      Yes absolutely! If it wasn’t for the air box being in the way of the steering stem mount, it probably wouldn’t be to bad..

    Man jour channel is steadily growing, awesome content as always! Nice work! How much time did this job take?

      @rockspowersports  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sure is growing, thanks to all of you that watch the content! I charged 3 hours for this job, it did take me a little longer than that due to some Software issues i was having with my diagnostics system.

    I have a few questions about when you replaced the DPS. Is it possible to put the steering post, or the Pittman arm in a different spline when reinstalling? Compared to where it was originally? Wondering because I noticed my alignment seemed off after mine was replaced under warranty. Is there only 1 way for both of the sets of splines to line up? And did you reset the torque sensor with Buds after installing? Thanks

      I know a lot of people have had issues with them… I’ve been happy with mine though, 210,000 miles and climbing.

      @@rockspowersportsthat gives me hope! I like to ask people that have them. I have a 2016 with 100,000miles. I haven’t had any issues either. Cheers.

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve had a few issues over that 200,000 but most of them are recalls now.
      If yours still has its emission system in tact I’d keep an eye on your coolant level. My EGR cooler started leaking around 100,000. I believe it’s a recall now though.

    How was it to drive without PS? looking at buy a non dps model and put tracks on it.

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Without Power steering they are pretty rough to steer with tracks especially in the heavy wet snow. This one was supposed to have power steering so it’s even worse than the non dps models.

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It recalibrates the speedometer due to the lower gearing. Also changes how much assist the eps gives you.

    hey rock quick question for you if you dont mind.i got a 2006 polaris sportsman 500 efi with engine light on.had flashing battery light at high rpm,replaced stator was bad and now all good,but check engine light still on?this year polaris dont have that turn key back and forth and code appears.the check engine dont flash,just stays on.any help would be so great.thank you

      Unfortunately I’m not sure unless you could get the check engine to flash to see what code it says. Did you check the running voltage at the battery to make sure it’s not spiking?
