If your running stock carburetor open up the air mixture screw, it was at the bottom of my carburetor! If your bike starts to run to hot close it little by little until the temp runs normal! The more you open the air mixture the better the top end power!
Nice down shifting !! Was looking forward to this vid ... I just did my first mod on my bike removed the air lid and it’s pulling much harder now I want the ejk!
I am considering acquiring a Klx 250 of 2016, it is delimited, my doubt is, On short road trips, at what average speed can you go without taking it too revolutionized?
Sorry I just saw this comment. I made a video as to why I chose the KLX over the other 250s. Here is the link to that video: th-cam.com/video/2KRVCAwjPP4/w-d-xo.html
Nice!! I stretched mine all the way out the other day, just to see.. So, it was reading 92Mph on my bike, but i had the GPS on my phone out and it was reading 85MPH.. I wonder which one was more accurate.
The GPS was probably pretty accurate or at least what people like to believe. As long as I am passing cars and having fun it doesn't matter to me! Did you hit the limiter in 6th?
@@jhmotorclub6916 Same, as long as I'm passing cars and having fun😂 That's qhoatable! No didnt hit the rev limiter. Might have been close 9.5k or something.
I did a stock 0-60 (only an exhaust) in the video below. I believe it was around 7.3 seconds 0-60. It makes around 18ish horsepower to the wheel in stock form. Closer to 20 with the exhaust. th-cam.com/video/G_0u-cmbAL8/w-d-xo.html
lol My old 1991 KLR 250 pulled the ton! 160 kph! With my ex on the back. Your running your bike to rich, and you've geared it for the bush. Put smallest cog possible on the back wheel and biggest cog possible on the gearbox if you want low RPM and good top speed on the highway!
Highway performance sold me in terms of performance comparison. I won't be using it for that I believe but if I did I don't want one hat struggles past 65. Torque is an issue with this range and of course weight, seat height, and overall balance. Honda missed the mark. Yamaha does alright advertising their mileage but week on the road.

85 into a headwind is awesome on any 250 4-stroke

Thanks man! The KLX responds well to mods. The EJK will definitely help to fine tune it! Whenever I get a crisp downshift, it is pretty satisfying!
Is your speedometer accurate? My KLX 250 does 62 when it reads 70 mph.

In stock form, I would usually cruise at 65-70 MPH. With the big bore, I usually cruise at about 70-75 MPH now
@@jhmotorclub6916 Thank you!!
What kind of mirrors are you using those are cool where can you get them
They are Kawell Underbar/Bar End Mirrors. I got them from Amazon:
www.amazon.com/Kawell-Motorcycle-Davidsons-Kawasaki-Cruisers/dp/B002GTKAHQ
It looks like you can cruise at 65-70 easily enough.
Easy! It goes along at that speed pretty well.
What size sprockets are you using
This video has 13/42 gearing
Trying to choose between honda and Kawasaki 250's. Do a comparison or at least give your opinion?

Is that stock 250 or with a big bore kit ?
This video is with the stock bore 250

How does it perform stock? What are the stats and times?

JH Motor Club sweet man thanks
Anytime!
JH Motor Club one more thing, how does the 2020 compare to the 2018
They are the same bike with different graphics
What is this city?
Portland 🙂

In kmh is ?
The Speedometer is in MPH
😬 what grass? 😆
Lol, I had intentions to go to a grass field but did wheelies instead 😂
Rad video. 14 50 sprockets?
Thanks! In this video I had 13 42 sprockets
That's awesome brother, how off is the speedo you think?
I think it is off by 10 percent at most. I think it is closer to 8 or 9 from what I've seen going by police radars.
I’ve hit 85 on my stock 2018
That's great! I'm going to do a more organized top speed test soon with a flatter road and less wind, but 90 MPH is pretty brisk for a little 250!

The KLX has some oomph to get up to 75. It has just enough power to make you not feel stranded
Hooliganism I like it
