Yes! Thank you! I totally agree… Full frame is something special. It’s a definite look. But. If you want nature and landscape, than Olympus is your best choice 👌 that’s why I run with the 6D and an Olympus e500
i gotta say X100 the first was the camera that got me really into photography back in 2012, when i just bored with my canon dslr. Had it for 6 years! then i got budget to try more cameras ended up with Leicas and Sigma Fp. In between that i bought many fujis just because i want to have that experience again with x100. Xt3, xe4, xs10, xe4 again, and xt5 is what ended it all. Found out, i just dont really like the film simulations most of them really not suitable with my taste, and with the modern specs i just dont like that i have to use the film sims just so i dont get the fomo lol. And the second is the size of their cameras, they’re apsc, and somehow its too big, I used mft also their size is just justified when so many fullframe sensors camera can get smaller. And now with this issue with supplies with their x100vi series is what finally ended my trust with them.
Awesome video man! Thoroughly enjoyed listening to your thoughts and I have to say I have to agree with your points. I go back and forth with camera systems as you know, including Fuji X, and I agree that I spend a lot of time looking at the Fuji settings before I shoot. Also agree about the shutter delay and the full frame look. It is real. It may not bother some people but like you said I get tired of the APS-C look at times. That said, I might take a Fuji camera with me on my next trip! 😂 You know I'm a bit of an oddball but honestly it's not for me. I might just do it for the people who've been asking me for a Fuji X video. But great content my man, as always! Keep it up! 😎📷👍
Great video! Finding the camera that suits you the best is an adventure. I always gravitated to cameras that have a unique look and maybe not the latest or greatest. nut always looking for image quality and lens availability!
The cameras I have and use on a reg basis. Pentax K-r, Pentax Mx-1, Pentax Q, Pentax X-5, Kodak Z740 and other digicams. Had a Pentax KP, but the SD reader died, but have a variety of zoom lens and primes. ( K mount )
Nice set up man 🙏 Pentax gear is amazing. Special mention for the Pentax Q 💪 was my first video I ever made. Love that camera. Especially the first gen that has the magnesium body. Hands down the most fun camera I’ve ever used. The MX1 is also a legend. I made a video entitled “secret camera” which looks at a digital Espio camera… very very cool camera. Check it out if you haven’t already 👏👏 Thanks for sharing and being such an icon of the photographer world 💪💪
As a Fuji User I agree. Fuji do have wonderful cameras but the hype behind them has gone nuts! Before the X series of cameras were put out to market the cameras they produced were pretty dire and they have come a long way in a short space of time. I have a X-T2 and it has started to misbehave and i fear it's not long for this world. Will I get another fuji ? Probably not. I just want a small, full frame simple camera that Is simple to operate. I am one of those people who, when given a choice, goes into panic mode and I can't decide what to do. Take car parks for example. If there is a choice of parking spaces, I drive round panicking about which one to drive into. I blame my dad, he was the same. So i need a full frame fixed lens camera without loads of dials and switches......So the Leica Q3 it is then, perfect except for the price!!!!!!!
@@andytheghosthunter yeah you pretty much summed it up nicely. Small full frame 🤔 I’d suggest the Sony R1 but I’m sure about the reliability of them. Sigma FP maybe? But Leica would be amazing 🤩
