EDITED FOR ACCURACY* Fun Fact: The actor playing Grimbo(physically) is apparently really famous in Russia for his music, which Jontron and crew had no idea about when they cast him.
@@deadliteplus9188 I swear to God I saw Jontron mention that they found out some time after the video that the guy doing Grimbo (appearance, not voice) was actually famous or something and they couldn't get him back because of it, but I can't for the life of me find it anywhere now when I'm looking for it. I guess take it with a grain of salt? Unless someone else is more successful than me in finding where Jon mentions the actor.
Props to Chad for remembering Sneak King. It’s surprisingly fun and really stupid. I used to go into first person mode and pretend it was a Michael Myers game when I was an edgy early teenager. The King’s ominous breathing just fit so well.
Game Boy came out in 1989 and it was discontinued in 2003. Game Boy Color came out in 1998, I remember how revolutionary it was because they finally made Game Boy in color! I also remembered the commercial for Game Boy Camera and the printer!
One game that I hold as you do “Sneak King”, and that’s my salvaged 360 “Naughty Bear Gold”. It’s not the best game by any means, but I love that thing. Lol.
no one will ever tell me otherwise Burgerking games for the xbox was peak marketing for fast food games. The bumper car the racing the sneak king. All amazing
one thing I remember about game gear was it wanted to be everything and you can buy a tv antenna for it. But this was like late 90's early 2000's and like cable was becoming a bigger thing and watching pbs on your gamegear wasn't as fun.
My favorite food games are Cool spot, Captain crunch's crunchling adventure, Chex quest 1 and 2, kool aid man for atari, pepsi invaders, McDonald's treasure land adventure, and pepsiman.
The first console I remember playing on was the SEGA Genesis at my Aunt Nancy's place, but the first one my family owned was a PS1. My dad told me before we used to own a SNES, but I honestly don't remember that. What I DO remember playing a lot on is the PS2, and there were - not fast food games, but movie tie-ins, which mostly were around the same quality. 😆 Dreamworks movies, Disney/Pixar, a whole buncha shit like that.
After you finish part 2 you should definitely check out the "10 Year Hunt for the Lost McDonalds Game", it's a pretty wild ride with a lot of plot twists
The Gameboy came out in 1989 lol I remember that Captain Crunch game. My friend had it when I was a kid and I never made it anywhere because it took SOOOO LOOOONG to progress Looking forward to your reaction to part 2. In my opinion it's even better than this one lol

I never knew that, where did they state that? I also love the fact that they got PsychicPebbles to do the voice as well. It just fits so perfectly.
Pretty sure his voice clips are by Psychicpebbles, which adds another layer of weirdness to it all

Grimbo is played by Shamil Malkondu.
@@officiallyjan8596 They mentioned it on the charity auction stream on Dec 2018. The musician is named Shamil.

I heard about all of this on Angry Video Game Nerd’s video on Game Boy Accessories.
Cap'n Crunch is actually a commander, due to his sleeves having three stripes instead of four.
i forgot about Sneak King, what a memory y'all unearthed there
The autumn themed intro for these 2 videos is something i love, shame jon only got to use them 2 times.

Sega genesis was pretty underrated.

We went from the ps2 dvd support being a selling point to consoles without physical disks/cartridges. SMH
