I am very thankful that Sam signed on to work on Outlander. It's the best series ever, and I am in my late 60s. It's hard to pick a favorite actor, but Sam takes the top spot. I do hope Everest happens. Sam would be the perfect person. He's the best! ❤️❤️
I've only recently discovered Outlander on Netflix & it completely took over every spare second I had binge watching right up to Series 6. Such amazing talented actors. Like Sam, I'm normally drawn to documentaries but this Series is one worth viewing. Sam is just so likable in every interview I've seen him in. Great interview, massive fan as you can tell ❤
I remember when I first discovered Outlander on Netflix when I was severely depressed. It sounds hyperbolic, but it might haved my life. There were only 3 seasons to binge at the time, but then I got into the books--all 8 of them. I envy your experience of having just discovered Outlander. It's an amazing ride. I hope you discover the books too. I have re-watched and re-read more times than I'm willing to admit. Have fun. 😘

I think it’s also helpful that he gained all of this fame and recognition in his 30’s-more comfortable in his skin. Had he been a teenager or something he might be a hot mess at this point. Things happen when they are supposed to, I guess

This interview was close to perfect to my dream....I smiled and laughed.
This interview is as delightfully informative and enjoyable as the last sweaty interview between you two upon the release of SAS:Red Notice. When the two of you get going, you feed off each other in extraordinarily expressive and creative ways, and I end up learning a great deal about both of you. So many glorious, sweaty, revealing and dramatic gesticulations betwixt the two of you! Your friendship brings out the best in both of you. I have never before enjoyed so much watching two people with such a proliferation of ways to try to cool down, even as you both wax ever more effusive in your conversation. Sam’s hair didn’t curl as much this time as in your previous damp interview. 😅 Perhaps his room was a wee bit cooler than yours this time. Thank you both! I’m very fond of you both.
Great interview. I am much older than Alex and Sam but I loved Sideways and Indiana Jones and Back To the Future and I think Turner and Hooch is way underrated. The first time I saw it I couldn't stop laughing. Hanks is one of my favourite actors. I also don't get Marvel movies. Outlander is my favourite TV series. A wonderful interview with fun questions where you find out a lot about the person being interviewed. Most interviews seem to be the same questions. Bravo!

Incredible interview. Sam displays great talent and an endearing, honest personality. I hope he chooses dramatic roles that tap into his depth of self awareness and his ability to manage relationships. He dealt with so many relational conflicts in Outlander which showed his breadth of talent. His comedic talent was also evident. Yes, the new Tom Hanks.

2 weeks ago, I found Outlander on Starz. I binged watched all 7 seasons. I loved it. I recently had my Ancestry DNA done and found out I'm 46% Scottish. It was a nice surprise, but I really didn't know anything about Scotland. I live in Oregon USA. I really love the 18th century clothing. I feel I must have lived a past life in Scotland. I think we are part of our ancestors. Hopefully a life we'll lived.❤❤😊❤❤😊❤❤

Curieusement, il y a une scène d'Outlander (je ne me souviens plus dans quelle saison) qui s'inspire de celle tournée dans "La leçon de piano". C'est la scène où Claire tombe à l'eau lors d'un cyclone et reste coincée au fond retenue par un câble. Je pense que les scénaristes se sont inspirés de cette scène du film pour tourner celle de Outlander. Votre mère a très bon goût, Sam, c'est un des grands films du XX ème siècle. Ceci dit, je comprends que pour un adolescent de 13 ans, accompagné de sa mère, certaines scènes aient pu être gênantes.

Regarding pizza at the movies, when I lived in NY I was at the movies at midday--my favorite time because it feels so decadent. At some point, in the middle of the movie, a pizza delivery guy came in and yelled out the name of the person who'd ordered the pizza. A once in a lifetime experience.

YES - Thank you. Indiana Jones IS the BEST!! The week before we saw Mission Impossible and although the stunts were great did not compare to the story line of a fizzier sending theNazis back to the Roman invasion of Sicily- Wow but I also love the Star Trek/ Star Wars stuff. Where do we go next? Would you right a Sci-Fi book for movie or TV??
I wanted to go to Ireland and Scotland. I recently discovered that I am half Italian and half Scottish. I read a tourist guide. Mentioned wat not to do. Included picnics and selfies on the battle ground. I cried and cried more. I cannot watch till the end of Outlander. The Battle of Culloden and only the very beginning and I stopped. But those curls in the first season. I can’t separate the actor from Jamie Frazier. I am so embarrassed. Plus I am too old.
My favorite line is in a TV series: "Well, I guess that means yer comin' with me." It's not the line so much as the way it's delivered. I'm going to miss you as Jamies, Sam. I think we're all going to go into serious mouring, like Queen Victoria.
Never eat the popcorn in a movie theatre. I can never eat during a movie. I’m with you Sam, save eating for after. And a sipping gin or scotch would be lovely!❤️🥃
This was a great interview! I do love some Marvel movies though 😅. I hope you watch Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, Sam! It was really good and the whole Guardians trilogy are some of my favorite movies.
The Piano is an absolutely brilliant film shot in NZ, directed by Jane Campion. Amazing cast. But not suitable for a young person. It is an adult film.
During every interview, Sam naturally conveys his personality and always speaks with great love about his country, its history. I fell in love with Scotland. Sam is the best example of a good person and a strong, sensitive man.

Omg. When he asked the question about Sam’s best memory I was thinking about the beginning of Jurassic Park and the horde of dinosaurs stampede coming up over the hill and they all have to jump behind the log to not get trampled. That CGI was just amazing for the time.

I binged watched all 7 seasons. I loved it.
I recently had my Ancestry DNA done and found out I'm 46% Scottish. It was a nice surprise, but I really didn't know anything about Scotland.
I live in Oregon USA.
I really love the 18th century clothing.
I feel I must have lived a past life in Scotland.
I think we are part of our ancestors.

What a brilliant podcast... huge Sam Heughan fan thanks to Outlander... have to admit Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was a brilliant movie, lots of fun Harrison & Sean played off one another so well. Can't wait to watch Sam's new tv series when it's released ... thoroughly enjoyed Love Again.
Sam is a very talented man. Enjoyed the book about his life I listened to him read it. I feel like I know him as a person now.
A kindred spirit, and definitely a Taurus. ♉️ 💕 Its crazy how we have a LOT of the same likes and dislikes. Marvel/Star Wars stuff kinda sucks. The Piano 🎹 movie was traumatizing. Documentaries are the best because you are entertained and learning at the same time. The list goes on. 🥹

"The piano" est connu en français sous le titre : "La leçon de piano" Palme d'Or à Cannes en 1993.
Curieusement, il y a une scène d'Outlander (je ne me souviens plus dans quelle saison) qui s'inspire de celle tournée dans "La leçon de piano".
C'est la scène où Claire tombe à l'eau lors d'un cyclone et reste coincée au fond retenue par un câble. Je pense que les scénaristes se sont inspirés de cette scène du film pour tourner celle de Outlander.
Votre mère a très bon goût, Sam, c'est un des grands films du XX ème siècle.
Ceci dit, je comprends que pour un adolescent de 13 ans, accompagné de sa mère, certaines scènes aient pu être gênantes.

Great interview! It’s always a pleasure to watch interviews with Sam. He is so funny and smart and he gives his honest opinions on things. I must agree with him on super heroes movies. I feel the same. He is such a talented actor and I wish him many more great roles!

Regarding pizza at the movies, when I lived in NY I was at the movies at midday--my favorite time because it feels so decadent. At some point, in the middle of the movie, a pizza delivery guy came in and yelled out the name of the person who'd ordered the pizza. A once in a lifetime experience.

YES - Thank you. Indiana Jones IS the BEST!! The week before we saw Mission Impossible and although the stunts were great did not compare to the story line of a fizzier sending theNazis back to the Roman invasion of Sicily- Wow but I also love the Star Trek/ Star Wars stuff. Where do we go next? Would you right a Sci-Fi book for movie or TV??

I wanted to go to Ireland and Scotland. I recently discovered that I am half Italian and half Scottish. I read a tourist guide. Mentioned wat not to do. Included picnics and selfies on the battle ground. I cried and cried more. I cannot watch till the end of Outlander. The Battle of Culloden and only the very beginning and I stopped. But those curls in the first season. I can’t separate the actor from Jamie Frazier. I am so embarrassed. Plus I am too old.

This was a great interview! I do love some Marvel movies though 😅. I hope you watch Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, Sam! It was really good and the whole Guardians trilogy are some of my favorite movies.

The Piano is an absolutely brilliant film shot in NZ, directed by Jane Campion. Amazing cast. But not suitable for a young person. It is an adult film.
During every interview, Sam naturally conveys his personality and always speaks with great love about his country, its history. I fell in love with Scotland. Sam is the best example of a good person and a strong, sensitive man.
