Would love for this amazing Scotsman to breed with my eldest daughter who remains single and has also studied Acting to an academic standard. Having said that I have just finished watching Outlander series 5 on Prime - because of lockdown I did 12 hours over 24 hours. Outlander is like medication for my soul and afterwards I was emotionally exhausted. Series 5 is utterly amazing in historical authenticity and emotional impact - as all the series are - but series 5 even more so. Sam and Caitriona are absolutely untouchable in their acting skills with each other. I know nothing has and never will be able to compete with this production in its entirety, it’s rendition of human behaviour and history and it’s ability to capture and shock it’s audience. All the actors play their parts with great authenticity. Because of what I have said above there is something very special about the Outlander series because it is essentially dealing with the human condition and human wrongs head on - because of this it is a learning tool for improving the human condition through confrontation - much like the second testament of the bible - through our saviour.

Haaha! Ironically my mom and her family are English in my dad and his family are Scottish as well. Interesting to hear that's the way Sam's family is. I have a distant great grandmother who was friends and she married my Scottish great-grandfather. My dad's family were from the Highlanders and came to the colonies. Dad always said that our family we were all a bunch of outcasts and rejects ( Gaelic Highlanders) Duncans & Harris through and through.
The one thing that's true about Scottish people as that we love to laugh!!! We've all got The Gift of Gab in our family and I'm the most homebody of everyone else because everyone is more social than I. I've never been to Scotland but in my dad's best friend, Ian Bell, was born and raised in Edinboro and he got his degree in engineering and moved to the USA. Dad's been overseas with him in Europe drinking and eating.
Sam is a really good actor! I know it's taking him a long time,, as he said it took years to get a really good acting job, but he's humble.
