I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it's true. So what's motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn't an easy time but I won't let fear dictate my life. I didn't think 'why me', there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it's not always smooth sailing. It's true when you hear, 'Life is short', the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It's so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

Fun fact! This song is actually sung in 4/8 of NCT's fluent languages (Korean, English, Mandarin and Japanese).
This is because it's dedicated to the foreign members of NCT, who left their homes to follow their dreams, but found a new home in the group and the members. NCT is a multi-cultural group with more foreigners than Korean members (13/23 moved to Korea to become singers). On the live stage of the rearranged version of From Home, all of the foreign members join this unit to sing the final chorus.
At 7:04, some of the members say "thank you" in their native tongue. For some reason Cantonese isn't included, but it's probably because they counted Cantonese and Mandarin as one language/Chinese. Here are the languages they speak in if you wanted to know:

Rebecca is far from being labelled as an NCTzen but for her to say that listening to From Home made her emotional, despite the song being sung in multiple languages, really just gives the impression that the members successfully conveyed the emotions that the song carried. I hope every non-fan or casual listener who gets to listen to From Home feels the same amount of comfort and joy that this gave to NCTzens 🥺

Haechan being a main vocalist of 2 groups (not including NCT U) is just amazing. He knows how to position himself and do his parts on another level. I am always so proud. Also Renjun and Chenle’s vocals are amazing especially when they speak in their native language. My Dreamies getting the recognition they deserve 😭😭😭

You reacting to NCT feels like both my worlds colliding since I love you both so much hehe the first guy's name is Haechan. He's well known for his unique and beautiful voice. When I first started getting into NCT, his voice had caught my attention and now he's my bias hehe
Haechan will just lure in with his vocals like that. Then you watch guides and you see his personality then it is just game over. Plus his visuals and dancing skills are no joke. He is one of the members with strong stage presence.

I loved this! Haechan's voice is a fan favorite because it's just so unique as you said so I'm glad he also gets the recognition from pros like you. I would love to hear your opinion on Candle Light by NCT DREAM (or just a nct dream song), I think their vocals sound lovely there (Haechan is in that song too) and that group has my favorite voices because they're so agile and possess beautiful timbres.
Taeil high note... Rebecca wait a minute than rewinds to Taeil’s vocals, Haechan’s vocals are unique and that of the rest of the crew are as amazing as the whole unit that sang this song. The live version would have been a better choice. If any of you have not watched it it is worth every second.

Fun Fact: This called the song of NCT because of some facts. First to explain the concept of NCT a bit they have an unlimited number of members so they expand every year for an example 2 new members debuted this year. They have 23 now. They divide into units and promote with them bug every 1 or 2 year they come together and promote as a whole. The majority of the members are foreigners that has left their home at such a young age. So in this song they talk about leaving their homes coming to together to chase their dreams. Also all of the members sang in their native language so this song contains Japanese, Chinese, Korean (and some English for international fans). So this song has a special place in fandom and the group...
Also the re arranged version has live vocals, more advanced vocals and also their videos and pictures as NCT the day they became a group. Some of the members were kids aged around 12, 13 etc. and now all of them are grown up...
