    Tips!
    I purchase clear 12.oz plastic cups from Amazon that already have the measurements in ml & ounces and 10ml syringes ( LIFE saver!)
    Base layer
    4 oz of part A
    4oz of part B
    (TOTAL 8oz cup of resin)
    Filling the cavities
    Use 10ml syringe.
    Dip syringe in cup
    Pull resin to the •8ml• line
    fill a cavity & repeat 27x's
    Top layer
    2oz part A
    2oz part B
    (TOTAL 4oz of resin)
    Repeat syringe technique but use 3.5ml but no more than 4ml unless you want a hot mess lol.
    Math time: 8oz (base)+ 4oz (top)= 12oz makes a COMPLETE set .. No more guessing, running out or left over resin 😊
    FYI it's a "lil bit " more time consuming using the syringe but once you get the hang of it you'll breeze right along. Keep in mind you do have to work a lil fast or as you know the resin will get hot clump n that's lost product/money.
    Lastly I recently started running a blade along the sides instead of sanding the domino when needed.. sis sanding is the DEVIL!
    Hope this is helpful and I wish YOU and any other crafter reading this many blessings & much success 🤗💕

    Can you use oven with other type of molds

  • @calvinamason6184

    Do you think if I put the mold in an electric oven at 150 degrees withou me buying a toaster over it would work the same.

    Speaking of burning down the house... may I recommend, if u can NEVER heat resin inside the house, meaning go ahead n use ur toaster oven but have the oven outside, patio porch backyard garage etc.. we wear mask inorder to not breathe in the toxins of the resin, but the. When we bake it the fumes/chemicals are released into the air x100!! Be careful and CRAFT ON!!❤

    Now I gotta buy a dam toaster oven. Have you tried this method with rolling trays?

    • @CraftingwithKandor
      @CraftingwithKandor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      😂 i have not tried it with rolling trays, but just make sure you get one that’s big enough. Because the one i have a quite small.

    Nice video how log should I bake the for and what temp. Also I want to put a resin rolling trey how long should I leave it in the oven

      @CraftingwithKandor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! I baked my dominoes at 150 degrees F for 30 minutes to an hour. Rolling trays may need an hour +. My oven will not fit a rolling tray so i suggest buying a bigger one, you may want to bring your mold with you. I do not suggest baking resin in a regular oven since resin is highly toxic. You don't want it anywhere near your food.

    Did you spray your mold before pouring. I have the same toaster oven and the bottom of my dominoes came out with holes

    • @CraftingwithKandor
      @CraftingwithKandor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You know what, I thought it was just me not properly cleaning my mold. Some of them did have tiny holes. What do you suggest spraying them with? I'm going to try again.

      Hi ladies, I've been doing dominos since Aug 2020 and for a very long time STRUGGLED trying to get rid of those lil corner holes on the bottom of the domino. After researching I found that coating the mold with baby powder those damn holes disappear! When I tell yall my a$$ was STOKED at the results its an understatement 🤣.
      I pour powder in each cavity and use a blush brush to smear around really good, then flip the mold over, smack it against a box/table to get the excess out. If I can still see powder I just blow it out... give it a try and yall won't regret it 🤗

      @@Msbossyga interesting to read.. so do you still use acrylic paint to color your resin?
      I used mica powder & acrylic paint the one time I used my oven and ruined 3 sets 😖🤦‍♀️. Them mother suckers had bubbles everywhere and I was so damn baffled as to why. Lord knows we aint got time to be wasting resin!

    • @CraftingwithKandor
      @CraftingwithKandor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I personally would not because resin is very toxic that’s why they tell you to wear a mask, gloves and even eye protection. I just don’t trust to put it anywhere near food.

    • @gerrikamonique2951
      @gerrikamonique2951 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @CraftingwithKandor
      @CraftingwithKandor  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A well ventilated area, i make sure all my windows are open & a fan because resin is STRONG
