I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my TH-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

2:21 is Haechan (Lee Donghyuck is his real name) he is also in NCT 127 and NCT DREAM. he is one of the main vocalists. he has a very unique vocal tone. a very talented young man.
2:29 is Taeil. he is the oldest member of NCT born in 1994. he is also a part of NCT 127. one of the main vocalists. he has powerful vocal, king of highnotes.

There are currently 23 members of NCT and they are divided into a different subunits. They currently have 4 subunits which is Nct 127, Nct Dream, Nct U, and WayV. Their concept is actually very unique to kpop because they can have an unlimited number of members, in short anyone can be added in NCT. They actually have 2 new members who just debuted last October, and a possible new unit.
Btw, this song is for nct members who came from different countries. They have american, canadian, korean, japanese, thai and chinese members. They sing this song in 4 languages which is korean, japanese, chinese, english . As you can see all the foreigner members appeared at the last part of the song. PLEASEE REACT TO NCT MORE!!

That super long note was Doyoung. Im not sure if anyone has mentioned this but, you would probably also like their song "Coming Home". It dropped a little over a year ago (NCT 4 Seasons) it consists of Doyoung, Haechan (the one you mentioned looked like D.O.), Taeil (the other voice you really liked), and a fourth member Jaehyun. This was an insane performance and as probably aforementioned, the other members that popped up was all their foreign members. They have members from Japan, China, Thailand, Canada, U.S. (Chicago), and...I think I got them (if not someone please help me out. Enjoy falling down the NCT rabbit hole! :D

Nephi we're same. I'm EXOL and I put really high standard when it comes to vocal things. But what I can say in kpop industry, besides EXO, NCT is one of the group that all of their members can sing very well🥺 I'm so impressed! As expected from EXO's junior! Actually for SM artist they all have the quality you know! You should listen to SNSD, Btob, Super Junior , Red Velvet, Shinee and moree argh I just love all of SM artist but my forever fav idol is EXO❤️

Fun fact: Kim Doyoung (the guy in the center) just made his 1st debut today as musical actor in Marie Antoinette stage and he got a lot good praise by the audiences (idol/non-idol fans also musical entusiast). That tells why he can hold long af high note effortlessly.

You'll be surprised how many they are? 😂 As a whole they are 23. They have sub-units. They have a music video for "From home" 7 of them sing this song originally. The one who sang first is Haechan (You said the D.O lookalike) the second was Taeil (wearing the beret) and the third is Do Young. Aren't they amazing? I'm an exo-l too but I also love NCT. Even tho I don't sing I also have high standards in music. Since college I was really an SM stan so I'm used to Kpop groups w/ amazing vocals. SM is indeed the home of one of the best vocals in Kpop. This is one of my fave ballad from NCT the other one is "Back 2 u" by NCT127 they are one of the sub-units. I recommend you to react to the NEO city in the U.S. concert version of that song hehe.

First time commenting in this channel. I'm an exol for 7 years and I was so contented with EXO that I had a hard time stanning other groups. I really thought I wouldn't stan anyone else but NCT surprisingly fit their way in my very high standard! Tho it took me 4yrs to appreciate their music, which was a mistake bec they have great vocals and dancing! U can never go wrong with SM artists.
There's actually a curse. If u start stanning one SM artist, u will end up stanning ALL of them. Maybe not the same way as u stan ur ult group but u will find urself rooting for all of the SM artists bec theyre THAT good. Let's see if Nephi falls in that curse hahaha

Nct has a unique system. There are 3 different fixed subunits who have different music styles and promote separately. They are: nct 127, nct dream and wayv(Chinese subunit). Some time they unite to work on an album all together and each song of the album is made by some of the members. When members from different subunits work together thy work as nct u. This song is from a project of last year which was called nct 2020. All the members made an album together split in two parts: resonance pt.1 and pt.2. this song is one of the title tracks. With nct 2020 two new members have been added and they are part of the lineup of a new subunit which will debut this year. So in total right now they are 23

NCT is from SM Entertainment debuted on 2016. They are split into 4 sub-units (NCT 127, NCT U, NCT DREAM & WAYV). Currently there are 23 members from various countries.
NCT U is the first sub-unit of NCT, and doesn't have fixed members, so the lineup keeps changing for every comeback, depending on who fits the concept of the song.
NCT 127 is the second sub-unit of NCT, they are based on Seoul thus, "127" representing the longitude coordinate of Seoul. They debuted with 7 members. They added 2 members from NCT U on Dec. 2016 and on 2018 they added their last 1 member. They now have 10 FIXED members. (6 are koreans, 1 member is american, 1 is canadian, 1 member is Japanese and 1 is from China who currently doesn't promote in 127 because he debuted on WayV).
NCT DREAM is the third unit that was created specifically for the teenaged members of NCT, it was initially formed to follow an aged-based admission-graduation system in which members would move on from the unit after reaching korean age of 20 (19 internationally), but in 2020 SM removed the graduation system and will continue future activities as a flexible-style group with the 7 original members. (4 members are korean and 2 chinese members, 1 is canadian)
WAYV is the fourth sub-unit of NCT based on China produced by SM but managed by their China-exclusive, Label V. The group is not promoted as an NCT group until the announcement of NCT 2020, due to tense relations between China and South Korea. (All members are of chinese descent but from various countries: only 3 members is from mainland china, 1 is from thailand, 1 from macau, 1 from hong kong, and 1 from germany/taiwan)
And last year around early/late November they introduced 2 new members Sungchan (korean) and Shotaro (japanese) making them 23 membered group for now and SM might give us 40-member kpop boy group before 2025 😂😂😂
