- The Russian defence ministry has released a video showing the removal of its first captured Marder infantry fighting vehicle from the battlefield. The ministry said that the German-made vehicle was captured when Russia was 'liberating' villages after the fall of Avdiivka. Ukrainian forces had abandoned the vehicle after it got stuck in the soil near the frontline due to its weight. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian foreign minister has said that he gets an 'irritated feedback' from the NATO Natio every time he comments over the supply of Germany's long-range Taurus missiles. If Russia even managed to properly tow those vehicles. There's a video of a Leopard 2 being towed by 2 Russian recovery vehicles. They were quickly destroyed.
In general, towing armored vehicles from combat zones is extremely difficult with drone reconnaissance.
Hopefully, Zelensky now understands how ruthless and untrustworthy the US is, and how stupid it was to get goaded into a proxy war without the weapons, the money, or the cannon fodder to win that war.

Its very old equipment Marder ended series production in 1975. Most of stock was put in storage in the early 1990s. It's the same case with the M2 Bradleys and M1 Abrams they received.
