Still sounds and looks so damned good! Seger is one of the reasons why I started playing guitar. He is so magnificent. I remember my auntie playing his records, I grabbed one and told her "I love him!" Never saw anyone look so beautiful! Such an awesome presence. He is the epitome of what a real Rock N Roll legend should be: great voice, wonderful songwriter, classy and honest. He has never had to bend a principle or change the way he is to please anyone. The man is a legend and he has always succeeded his way. With his own talent and with guts because back then the airwaves were crowded with real talent and it was hard to stand out. Seger proved he has clout when he proved he was not a Waylon Jennings wannabe like some idiots said he was.
i also was there. took the train from albany. it was my first time at MSG. what an incredible evening. fun to walk around manhattan. i do not know the actual number of seger shows i have been to over the years.
WOW grew up as a youngen in the 70’s but knew exactly who bob segar was, a legend!!! It’s amazing how great he sounds!!!! Unlike Bon Jovi who I went to originally see skid row who was opening up for him in Philly, but back then Bon Jovi blew my doors off. This guy still rocked awesome In his older age!!! Going to be sorely missed
