Wonderful interview, love all that Sam does. I have a theory about the end of Outlander. I think Diana has several endings written and will “ fit” the appropriate one to the moment according to how she feels about the particular circumstances. Just a thought!

I am very thankful that Sam signed on to work on Outlander. It's the best series ever, and I am in my late 60s. It's hard to pick a favorite actor, but Sam takes the top spot. I do hope Everest happens. Sam would be the perfect person. He's the best! ❤️❤️

Ah our lovely Sam - who has remained his sweet self, despite bumping up against the coven in Hollywood.... thank goodness! It is rare to find a man who is not only physically beautiful, but also genuinely nice, personable, humble and funny too. (AND an incredible actor!) #samisperfect
I think it’s also helpful that he gained all of this fame and recognition in his 30’s-more comfortable in his skin. Had he been a teenager or something he might be a hot mess at this point.

I've only recently discovered Outlander on Netflix & it completely took over every spare second I had binge watching right up to Series 6. Such amazing talented actors. Like Sam, I'm normally drawn to documentaries but this Series is one worth viewing. Sam is just so likable in every interview I've seen him in. Great interview, massive fan as you can tell ❤

I remember when I first discovered Outlander on Netflix when I was severely depressed. It sounds hyperbolic, but it might haved my life. There were only 3 seasons to binge at the time, but then I got into the books--all 8 of them.
I envy your experience of having just discovered Outlander. It's an amazing ride. I hope you discover the books too. I have re-watched and re-read more times than I'm willing to admit. Have fun. 😘

Sam has a amazing. Watched Outlanders twice. I think he was nervous during this podcast because he kept picking at his face and scratching it. It took away from the pod. Still love him!

Incredible interview. Sam displays great talent and an endearing, honest personality. I hope he chooses dramatic roles that tap into his depth of self awareness and his ability to manage relationships. He dealt with so many relational conflicts in Outlander which showed his breadth of talent. His comedic talent was also evident. Yes, the new Tom Hanks.

This interview is as delightfully informative and enjoyable as the last sweaty interview between you two upon the release of SAS:Red Notice. When the two of you get going, you feed off each other in extraordinarily expressive and creative ways, and I end up learning a great deal about both of you. So many glorious, sweaty, revealing and dramatic gesticulations betwixt the two of you! Your friendship brings out the best in both of you.
I have never before enjoyed so much watching two people with such a proliferation of ways to try to cool down, even as you both wax ever more effusive in your conversation. Sam’s hair didn’t curl as much this time as in your previous damp interview. 😅 Perhaps his room was a wee bit cooler than yours this time.

Excellent interview !!! I enjoyed every minute !!! Sam was SO relaxed, animated, unguarded, and we got to see his great personality, and his sense of humor. The connection between you and Sam helped to set the theme for the interview !!! I've been lucky to see Sam in person 3 times at comic cons, and my dream for this "mature" grandmother is to meet him "in person" just to chat. This interview was close to
perfect to my dream....I smiled and laughed.

Great interview. I am much older than Alex and Sam but I loved Sideways and Indiana Jones and Back To the Future and I think Turner and Hooch is way underrated. The first time I saw it I couldn't stop laughing. Hanks is one of my favourite actors. I also don't get Marvel movies. Outlander is my favourite TV series. A wonderful interview with fun questions where you find out a lot about the person being interviewed. Most interviews seem to be the same questions. Bravo!
He would make a great Indiana Jones. The Indiana Jones of paleontology would be a great character for him. Some one bought the rights to to Mr Hall's biography..
Love this interview; in spite of being so hot and sweating it out, he was very open and didnt hesitate to answer questions regarding Just about everything. Not the same usual questions most interviewers ask,mosty about outlander. Learned more about his interests, and humor thrown in. Love him.

Sam is such a dream. I’m such a die hard outlander fan. Can’t wait for his new project with Demelza from Poldark! Another fav of mine. Man to be next to him😍 I’m close in age to him and it’s nice to know there’s great conversationalist out there. Reminds me of talking with my granny. We would talk and talk about everything. Love it! I’m the same age as Sam, and my mum also took me to see The Piano 😅 Single mum in the 90ies was crazy 😂 I was shooked, but it is a masterpiece of a movie 🙌🏼
I am a couple years older, but my cousins, sister, & I convinced my Aunt to take us to see Purple Rain in the theater, I would have been 7 y/o LOL

Omg. When he asked the question about Sam’s best memory I was thinking about the beginning of Jurassic Park and the horde of dinosaurs stampede coming up over the hill and they all have to jump behind the log to not get trampled. That CGI was just amazing for the time.
I love The Piano, beautifully shot and acted. Not a movie for an adolescent to watch with his Mum though 🤣

Regarding pizza at the movies, when I lived in NY I was at the movies at midday--my favorite time because it feels so decadent. At some point, in the middle of the movie, a pizza delivery guy came in and yelled out the name of the person who'd ordered the pizza. A once in a lifetime experience.

I wanted to go to Ireland and Scotland. I recently discovered that I am half Italian and half Scottish. I read a tourist guide. Mentioned wat not to do. Included picnics and selfies on the battle ground. I cried and cried more. I cannot watch till the end of Outlander. The Battle of Culloden and only the very beginning and I stopped. But those curls in the first season. I can’t separate the actor from Jamie Frazier. I am so embarrassed. Plus I am too old.
What a brilliant podcast... huge Sam Heughan fan thanks to Outlander... have to admit Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was a brilliant movie, lots of fun Harrison & Sean played off one another so well. Can't wait to watch Sam's new tv series when it's released ... thoroughly enjoyed Love Again.
A great conversation with Sam. Love him in the “Outlander” tv series - it will be interesting to see where he goes afterwards. I agree with Sam - the popcorn here in the US is awful - even without “butter” it tastes stale.

"The piano" est connu en français sous le titre : "La leçon de piano" Palme d'Or à Cannes en 1993.
Curieusement, il y a une scène d'Outlander (je ne me souviens plus dans quelle saison) qui s'inspire de celle tournée dans "La leçon de piano".
C'est la scène où Claire tombe à l'eau lors d'un cyclone et reste coincée au fond retenue par un câble. Je pense que les scénaristes se sont inspirés de cette scène du film pour tourner celle de Outlander.
Votre mère a très bon goût, Sam, c'est un des grands films du XX ème siècle.
Ceci dit, je comprends que pour un adolescent de 13 ans, accompagné de sa mère, certaines scènes aient pu être gênantes.
