A lot of people make this mistake regarding contact cement contact cement works great. You just need to use a water-based contact cement not solvent based.
The first paint scheme ( I'm calling it Mountains of Tri-Tip) made me hungry. The second paint scheme was gorgeous in a more terrain type of way. The final on is my definite favorite. Well done. New sub here.
A great bit of inspiration 🎉
These are great! I love how the paint job turned out. Super happy I came across your video as I am about to build some similar pieces of terrain.
Absolutely phenomenal paint job
Thank you!
Joint compount all day... super fun. I prefer that and the paint a little on the dry side... and a misting of rubbing alcohol will age the stone too
That's an interesting idea. I'll have to try that sometime.
Looks great man loved seeing all the trial and error :D
Thank you :p I don't have a ton of prior experience doing this so I will no doubt be doing a lot of trial and error in future videos as well haha
The end result is amazing!!!

Thanks! The first one reminds me of slabs of meat :p
These look really good. I like the fact that you explained what didn’t work as well as what did. Very nice video - subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
You did a fantastic job Haunts! Proud of you bro!
Thanks man! :)
Good thing I saw the entire video because I was gonna give up on you after the 1st reddish paint 😅. But at the end I liked it very much, nice job!
Thanks! I always try to salvage my f*** ups :p
Matte medium by itself works great to reduce glossy areas.
Nice work! Look forward to more projects! Subbed! 👍🍻👍
Thank you :)
Can you pls tell what exact names of the paints you used 🙏🏻
