i wanna have one i am mexican
I would have oiled the bare body - that's nice ash. Love that yoiu only polished the ashtray in front of the pup - a period feature. Great to see a worthy Tele back in use.
Great job I think I would fixed the neck pocket
When I first saw the thumbnail and beginning of the video I thought it might be like the flowered Tele that Jeff Buckley sometimes played.
Wonderful job!
Is that a five piece body??? Good gravy Fender, what's the deal?? Great work as always, my good man!!
o inimigo do punk
Buen trabajo!! Saludos
I really liked the natural wood over the wood cover but I’ll see by the end of the
De donde sacas tantas guitarras viejas?
😊👍👌 Excellent job restoring the Fender Telecaster guitar. Looks way better than before!! 😊
You might try a wood conditioner to get more even staining.
