Communist Party of the Philippines 48th Anniversary

In celebration of the 48th year since its re-establishment, a national peace assembly was held by the Communist Party of the Philippines on December 26, 2016, in Barangay Lumiad, Paquibato District in Davao City.
The Pulang Bagani Battalion of New People's Army-Southern Mindanao held a formation at the start of the day-long celebration.
